The best part was the comedian, who we traveled over 2 hrs from home to come see. Seats are kind of worn out with old gum stuck to them. It was impossible to reserve two seats further down closer to the stage because someone had left three seats and the site wouldn't allow me to purchase two seats and leave the third for someone else to buy. Still angry about that. Unless we're coming to see someone like Gary Meikle, we'd never come back here.

Had some free passes for my birthday and was excited to see that AGT's Mike E. Winfield was there this weekend! So I immediately booked for date night with the hubs. Of course I got front row tickets to see him. And he didn't disappoint! Had us laughing the entire time. Good stuff. Sure hope he wins AGT. Side Splitters is located inside the Grove theater. They have a bar with full service where you check in and order food and drinks. The show is in theater 7 where they have a stage setup. Staff was super friendly and they escorted us to our seats. We arrived early so we sat at the bar before heading into the theater. We got an order of onion rings and corn dog nuggets along with a bucket of booze. The corn dog nuggets were delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of the onion rings. We actually preferred this location over the one on Dale Mabry. Be sure to sign up for their fan club so you can get tickets on your birthday and find out about all the upcoming shows and deals

Have been going to Side Splitters for a long time so I thought it would be awesome to try the new location. Walking up to the box office/bar I was a little surprised. From a distance it looked like a cool bar but up close it was pretty basic. Nothing fancy. Got my tix and a drink and headed to the theater. The venue is a movie theater. The only thing different is they added a small stage for the performer. Comics were great but the venue was odd. It would be great if this location renovated this room to better suit the mood for a comedy club. Just felt like a movie theater. No vibe. Not sure if I'll return to this location. The Tampa venue is way better.

The B&B Theaters are a great venue for this type of show. The seats were very comfortable.

I guess other side splitter locations have a 2 drink minimum.

You also get half off popcorn on Tuesdays. Free same day refills for popcorn and soda. I came to see Obsession. Bought my ticket ahead of time. The theater was small for this movie but I think that's because the movie has been out for a bit. The seats were reclining and leather and heated! So cool! I brought my blanket but the theater was comfortable and not too chilly. Will definitely be back for movies and events! Also, hopefully they add craft movie night back to the events. Always wanted to go but didn't live in the area when they had them.

The cleanliness was really disappointing. The family restroom had paper towels stuffed in the toilet and urine all over the floor in front of it. The women's restroom wasn't much better, with urine on the floor and an overall lack of cleanliness. My husband said the men's restroom was in rough shape too. The issues didn't stop there. The popcorn was burnt, and the cup holders in the marquee seating were missing the inserts, so our drink cups wouldn't even fit properly. When I'm paying around $40 for tickets, I expect a much better experience. Honestly, after seeing the condition of the restrooms, I'm glad we didn't order dinner because it made me question what the kitchen looks like based on the bathroom condition. Really disappointing experience, and unfortunately we won't be coming back anytime soon.

I only had a coffee in an attempt to meet my two drink minimum but it of course was diner-esque coffee. Nothing special so I didn't have another and we were full from dinner so didn't purchase anything else. $3 for each "two item minimum" was added to the tab (it's two item min per person so $6 charge if you bought nothin). I don't mind that because the venue and staff gotta get their bread. I think that's fair especially for the price of the tickets (affordable). Would definitely come back it's just far from me!

The exhibit is setup through a loading dock in the back, but it was really well done, and the setup was really appropriate for the display. If you are a Banksy fan, I recommend going before the exhibit leaves. The last day is September 27, 2026. We spent over an hour looking at the large samplings of his work. It was easy to buy tickets online and there was no issue using our QRcode to get admitted. The event was crowded but we were able to take all the time we wanted to see the exhibit and they had a nice merch selection at the end. The only thing was finding parking ahead of time. Since we went during the day, the parking for the center wasn't directly available. I ended up using the ParkWhiz app to find parking a block or two away, which worked out well. I'd definitely go to another event at this center, as it was easy to get in and out of the area and if you have more time, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's not far from river walk or other museum/art destinations.
