I went home and tried the sandwich right away after my WOD and saved the chicken parm for lunch! *Creamy Chopped Chicken Sandwich - can you believe this is dairy free AND gluten free? It comes with a small Arugula salad on the side with some blueberry vinaigrette and OMG everything tasted so delicious! I was pleasantly surprised at how much flavor was in everything and how well everything was seasoned. The chicken sandwich was creamy and delicious, the bread being GF was a bit on the crumbly side, but it was tasty and I didn't mind it. The chicken is cut up into pieces for you, even though it doesn't look like it. They think of everything don't they?! It made it way easy to eat during lunch. The chicken was NOT dry at all, very well seasoned and moist, and definitely tasty. That marinara sauce was yum and paired so well with the zucchini noodles! I devoured this dish, just like the other one! 297 calories and 27g of protein! Winning!!! I loved both dishes I bought, and they rotate their menu online so you can pick and choose your meals. They have grab and go locations and also, if you order in advance, you can select a pick-up location closer to you and they'll have them ready the next week if you order by a certain day! For the past six months , I was caring for my mother while she was in hospice, It was one of the most stressful and painful experiences i have ever gone through. As my mother became weaker, she eventually stopped eating, There was very little i could do for her, but there was one thing that could bring a smile to her face; Jason Deli potato soup. That potato soup became became my go-to. No matter how difficult things became, my mother never seemed to get tired of it. I would come into the Jason's Deli at 11081Westheimer Rd to pick it up for her. During that very difficult time, Steve, the manage, always greeted me with a smile and called me by my name, Miss. Sandra. Many times , I would walk through the door almost speechless because of the pain I was carrying inside. Without me having me having to say much, Steve would say something like," I know what you're here for. Let me get that potato soup for you and get it just right". I never really explained to Steve what I was going through . I simply told him the soup was for my mother. My mother passed away about a month ago, and I had not returned to Jason's Deli until week. I has been missing her terrible, and I decided to stop in. although I wasn't even sure what I wanted. when I walked through the door. Steve immediately said, "I haven't seen you a while, Miss. Sandra" still remembering my name, Then he asked, "Are you here for the potato soup?" I told him no, and the I shared with him that my mother had passed away. He was genuinely shocked and immediately expresses his sympathy. He asked, "Miss Sandra, what can I do for you today?" I told him that I hadn't actually come in the potato soup, but decided I would get some in memory of my mother. Steve responded by saying , Miss Sandra , I'm going to take care of you today . This is for you." That simple act of kindness meant more to me than he will probably ever know. Steve may not realize how much his kindness meant to me during one of the hardest periods of my life. He didn't know the depth of what I was going through, yet every time I walked through those doors, he treated me with warmth, dignity, and genuine care. What make this even more special is that I have watched Steve treat everyone this way. I am not the only person who receives his kindness. He greets people as they enter and leaves, remembers customers, and consistently provides the kin of customer service that makes people feel seen and valued. Steve is truly one of a kind, and I believe people like him should be recognized and celebrated. Jason's Deli is blessed to have someone like Steve representing you company. And I feel blessed that, during such a painful chapter in my l had the opportunity to experience his kindness. Please let Steve know how much he is appreciated. I like to point out the Clover Valley Coffee it tastes strong, and it is to me is as good as any other name brand, but with the advantage of a lower price. I was use to pay $4.00 more for a fancy brand when I decide to give a try. It might just be me, but I like and it tastes great. I also tried their cookies at they are as good as any other name brand at a lower price. The employees are very polite the store is very well organized not the clutter you encounter on some discounts stores . The aisles are very neat and in general you find the items where they are supposed to be. I truly recomend this new Dollar General Supermarket.
