The "fried dumplings" were deep-fried. Yuck. The pad thai was soupy. It literally sat in a liquidy brown sauce. Eeww. The drunken noodles were also soupy. It's like they served noodles with a few veggies and threw in a bunch of Mr. Yoshida sauce. read more

My sister and I came here for lunch and were super please by our experience here. Everything was well cooked, beautifully prepared and well portioned. I ordered the pineapple rice and my sister ordered a soup. BOTH were fabulous and ever since I came here I've been wanting to return. The staff was patient and quick. The location is nice, comfy and not too closed in. I was with my service dog and they seated us outside were super patient with us and we really appreciated that! read more

I had heard from the locals about the only Thai restaurant in Blue Hill. We decided to stop in and we were very happy with the meal! Having sushi as an option in this area is great. I live on an island. All the food someone else makes costs 2x what it should. I drive 30 minutes to enjoy fresh seafood sushi's and other Asian specialties. Just pay the over priced cost of their fowl rancid food and wait until your gut implodes on itself for the most intense food poisoning you will even endure. Youll be fighting your relatives or roommates for the bathroom, highfiving on the floor for not dying, vomit dripping down your cheek and your pants around your ankles from the raw tush. Tears will roll down your eyes and you will pray to whatever higher force you believe in apologizing for any squirrel you ran over to make it stop. Called the health dept. We had 2 curries. Lots of veggies, not much chicken. Very flavorful though the curry is on the thin side as opposed to creamy. Very fair prices for the amount of food you get. Good, efficient service. They have wine and beer and a few tables on a patio right next to the river. read more

The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because the inside dining is really laid back and not fancy, so it's a comfy little place. The food - we had shrimp pad thai, Panang Curry with Crispy chicken, and ginger fish - was all spectacular and authentic. I got the spice at four out of five and it was spot on for me, but I love hot! The food has layers of deliciousness in it. We also had the fried pork dumpling, which is a gyoza. Also, really good with it's sauce, thicker than your normal gyoza sauce but delicious. read more

Holy cow. From the second my mom and I pulled up to this place, that was the only thought running through my head. Siam Sky is in this absolutely adorable house-type building right next to a stream. It seems like the most unlikely place to have a restaurant, but it works! The ambience is amazing! The ceiling depicts a beautiful sky scene; a leftover from the previous pizza restaurant there, Pie in The Sky. It's bright and sunny with a good number of tables and big windows that look out at the stream. It's a beautiful little setup, which was impressive from the very beginning! My mom and I were there for the lunch special. We both got thai iced tea, crab rangoons, dumplings, and pad thai. For the lunch special, the appetizers come out with one of each that you select, a small bowl of ginger soup, and a small salad. The dumpling was freshly fried and super tasty! The crab rangoon was interesting; it wasn't as savory as I have had some, but it was still good! The salad was topped with a tasty dressing and even had a carrot cut in the shape of a heart. The ginger soup was refreshing and had a really good, clean flavor to it. The thai iced tea was delicious and spot on taste-wise. Our pad thai came with a little flag stuck in the top of it that said Happy New Year! It was adorable. The flavor was great in the pad thai. Pad thai varies in taste from every restaurant, simply because there are a variety of ways to make it. The portion was HUGE, so my mom and I both got boxes. The waitress brought out a complementary dish of fruit for us when she brought out our check. All in all, the food was tasty, the price was really unbeatable for authentic food, and they went to every effort to make the meal special and unforgettable. The carrot heart, the New Year's flags, and the fruit bowl were all really special little touches that I absolutely appreciated. Siam Sky is a great little Thai restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for ethnic cuisine in the Blue Hill area! read more

What a poor excuse for authentic Thai food! You have got to be kidding! Pad thai very bland, and I ordered spicy

Returned after 2 years to be pleasantly surprised. Lunch menu is the same (but printed on new plastic pages) but everything else has been improved. Place is now clean and inviting with no dirty plates left on the table. Ginger soup still has too much large pieces of ginger but the soup is sweet and tasty. Sauces are still thin but the flavor is there now with just the right amount of spice. Vegetables in the curries are fresh and almost raw but tasty and I finished them all. Service was quick and pleasant. Rice is molded into the shape of a heart and nicely soaked up the sauces. I am glad I came back. Prices have gone up but lunch is $12.50 and dinner prices are $14 to $19 still an inviting place. read more

We get Siam Sky once a week and their food is excellent! Thai right here in Blue Hill! We love it. Being able to order online and pick-up is so smooth. Regrettable, 3 appetizers and a salad $46. Sauces were like flavored syrup. "Spring rolls" were tightly rolled with almost imperceivable vegtable filling, scallion pancake was ok but skip the "bean" sauce, the crab Ragoon were the saving grace but I didn't detect any crab in them, all was packaged in recyclable plastic, if only Blue Hill had their one step recycle program in effect. The physical space of the restaurant is very nice - hopefully they will step up their game to match the food to the nice setting. Very funny come back Vee but it does nothing to change my experience! read more

Siam Sky: It's hard to find real and good Thia cuisine around here, and when I heard about this new restaurant I was incredibly excited. This local and small business, is new and innovative in Blue Hill, Maine and never seen before. The food is good with Orange Chicken to Vegetable or Pork Dumplings to other scrumptious food. I wish we had known about Siam Sky at the beginning of our Downeast visit instead of the end. My dinner of Tom yum soup and basil fried rice was out of this world. The soup had fresh vegetables and the perfect amount of spice. The rice was fresh with Thai basil, broccoli, onion... Gorgeous. My mother-in-law, husband, and two kids had sushi, fresh rolls, edamame, tuna tataki, more sushi. I could eat here every day. The atmosphere was peaceful and the staff very polite. Siam Sky has become my go-to restaurant in Blue Hill, especially when meeting friends for dinner. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere couldn't be better. i love to sit on the outside deck and listen to the sounds of Mill Stream rushing by. They have great appetizers, like scallion pancakes, and I have tried several of their curries. I especially like their Thai curry with vegetables or tofu, and butternut squash curry with duck. Portions are generous, and there is easily enough to take home after dinner for another meal. I am not so fond of their milder dishes, which lack flavor compared to their curries. I wish they would do more with ginger, as their ginger dishes are good, but need more of that ingredient to make them more flavorful. One warning: be mindful of how spicy you want your food to be. I hear there's a new chef, from Thailand, and he makes his dishes pretty spicy. I like spicy food, and a level 3 out of 5 works for me at Siam Sky. read more

Mom and I were out for a last-minute casual dinner. Had heard mixed reviews about this place but I was nonetheless really interested in a good curry. Dumplings were decent and arrived hot with a thick, savory sweet sauce. The fresh rolls were tasty - nice complement of cilantro. But the crown was the curry. I had the green, Mom had squash. Both were excellent - fresh veggies, flavorful and rich broth and just the right amount of spice (mine was medium; Mom's was mild). Service was attentive and we were surprised with little things like molded rice (Mom got a heart and I got a whale), and a fruit cup and chocolate fortune cookie at the end. I spent my childhood in Blue Hill and am delighted to have this kind of quality ethnic cuisine in town. read more

They produced the most beautiful trays of Thai appetizers, clearly labeled, complete with sauces, and beautifully presented. They even cut the carrot garnishes in the shape of hearts! Siam Sky is a welcome addition to Blue Hill. The building is airy and fresh looking. We had the ginger soup and tom gai, both were very good. I had mango curry with tofu, my husband had prik khing with tofu, they were also very good. All the flavors we were hoping for were there, a nice respite from the usual Downeast foods. Excellent food! Fresh, tasty & beautifully presented. It was a full house when we went for a weekday lunch so service was a little slow as the single server seemed a little too busy. Ate here for the first time last September and had a wonderful experience dining in. The food was super flavorful, the service quick and friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant, especially during the height of COVID. Now that we are back in town for the summer, we ordered takeout as our first Maine meal of 2021, and again, we were not disappointed. The beef noodle soup was just as delicious as it was last fall, and my parents both enjoyed their meals (green curry and pad Thai). After spending all day in the car after a long drive up from NYC, this food hit the spot. 10/10 recommend. read more
