Not hooking up GFI outlet for our dishwasher. He never never cleaned up. The 2 main times he was here the mess in our basement was herendos. They were by far the least expensive of the other companies that quoted the job. JW is a great man and turns out a great electrician! It took about a week to get on the schedule because of them being swamped with work. Very professional and they did a great job. JW sent pictures of the completed work to the city inspector, which made his job a breeze. The DTE electrician was also pleasantly surprised to see that he would not have to terminate any wiring and all he had to do was plug in the meter. I can't recommend JW Shaw Electric enough. 5 stars and now I see why Tesla recommends them for charger installation.

They've always been affordable, professional and efficient in their services. This past time we had them out, our washer died and we think it's from a power surge we had from a downed power line about 2 weeks ago. I was able to get a electrician out the next morning who not only replaced two outlets, but also checked on a few other issues around the house while he was here. He went above and beyond with the service call, and didn't try to oversell us on services. He did mention their protection plan, but we opted out since it's so sporadic that we need them here it wasn't worth the $12.95 a month. (We find this very affordable!) Overall they're a great company and the staff is pleasant overall. Will use them again for small projects around the house.
