I have been in when they were doing good and had both bad and good experiences. Worst was my husband's birthday dinner. They served a rotten steak, literally putrid and all they offered was a free beer. They did not take it off the receipt and we didn't go back and told everyone about the experience. 10 years later they have the fullest house on the daily. This place is truly a great little sports bar, perfect for dining with family or a Friday night with the boys. I went here looking to keep it cheap but delicious and I was very pleased with their variety of menu items. I got the 8oz New York strip steak with a baked potato and grilled asparagus. The steak was amazing and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My potato was soft and buttery but a few of the grilled asparagus had uneatable ends that I had to spit out. My friend ordered a cheesesteak sandwich which states on the menu "now with double meat" the sandwich came and there was hardly any meat at all, which the server acknowledged and agreed and told the manager. She came over and was very rude and said it was fine and dismissed us. The food was awful and there was a hair in another meal. I will never go back again. When I went to the bathroom it was a mess along with the nasty kitchen. If upper management knew what was going on there they hopefully would be shocked. Then they screwed up the bill luckly I caught it, then they stuck in another 2 dollars for some extra pasta sauce like its our fault it was dry. Why do restaurant staff have an attitude when you walk in like you shouldn't be there? They act like they are so inconvenienced that customers walked in the door and they have to get up and do some work. This has happened the last two times I've been here. I've had a good waiter twice, but the waitresses seem to be the ones with the terrible attitude. It's like the hostess and the waitresses are in some sort of high school clique where it's then against the customers. They give you side eye looks and fake smiles when you walk by like you passed them in the hallway in school and you aren't part of their friend group. Anyways, very odd. Honestly I can't believe our experience here it feels like a fever dream. We waited over 40 minutes for a table after watching handfuls of tables empty out. We had 6 in our party but there was plenty of space for us. Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive. I ordered a salad and a biscuit. The biscuit was terrible, dry, chewy and they were trying to charge almost $5 for it. Excuse me, $5 for a biscuit? The server was never apologetic about the wait until the very end as we were signing the checks, saying he was "just the medium." The food was fine. I will never go back. read more

I come into here quite often for lunch and the food and service is always good. This is also a great place for watching any sporting event. The recent bar and outside expansion has made hanging here even better. Signature drinks are also always good. Parking can be an issue, so a walk may be necessary but worth it. read more

First off, I'd like the preface this by saying we have been very loyal customers for the last six years and the service has been steadily going down hill. My one year old daughter and I met some friends for dinner there tonight. The waitress had served our dinner and we asked for refills on our drinks. She accidentally dropped a glass full of sweet tea on the table in front of my friend, myself and my daughter at the end of the table. The glass shattered all over the place in front of us and in our food. Tea all over myself and my daughter. The waitress then proceeded to slowly pick up pieces of glass. Once she felt like the glass was gone. She walked away. We had to wipe up the tea, ice and remaining glass ourselves. No one came to clean the table or wipe it down. One other server did at least bring extra napkins. Ten minutes later she came back and we had to request our food be remade as we didn't know where the glass actually ended up. We get our food and asked for boxes. The waitress came back with our checks. We assumed that she discounted us due to the whole debacle. She took our cards and came back saying my friends check was wrong but mine was right. So they got the right check and she charges our cards. She comes back with the copies to sign and she charged me $15 more than the bill she gave me. On top of that they charged me more than the menu price for my appetizer. We asked for the manager and explained that you can't say this is what you owe and then charge a card for a totally different price. He kept getting more and more aggressive and agitated and could not at least see our point how it was misleading. Whether she made a mistake or not she needed to communicate that to us. I also pointed out the price difference for the appetizer and he said well good for you for catching that...I will give you a dollar back. The man kept getting in my face. I am eight months pregnant holding my one year old trying to leave and said to him repeatedly that I was done discussing it and to please leave me alone so we could leave. He kept edging closer and wouldn't back off. My friends husband got upset by this and asked him to move away from me. He didn't and continued to get in my face. Friends husband said you need to leave and step back from her. He said this is my restaurant I don't have to go anywhere. YOU need to leave. We exit and he follows us out either taking pictures or filming us, not sure. This is the worst experience I have ever had and we will NEVER go back to this establishment. read more

When we were arrived we were "greeted" by a very young brunette hostess who literally didn't look at us, talk to us, or even smile at us. How did she know how many people were in our party? The hostess is the patrons first impression of your establishment and they should be friendly and outgoing. Sidelines would do themselves a favor and get rid of theirs. Our waitress on the other hand was very friendly. We got fried green beans which were pretty good. I got a chicken fajita wrap which was not bad but could have used better tomatoes and lettuce- they taste off. My husband got mango habanero wings- he said they weren't hot at all and they were badly overbooked. For dessert we got a piece of raspberry white chocolate mousse cake. AMAZING! So we went to sidelines last night to watch the game. I honestly like the way they have remodeled the place. Service was okay nothing to complain about or be wowed about. My wife and I just moved to the area. Last night, we decided to give local business a boost and tried out Sidelines Grille. Our server was incredibly friendly and interacted with our 2 year old daughter. That's always a plus! The food was phenominal! I got a Reuben Sandwich with "Redneck Popcorn" (fried okra) and my wife got the combo appetizer. We shared each other's to get a good feel for what they had to offer. We passed up on dessert last night because with just those two meals, we were stuffed! The price was extremely fair and the owner himself popped by our table to check with us. Funny story, when I was a server at Provino's in Canton, Steve, the owner of Sidelines Grille, and his wife used to come in and request my section. He remembered me even after 5 years of not seeing me at Provino's! We'll certainly be back, because while still a bar, it's family-friendly enough for us to bring our daughter to for a reasonably priced, excellent dinner! read more
