I wanted a drink. On the menú it said $7. When I asked to pay- they hestiated and so I pulled up the menú to say it was $7. When I did -they said oh okay. I had to get the bartender to get my change back. They charged me $8.50 anyway cus of whatever reason but NEVER communicate with me about the price change. So I said then "update your menu on drinks prices" So I waited for my change back but NO ONE communicate with me after that and she kept my change. When I called her out- I told her to keep the change. Never again coming back. Do not fuck with people's money like that. It's all about commutation & trust. Like come on! So sad. read more

We were here for early cocktails and the place was deserted. Service was great and we were greeted immediately with waters being delivered to the table. One of our party asked for a virgin Cruel Summer and somehow the bartender pulled it off. Not sure how that was done without the infused vodka but it tasted great! We also ordered the Wedding Crasher (non-virgin) and it was great. I was a bit worried about the "rose infused spirits" but it was very, very subtle. I would order it again. To round out our cocktail hour, our third ordered a Seabreeze. It was a LOT more grapefruit juice than cranberry but it was still refreshing. (I mean it didn't have a hint of cranberry color in it.) We also munched on the hummus. I loved that it was on a smear of chipotle. The pita triangles that came with it were soft and delicious. I would order it again. Bartenders changed while we were there and the new guy checked on us a couple of times but was a bit hard to find (but we also weren't ordering any more drinks.) I would definitely make it back in to enjoy the upper deck and try more on the menu. read more

I don't want to make this review. Sidecar is such a fantastic bar that I don't want it to become popular. But this is the best wine/cocktail lounge in all of South Tulsa. The staff, drinks, and bar food are all excellent! The rooftop patio is our favorite spot in Jenks. We love to get a cocktail and hang out around the fire. A few months back, I reviewed the Tulsa location after multiple bad experiences. However, I recently discovered the secondary location so I decided to give it a shot. Same. Dreadful. Experience. Went for the first time last night. I had read some reviews before and I can agree that the live music was just WAY too loud for the size of the place. The music was excellent but it made it incredibly difficult for converse with the people I was with. Cool drink concoctions, decent prices, good apps. What I did not like was the doushy attitude of the ginger-esq bar tender with black framed glasses. New to Tulsa and just wanted to check things out since it's across the street from my house so I hopped in solo on a Tuesday night. Bartender who was African American and with braids acted like he was put out just to take my drink order and acting super snobby. I felt extremely unwelcome...the wine I ordered was about 3 ounces, seriously one inch of wine...not sure if that's how they serve it, if they were low on wine or if it was meant to make me leave as I was already feeling like I was not welcome. Maybe he felt I was not worth the trouble since I was one person. Either way it wasn't good. After plopping they wine down with nothing but a sour look I suddenly was feeling self conscious about myself and stupid for being there. It doesn't take any effort to say: "Hi welcome in" and "Enjoy your wine, let me know if you need anything .." Got the feeling I wasn't wanted so left. Too bad..I would have been a fantastic regular customer since it's across from my house but won't be back. Bad vibes all around. And just to check yourself Sidecar Barley..this is JENKS OKLAHOMA . I love this place! There really isn't anything else like this in Jenks, we don't really have any other "cocktail" bars. That being said, they are definitely setting the standard here, every cocktail I've tried has been delightful! I haven't tried much of the food, but the hummus and chicken caprese sandwich are amazing, I have even ordered them for pick-up several times. The bartenders are welcoming and professional, but personable, as a bartender should be! I have brought friends here and we always have such a great time. I've been there twice and every spot open at the bar was dirty. The bartender was busy cleaning what looked like a bowl and didn't bother greeting me. The menu is sparse. Then a regular started harassing me as I was just trying to finish my lunch. The weirdest thing was that the bartender demanded my card upfront and kept it, then when I asked for my tab she just ran my card without my permission and made a big deal out of how it wasn't going through when I was going to pay cash. It is SO loud; I've brought two different friends here during the live music nights who couldn't handle how distracting it was. Background music is totally fine! Even in cold weather they have a long fireplace stretching across the patio so you could enjoy yourself. If I could've given 0 stars, I would have. I was there and had an EXTREMELY uncomfortable interaction with Mel I think his name was? (Short African American guy with glasses) He made me, and the other people I was with, feel so uncomfortable the whole entire time I was there, so much so that I got up and left. I know he was making other people feel the same way by the looks on their faces.. I would not recommend this place to anyone as long as he's an employee there. He's the type of guy that makes women feel uncomfortable at a bar and it is 2022. That's unacceptable. read more
