Sidecar is one of our favorite date spots, lunch or dinner. We are especially fond of many of the masters of mixology behind the bar who we knew from other establishments like Fluid. We can always know that if we are consistently looking for a good cocktail, I mean a real drink, not just some rum and coke, that Sidecar won't disappoint. I would always recommend whatever the drink of the week is and asking anyone behind the bar what they would recommend or if they are mixing up some new concoction you could try! Currently sitting at the bar. Service started off well. Immediately greeted and given a menu. Food was good drinks were great. Only 11pm at the bar and they are serving until 2am. My drink has been empty for at least 30 minutes and no one has checked on me, bartenders are talking by the tv and walking by at a distance, not even making eye contact. I bartend in town and find this so irritating. I want to order another drink but haven't had the chance. We arrived around 810 on a Sunday night. The kitchen closes at 9pm on Sunday. We were put on a waitlist and told we were third in line. Waited 30 minutes. Host and wait staff, including bartender knew that we were waiting for a table. At around that 30 minute mark, four tables open up, pretty much at the same time. No one cleans them. No one gives us a heads up as what's going on. After I finally get someone to make eye contact with me and acknowledged again, I was told the kitchen has closed and we can't sit or order food. Never been so frustrated in my life. If they had just been upfront, let us know that the Kitchen was going to close and we should find another restaurant, I wouldn't have had a problem. But as a customer I shouldn't have to track down a staff member. if I wouldn't have asked, we probably would still would've been waiting Until 9 o'clock, because no one made an effort to address us. read more

We decided to give this place a try based on the great reviews and we are disappointed. First, everyone that works there seemed like they didn't want to be there. The pizza is also quite good and they have a number of interesting combinations you can order as well as your standards such as my favorite quatro formaggi. My friend and I went here for lunch today. We ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza to share. The pizza was $19 and very small. It was not enough for two. My side salad was $6! Which was not the price advertised on the menu. It was just a small bowl of spring mix. The service was great; no issues. The pizza tasted good, but there was very little chicken so I don't see where $19 comes from. Pretty disappointed. Very overpriced. We ended up going to the BBQ place after because we were still starving. There's better places downtown, and better places for pizza in Gville. read more

I tried Sidecar with a few friends on a Saturday night. It was easy to get a table, but exceptionally difficult to get service. Our waitress took drink orders and my cocktail didn't come until after my food despite asking for it numerous times. My food was alright, but it also took 45 minutes to arrive.
