Got one of their flyers in our door the other day. Couldn't decide what we wanted for dinner so we decided to give them a try. Being from New England we are pretty spoiled by good pizza. First and foremost nobody would even get up off their lazy behind to come out front to explain how their "QR" code menu works. Not a single menu or display board in the place. Friday night is pizza night and Sicily was on the menu. It's located right next to a crab restaurant. Upon walking up there are 2 tables for outdoor seating. When walking it seems as though they are remodeling but no worries they're still taking orders. I placed my order and 20 min later everything came out hot and fresh. Great food! The pizza and especially the wings are incredible. But the customer service and experience of ordering is terrible. The first time I ordered on the Slice app a good 45 minutes before I left work. When I arrived to pick up my order, I don't believe they actually saw the order until I got there. I waited an additional 35 minutes for my order. A few weeks later, I decided to try again because their food is so good and the experience was even worse. Picked up my food and started to leave then thought I better check it. The order was incorrect. Turned around and went. The lady at the counter remembered me from the last experience. I asked for the manager/owner and was told he won't be in until tomorrow. I asked her to please have him call me and she assured me that he would. I never received a phone call. She re-put my order in, and I asked for a refund and which she told me she would refund me through the app, but never did! I did not feel like waiting an additional 45 minutes so I asked them to deliver it. In which she told me sure it'll be around 45 minutes. OK fine an hour and 15 minutes later the food was delivered. This place could be wonderful for the food, but the customer service sucks. Oh, and she can only do one thing at a time. I waited on the phone more than five minutes to verify my second order. It was several years ago when I last ate here. Since it had been that long, before my Yelp days, I decided to revisit and write a review. About a month ago, I ordered their lasagna dinner with a side salad to go. I picked up,the food about 20 minutes after ordering and brought it home. The salad was larger than expected and very good. The lasagna was meaty, cheesy, large in size and very yummy it came with some good French bread. This was a very good meal that I rated as a 4. A couple of weeks later, I tried a medium thin and crispy pie consisting of beef, mushrooms and onions. The pizza was again ready in about 20 minutes and again I took it home to eat. This pizza had a lot of cheese on it along with the ingredients I requested. The crust was just right in thickness and my impression of this pizza rated it as a 4. It was a quality pie that I would readily order again. Both of my meals were very good and I will order them again. The lasagna is only $7.99 and my custom medium pizza with 3 toppings was just a little over $11. This restaurant does have sit down indoor dining available with table service. However, it is sparse and minimal in nature so I view this as more of a take out place. I will return. read more

I'm satisfied with the great service and food. Ordered supreme, sausage and pepperoni. Waited for awhile but it's understandable since we're COVID times and Houston bad weather condition. Came home and received the wrong order, called back to let them know and they offer to correct the order with no problem. Yes it's a hassle but we were happy for them to be open and get hot food when Electricity was on and off. First time eating a non franchise pizza store. Pizza was delicious. Ordered a Margarita Pizza. It's supposed to have "fresh basil ". Not this one. There was spinach instead of basil. I didn't want a spinach pizza. If they don't have the correct ingredients, they shouldn't sell it. They should just say we don't have that one tonight or something similar. Ordered shrimp Alfredo and cheese manicotti. One suggestion to the mgmt, use bigger shrimp for this. Charge a few bucks more if you must, but everything was good except the small shrimp just didn't cut it. I consider myself somewhat of an Italian (From NJ!) connoisseur so, I want to note the sauce used on the manicotti is superb. Excellent recipe, just enough seasonings and a bit of the acidic tang of tomatoes. Price was really a refreshing change too. This is a review for an online order placed via GrubHub. I was staying in Houston for business and some Italian food sounded nice. I ordered fettuccine alfredo and a 12 inch pepperoni pizza roll. I honestly didn't know what I was expecting for the pizza roll. When it came, sure enough, it was a foot long calzone. It was alright but a little flimsy and not that flavorful. Next time I would forgo this and just get a calzone or pizza. The pasta shouldn't have tasted as good as it did. There was so much oil on top that it made it look so unappetizing. HORRIFIC MANAGEMENT! Ordered a Pepperoni pizza with EXTRA Pepperoni. Pizza had a slice with only 3 pepperonis. Called to speak with Mgr who initially said his name was Shane. He was EXTREMELY rude! Asked me 2x whether the remainder of the pizza had pepperoni. To which I replied yes! He said the pepperoni would shift sometimes. That was understandable. However, I suggested upon placing pizza in the box. This could have been corrected. I paid to see extra pepperoni on ENTIRE Pizza. Instead of using his Management skills (he clearly has none) he agitated me more. I told him I would be writing this review and posting picture as well. I asked for his name again. After many (and by many I mean MANY) times ordering food here I'm finally going to write this review. If you are reading this you must understand that the stars I've giving Sicily Pizza comes with a major disclaimer: Every single one of the stars I am giving go towards the wings but ONLY if you order them EXACTLY the way I am recommending. If you order any other way...you are on your own and my stars don't count. The above is the disclaimer and here are the instructions. 1. Order plus 35 wings. I order all flats but order drums if that's what you like. Because of the amount you order you are more guaranteed a successful order. 2. Order Lemon Pepper and/or Suicide. They have what I consider one of the best lemon pepper out there (plenty of butter and seasoning.) The Suicide isn't as hot as it sounds so don't let that scare you. It does have a good kick as well as flavor and goes very well when you dip it in the left over lemon pepper seasoning. 3. This is THE most important of all instructions. Order them like this: "EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA CRISPY WELL DONE...Almost Burnt." That statement right there will give you the perfect crisp any wingologist can attest too. If you don't word it exactly as Ive stated, you may end up with some red near the bone as you may have seen on another yelpers picture. They will not be burnt at all but these are words you must use for this place. When all the above are followed properly, your order should be delivered with a taste of perfection. Again, if you fail at following these instructions you are at risk at getting angry and blaming me and perhaps others for the recommendations. You will cry and need Kleenex to wipe your tears thus causing even more money spent on your failure to follow good instructions. You will not enjoy that great tongue pleasing as I did when trying this method. You want tongue pleasing...you follow instruction. You buy, we fry. (Sorry I got carried away there...) Thank you.
