The information that they provided and Kurt's certifications, AGS and GIA, made us feel at ease and confident that they could create a beautiful ring. We asked if they had Marquise diamonds or if they could bring some in for us to look at. After a few days they called us to look at two diamonds and different settings. The diamonds and settings we're so beautiful it took me awhile to decide what I wanted. I eventually decided to get a plain halo setting. The ring took three weeks to create but it was well worth the wait. I'm obsessed and haven't stopped staring at it since we picked it up. I went back into his shop on Monday and he explained what the coins were worth (at market rate). He was also very upfront and transparent on his fees (which ended up being around 10%). In short order, we were able to identify a band & setting for an engagement ring, and Josh worked to source diamonds from several different places at different sizes & characteristics within my price range to make the right choice - sized and set on a pretty tight timeline.
