I placed an order with this establishment online on 6/22/22; it is currently 7/11/22 and my order has not shipped. I've sent three emails and made two phone calls. My first email (7 days after placing the order) was replied to saying "they would do their best to ship my order that day". When that didn't happen I called on 7/1/22; someone answered and said the same thing- "they'd do their best to ship it today" as i mentioned today is 7/11/22, and My order still hasn't shipped and no further correspondence has come. Delays are understandable; this is bad business. This item was supposed to be a gift and at this point is nothing but a frustration.If my items ever ship I'll gladly update my review. Their selection of whiskey is excellent, but their customer support is basically non-existent. They messed up my order and did not ship all 3 bottles that I paid for; two were received. Initially I was able to provide photos so they could see the box could only fit 2 bottles and they were communicating that it was being resolved...but then crickets since late October!!! This is a review of their online store - I can't speak to the physical location. They have an amazing online selection and I ordered four bottles gin from them back in 2022 with no problem - it took a few weeks for it to get here, but I live across the country and they're a small business, so I thought nothing of it. Fast-forward to last year and I place another order. Two weeks goes by, I get a delivery notice indicating that my delivery has shipped with all four bottle in one box. A few days later my box shows up looking a little smaller and lighter than it should for four bottles of gin - that's because there's only two bottles in it. There was also no packing slip in the box indicating what was supposed to be inside it, just the two bottles. I sent an email - email is bounced back immediately indicating "Your message wasn't delivered to support@sidewalkspirits.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail". I let a few days go by in case it's going to show up in a second delivery. I used the online contact form and let another week go by - nothing. I call the number on their website - some automated message (that doesn't even indicate their name or if I've called the right number) fires off and I leave a message. Still nothing. I have spent the last year trying to call, email and submit to their website's online contact form with no response. They have an amazing selection and decent prices, but if anything goes wrong with your order, you're probably out of luck. read more

They may talk a good line and advertise fair prices, but their service is beyond crappy. Ordered on Oct 6 expected delivery on Oct 12. Contacted on Oct 21 and asked where the order was, and it got cancelled after paid via PayPal and paid for delivery guarantee. Obviously, the guarantee does not work. Customer service did apologies saying they were busy. But two weeks' worth of busy???? and not a single email or communications???? Next email, minutes later, was cancellation of the order. Not too busy to cancel the order within minutes.... LOL. Don't use these guys, they make promises they don't keep. Local prices are very close to theirs too and you don't pay shipping or delivery guarantee which is worthless if they cancel the order!!! read more

Sidewalk Spirits called my name because they have craft beer! Which it's quite a better selection of local beer compared to Bevmo. They are decently priced and carry 6 packs of craft beer as well as single bottles. I was happy that they had some of my regulars like the Duchess and Booze Brothers. My friend told me that they will carry a beer if you request it and they can get it stocked. Pretty cool on the customer service side! I wish they had more sours. I crave Farm To Barrel and was looking for something comparable but couldn't find it. I like that most of the beer is refrigerated. Good stop if you need a quick buy! read more

Did an online order that was over a week with no movement. Luckily I ordered through PayPal and was easily able to request a refund. Then, after the returned my funds they sent a sly comment about their lack of customer service. Maybe good to visit in person, highly recommend to not place an online order. read more

I was very upset today when I stopped by to purchase some items and the cashier was not wearing a mask. My son is very ill and My family has to be extremely careful what we do so that he is not exposed. Not following this mandatory guideline can not only earn you a big fine, but is a huge middle finger to your customers, who you obviously don't care about. I called to see if they had a beer brand in stock and the guy was quick to find out and was friendly when handling my question. I also verified that they do not charge a fee for using a debit card, which is a plus. I went over to get the item and I will be back when needed.
