The Starlite is such a fun little place!! It has such a nice energy and it's just adorable. Majda (not sure if I spelled that correctly!) was AMAZING. She made my 21st birthday so much fun and was so sweet and a great bartender. She made myself and 4 of my friends + my boyfriend some really good drinks and even got creative and made some up on the spot. She was so fun and friendly. They had a frozen pumpkin spice coffee that was super delicious. We went on comedy night and they had some great acts! They have a great selection of beers, including Sapporo, which is super cool and rare for bars in Tulsa to carry. I will definitely be back! read more

We went to this bar on a whim and we had such a great time! It is cozy inside and is complete with a stage and a jukebox- old school and digital. The bartender was super nice. They sell local beer as well as other other options. I ordered a lavender cocktail and it was awesome. While we were there Afistaface, a local dj, came in and set up. She was awesome! The place is pretty clean and seems to get pretty hoppin on Saturdays. read more

one of my favorite places to hang with friends. the open patio is nice to get some sun and catch up, and the inside is a complete vibe with the labyrinth pinball machine. bartenders are always friendly and attentive and it's never overwhelming loud inside so no screaming back and forth about drink orders. they have a small stage that is used for shows, i believe. ill come check that out sometime. love, LOOOVE this place. read more

Don't sleep on the starlite which is amazing. This cute little bar is easy to miss because of its location and small size, but it is packed with fun people and lots of amazing events each night. I personally am a huge fan of karaoke on Tuesdays, and it's hard trivia that they have on Wednesday nights. People are super accepting and the bartenders are as nice as could be. Super shout out to Lynn, the owner, who has a contagious laugh that is absolutely amazing and Eric, my favorite bartender. This is a super fun bar and people from all backgrounds will totally find their place here between the great drinks, jukebox and the dance floor/comedy nights. Starlite bar is recently one of my go to favorite hangout spots. They have a great atmosphere - divy but clean - and people that come here are friendly and nice to be around. Their drinks are reasonably priced, and they have events throughout the month ranging from karaoke every Tuesday, to game show night, and DJ/dance parties. Although the main space isn't very large, they recently fixed up the side room for larger events which more than doubles the capacity, and there's also a second bar in that area. The outdoor patio is ample for smokers or those wanting to imbibe outside in nice weather. The bartenders are quick and friendly and the music is always great. This is absolutely the best bar in Tulsa. Great prices on all drinks, including cocktails. On the subject of cocktails, the owner Lynn is a genius mixologist - prize winning in fact. Try the namesake cocktail, The Starlite, for starters, or order one of their other specialty drinks, or go with one of the classics. No matter what, you won't be disappointed. The music playing there is fantastic as well. There are two rooms; when you walk in you are in a neighborhood bar, but on weekends the dance club section is open as well. Rarely is there a cover. On dance nights you're just as likely to hear Depeche Mode or The Cure as anything. All this makes The Starlite a wonderful place, but what puts it at the top is the human element. Everyone is welcome, other than people who have a problem with welcoming everyone. Diversity isn't just a slogan there, it's the heart of the place. You will find people of all ages, races, gender identity, etc. Every bartender there is fun to talk to, and they know their stuff too, and the owners Rob and Lynn are two of the most wonderful people I know. This is a cute little bar tucked away on 11th street and freshly redone to be cute and intimate! Tuesday nights are karaoke nights, and the rest are just amazing. Absolutely love this place! It's so nice to have another non-smoking option in Tulsa. They have some great quality drinks for reasonable prices... clean bathrooms... plenty of seating and a stage for some small acts or for their weekly events like karaoke and trivia. I was really impressed with the vibe of this place. For a 'speakeasy' vibe, this was very laid back and comfortable. I feel like I could go there wearing just about anything and feel at home. Definitely a great place to go have some drinks with friends! We've been a few times and we love it. It opened a few months ago, it's clean inside and the bathrooms are fine. There are some booths, some tables, a jukebox and a small stage (they do Tuesday karaoke nights that are packed, plus an occasional DJ playing retro/80s music). The owners are longtime veterans of the Tulsa nightlife scene so the service is great and the bartenders know exactly what they're doing when you order a cocktail. It's non-smoking, free parking on the street, there's a fenced patio outside and a laid-back fun vibe inside. read more

The Starlite is everything a bar should be, but that most bars are not. You should go, and go often. It has a great vibe--it's cozy and unpretentious. The best part of the place is the people though. To say the very least, everyone there is welcoming and friendly. The purveyors of the establishment are witty, attractive, and charming, and the staff will also laugh at your jokes, even when they're not funny. One more thing!
