Amazing service! We stopped by here on Sunday at about 12:40 and they close their restaurant at 1pm on Sundays. I did not even think that they would seat us but we got the red carpet treatment. I like to support all the local restaurants in my area but this particular restaurant has a worse service the food was horrible nasty horrible and it was so overpriced I ordered two eggs and gravy actually it was sausage gravy but they wanted me to pay extra for the sausage who does that who makes you pay extra for sausage when you order sausage and gravy anyways I would not recommend this place I advise everyone not to eat here I advise everyone to go to a different place to eat their breakfast or lunch because it will be treated with disrespect and it will be fed and some of the worst Food you've ever eaten in your life out of five stars I have to give them minus five and then charge $2 for your credit card and try to blame it all off on that no some places do charge the extra $2 but you don't turn around and blame your bad food and your bad service on the $2 charge on your card me and my grandson $31 31 $32 after the change Plus $2 I recommend no one go to this place it was a horrible experience and I eat at a lot of places in my area all of Berrien County Michigan this was the worst and I tell her I hope you take heed of what I say so you don't waste your money and learn from my mistake read more

The place is located in a small town, it looks like their downtown area. The build sits almost on the corner but not quite. It has a big roaster on top of their building so you can't miss them. We order breakfast to go. When walking in you go through two doors and you enter a cozy establishment, looks like someone home. They have around 6-7 tables and the kitchen is in the back. The waitress was really sweet and had my order ready to go. The food was ok, the grits needed some more love and the pancakes was ok not bad just ok. My eggs and bacon was good. Cup of to go orange juice can be a little bit bigger, other then that it was a nice experience to try this little place out. read more

I have been a regular here since this place opened up. It's small town country style breakfast that has been consistently good - but nothing exceptional which is all that I expect from a value-based restaurant. Service has always been better than the food in my opinion so hats off to the ladies who work there. But after my last experience, I won't be returning. The food has gone down significantly. My breakfast was overly greasy with hashbrowns that were significantly undercooked. Add to that - they now have Fox News blasting on their big screen TV and I prefer to put politics aside when dining out and I for one don't want to hear that crap when I'm trying to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. read more

I have been here a handful of times now and I love it so far. The staff and owner are super nice, attentive and funny. It has always seemed like I was at a family member's house for dinner not a restaurant. The restaurant is clean with a charming decor of Notre Dame and poor Michigan. It is a small but quaint place and the quality of the product shows. The food is fresh, tasty and no bad in price. In the times I've been there, I've had a variety of food. The best so far is I believe Saturday and Sundays steak and egg breakfast for $9.95. I have also had or tried the lasagna, fish, hamburger and the biscuits and gravy. All have been great. Super cute little diner in Coloma, MI. The food is "just-like-grandma-used-to-make" amazing, and the staff is wonderful! My husband, son, and I, along with my brother decided to grab a quick bite here before heading over to the beach in South Haven, and it was totally worth it. The food is fresh and delicious, full of flavor, and they have an extensive menu with selections to satisfy anyone's tastebuds. We walked in and were seated immediately, and the kind waitress got our drink order -- coffee, orange juice, and water. The coffee was exceptionally good, and I mean it's the best coffee I've ever had in a diner good. For breakfast we ordered the following: Veggie omelet with hashbrowns and wheat toast; eggs over medium with bacon, hashbrowns and raisin toast (yes, you read that right! RAISIN TOAST!!! Why don't more places serve raisin toast?); and pancakes. Everything came out quickly and was hot off the grill! Each item was delicious and little man was all over the pancakes (which made mama happy). Each of us finished all our food -- so either the food was delicious, or we were really hungry... or perhaps both. First time coming here and the food was not seasoned and underwhelming. We ordered the steak and eggs (over easy eggs and steak medium rare) with home fries and eggs (scrambled with cheese), bacon, and home fries with a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. The steak was over cooked, no seasoning and as my boyfriend put it "might as well have been beef jerky". His over easy egg was cooked well. Both batches of our home fries were over cooked (very dark brown and dried out), lacked any seasoning. My scrambled eggs looked like the cheese was added as an after thought and wasn't really melted though well. The bacon was a bit over cooked and too crispy for my taste. Definitely lost any bacon flavor at the point it was cooked. Waffle was cooked well, ok amount of whipped cream added and the knife cuts on the strawberries weren't very uniform. Staff was friendly. Overall this place could use some work in the chef learning to season the food and I think it'll be better. read more

This place is seriously so great! It was our first time in, traveling here from St. Louis. Service was great and accurate. I went in with my mom on a Tuesday morning and sat right down at cute little corner table. The food was also great! Between the two of us we had a waffle, biscuits and gravy, hash brown, eggs, toast and bacon (don't judge). Everything was hot and fresh! Our waitress was really quick and sweet. We like to support local businesses & have always been fans of this little breakfast spot. I understand everyone is doing their best during these times, but I feel like some things have changed. I think they've changed some of the product they buy. The syrup is very thin, and flavorless. The link sausage also seems to have very little flavor. These are important things not to skimp on at a 'breakfast' spot. This is just based on what I ordered so I'm hoping not much more has changed. The younger waitress, (first time she's served us) was not at all friendly & cheerful like our usual waitress, (the older woman who always smiles). I'm hoping our next visit will be full of flavor, as we won't give up supporting the 'Mom & Pop' places. And smile, remember your customers are going through all this 'stuff' too. read more

This spot took over another breakfast/lunch restaurant but it looks as if the place has been freshened up a bit. We walked in 5 minutes before closing time (not knowing that) and were greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile and a happy server eager to take our order. We apologized for walking in so close to the end of their day but they had no problem at all taking our order for a table of four. That attitude alone impressed me. We had a variety of breakfast and lunch items, everything was tasty. One of the egg breakfasts had a broken yolk and the owner came out with two perfectly fried eggs to replace them. My cheeseburger was delicious and the fries were light and crispy. The menu looks identical to the predecessor and they still stay open later on Friday for their fish fry. We usually stop at Cracker Barrel on our way to Chicago but saw this place on our map on the way and decided to try it. We are so glad we did. It was not too far off of I94 and had a great atmosphere. Many "regulars" bringing their own coffee cup and lots of friendly talk. The food was great. I think we all could eat just a plate full of the potatoes. They were cooked just right. Eggs too. I am never getting them the way my husband likes them and he said the cook was right on.
