I always get the Cypress skillet with overeasy eggs. They are great at accommodating allergies if you mention them, so for me they use oil for the hash browns rather than butter because of my dairy allergy. They do breakfast and lunch classics in the bustling office area of Cypress Waters. They do all the favorites like omelettes, salads, burgers and sandwiches. They did have one of my favorite sandwiches of all time, which is the Monte Cristo. Turkey, ham and cheese between two Texas sized slices of French toast and finished with a coating of light powdered sugar (the sugar was not overwhelming, and complemented the sweetness of the French toast without being too sweet). The hostess was the most energetic and sweetest girl ever!!!! I called ahead as the original place we were going to eat was a 30 min wait. It took us 5 min to hop on over and they already set up our table! Ty do breakfast and lunch all day and literally everything in the menu sounded amazing. I ordered the Siena Benedict, my boyfriend got a ham and cheese omelette, with a side of French toast and grits, and his daughter got the chicken and waffles. All told, I enjoyed my meal the most: every aspect of the poached egg, spinach, tomato, avocado, hollandaise sauce was on point. Searching for restaurants via Yelp nearby my hotel, I was surprised that I had not had Siena Cafe bookmarked being that there are a lack of restaurants within a radius of the Dallas - Fort Worth airport area. I took an interest in ordering at Siena after seeing pictures of the 'country fried chicken' and at the time thinking to myself "mm, that looks so good!". The rest is history because after that I just had to have it! There were some tasty looking breakfast items featured on their menu that nearly caused me to re-think ordering the country fried chicken, so I ordered it immediately! Two of those items were the 'biscuits and gravy', and the 'chicken and waffles'. Oh my God! The 'chicken and waffles' nearly had me weak after I came across a picture of it drenched in syrup! Yum! And on another note, I was recommended by fellow Yelper, Houston native Helene S that I try texmex which is featured and currently on my radar as food known to Texas, but today just was not the day to try it. I got all giddy-like once Yelp notified me that my order via Grubhub was out for delivery. It took a total of 30 minutes from the time my order was confirmed by Siena to the arrival of it at my hotel which is very acceptable. And as expected, the food did not disappoint: the smell was wonderful and its taste was satisfying. My family and I had a late breakfast / lunch today and it was a fantastic experience. We got the reservation a couple weeks ahead of time so we came right in and were seated. Our server was right off the back was great. She was quick, responsive and personable and made our experience here so much better. I ended up going with the tuna melt as I have been in a craving for those lately and it was a pretty great choice. The sandwich was packed full and on the side, the server through in a couple extra pancakes that were made accidentally. The prices here were pretty fair and for a filling, good quality sit down breakfast / lunch it was less than $20 for the meal. So a great breakfast and brunch place in Coppell finally!!! Well, they have been open for over 2 years but I recently discovered the place. Casual atmosphere with great service. Their brunch portions are generous and the food tasted amazing. Their pancakes are a highlight - do ask for the blackberry & strawberry pancake.... its not on their menu. My lady ordered the protein wrap w/ fruit & a banana walnut waffle & I got the classic benedict w/ hashbrowns. We chatted it up waiting on our food to come....about 15 mins...I think LOL.....food came....looked good....photos taken...blessing said...leg'o!!! My girl separated her wrap & the waitress had entered in for a lunch turkey wrap...my girl specifically told her the protein wrap with turkey bacon & turkey sausage...the waitress tried to convince us the way it was listed on the menu, all those items were separate....GIRL BYE!! So, we made it clear again what she wanted & the waitress went back to get it corrected....which the wrap came out pretty quickly. Now we eat.....the hollandaise sauce for the benedict needed something...it was TOO lemony....the poached egg was a dayum boiled egg & the Canadian ham was like eating beef jerky.....the hashbrowns must have jumped out the pan before they could put some seasoning them....cuz it dayum sholl wasn't any on 'em..the waffle had a good flavor & is definitely enough for 2 ppl....the protein wrap had uncooked spinach & no flavor....probably jumped out the pan with the hashbrowns ....I told my lady the next time we head that way to go here....we'll keep driving into Coppell for other eateries!! Breakfast is delicious, I had the two-egg combo with over-medium eggs. the hash browns were crispy and delicious, just how I like them.
