This is definitely a local hangout that the entire community loves- it was fun being strangers in their midst's. The waitress was very friendly and so helpful, checking in on us often for coffee refills. The menu is pretty standard diner fare although I was jealous of how good the French toast looked coming out. I ordered a sourdough sandwich with sausage and it was a solid breakfast. Staff was efficient, not overly friendly. Place is small, counted 11 tables, but clean. Nice menu, your basic breakfast items. Coffee was a bit strong, but good. Background music was on a good volume, not too loud. People talking were too loud in general, which is nice. Appropriate wait time for our food. I ordered a Denver omelet. Funny, diced green peppers were sautéed nicely, onions were more al dente, which l did not care for. Bacon was perfectly crispy, did not crumble when l bit it. Hash browns were disappointing, quite soggy, barely browned. Lots of tchotchke for sale, key rings, etc., but it made for interesting things to look at. LOTS OF GNOMES! Haha! Very small and quaint. Pricing is fair and food is good. Service is fair. I pop in time to time to see if it's gotten better, but it stays pretty much the same over the years. The service is ok and they're very friendly. Pet peeve is waiting on things like drink refills or silverware or having to ask for them by flagging someone over. Stopped by for breakfast after being offered a disgusting breakfast at the hotel we're staying at and was happy with our choice. This place was good! When we went the place was packed and the ladies working were really hustling. I got the stuffed french toast with hash browns and I was very impressed. The cream in the center wasn't too sweet and the fruit was fresh. The only downfall is the prices are a bit expensive for what you get and the area, they also nickel and dime you (cheese was $.75, etc.) for extras and the side orders are way too expensive but I think that's the only way they stay profitable. Overall a breakfast for two was around $30 with tip and I think $23 would have been a much fairer price. read more

Did a search for someplace to eat while my super hot wife and I spent the day at Lake Michigan. I am happy to have found this gem... friendly and competent staff and good solid food with ample portions... My farmer's omelet was good ( slightly under seasoned in my opinion, but a dash of pepper fixed that issue) My wife had French toast... I didn't really care for the Bite I stole... that's right, I stole a bite from her plate and there's nothing you can do about it, but she liked it, so that's what matters. My wife caught a glimpse of a sign on the refrigerator that said "let go and let God ", And that means a lot to me :-) give this place a try, you will not walk away unhappy read more

I went here for breakfast with the family today for the first time. Their train wreck is to die for. Their chorizo wrap was delicious. Great Food, Great Service, Great People. Only negatives are limited tables and no outside dining. We will be back! Pro Tip: ask for Wi-Fi password since cellular reception in the Paw Paw Lake area is spotty. read more

This quaint hometown Restaurant is our favorite place for a good meal. Everyone is friendly, the service is great and the food is fantastic! FYI, the mini Denver omelet is the BEST! Opened daily until 2pm. Locally owned and operated. They make you feel like family!!! They even have a new system where they enter your order at the table and it sends it straight to the kitchen. It cuts down the wait time and is so efficient! Had our food within 15 minutes of ordering and paid at the table within seconds. I definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area. read more

Inside your step back in time just a bit, definitely a local townie cafe....small bar stool spot... Few old school booths...few faded train pictures on the wall. I absolutely love this place they have great breakfast and reminds me of home and very homey and comfy they always make you feel welcome with a nice cup of coffee and there open till 2:00pm everyday me and my family go there every once and a while if you happen to see this place I vote you go there and order some breakfast my personal favorite is the corn beef hash. read more
