I am here to tell you that Pablito's Taqueria, though it lives in an unsuspecting strip mall, has something for everyone. Parking is a non-issue. Pricing is on point, and dare I say 'cheap' compared to other restaurants in the area? There's a lot of seating options and Pablito's can definitely accommodate any size of group. We stopped in on a rainy Thursday evening, having just gotten into town. The chips and salsa were pretty good-- the salsa was a bit tomato-heavy for my taste. Where as the guacamole was a phenomenal. I will definitely be trying the chunky guac the next time I am in town. Margs were on happy hour ($1 off) on Thursday evenings-- I thought mine was great! I ordered the green chili enchiladas with a cheese sauce as well as rice and beans. Other folks in my party ordered a burrito and tacos... we ALL left satisfied. (Though I will say, DANNNNG. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was quick and friendly. We started with the queso, which was so good I completely forgot to take a picture of it! My fiancé recommended that I try the Jiba Dinner, and I'm so glad I listened. It was surprisingly delicious, and I would absolutely order it again. I'm still not a huge fan of Mexican-style chicken, but the quality of the chicken was actually really good. I also appreciated that they were able to accommodate my gluten intolerance by swapping the flour tortillas for corn tortillas. I honestly can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm already looking forward to coming back to Carmelita's! It's definitely a new favorite for me.
