The Doctor and nurse that was working that emergency room is a great asset to the hospital. There was another patient in the same room that had a male nurse and he was pretty rude to his patient who was an elderly woman that had taken a fall. I'm just glad he wasn't the assigned nurse for me. Overall experience for me was an A rating! Thank you for taking good care of me while I was there.

The Dr. sold it to me saying the recovery time is faster while she didn't mention as I would be informed by the Anesthesiologist, that some woman have gone blind from this surgery.I didn't do my homework about this Robotic procedure. After 3 days into my recovery my bladder burst open.I went to Renown a trauma hospital which I highly recommend in Reno Nevada. One of the lasers nicked my bladder and I was stitched up. 4 Years later my bladder burst open again. It turned out that a piece of the robot had been left in my body. The O.R. Nurse was blamed for the incident. My message is this: PLEASE KNOW YOUR HOSPITALS,Do your homework regarding your surgery's.Get a second opinion.And choose to be cut open slowly with a scalpel. Anything robotic is insanity!My message to Barton Hospital please only handle sprains and breaks. Please send all patients to Renown or Saint Mary's in Reno. I almost lost my life twice because I foolishly believed the title Dr. The infection caused me cirrhosis of the liver which I recovered from. I also had several teeth that needed implants. THEN I call back and they tell me they don't take calls until 10 am. SO... I heard nurses and techs being catty after walking away from a patient's room. I heard them yelling from the nurse's station to "be quiet". I hears them laughing loudly. We are all there sick and this is not an atmosphere to help us get better. I spilled my urine bucket by mistake and let someone know right away. The entire stay was spent with urine under my bed. It never got cleaned up until I moved out of the room into the hallway again next to the nurse's station. I could hear everything they were saying about other patients, unkind things. I was appalled. What were they saying about me? I met with a marvelous social worker I believe her name is Allie. She was so patient and kind. She deserves all good things life has to offer her. The poor patient next to me was just yelling for some air. The security guys said she's too old anyway and they snickered then at one point I thought she had passed away. The halls were full of beds. The doctor that I finally saw was great! Dr Skratts maybe? He was so empathetic toward me. If I just had to rate him it was be a five star rating. Unfortunately too much happened that I cannot unhear or see and it's a horrible vision I have to live with. I'm scared of retribution by posting this because it is the only hospital in my area within 40 miles.

She was treated kindly which is very important ( I have done 2 long tours as a missionary in West Africa so good care along with dignity and respect go a long way!) All my nurses and support team were there for me anytime I needed or wanted something. So many names, many I never remembered but De De, Ashley, Kacey and Manney rose to the top. Although Manney working the night shift had to be a little more expedient as during that time I just wanted them in and out so I could sleep. Although I was grumpy with night staff a few times, in retrospect they were awsome and did what had to be done. Thank you Roseville sutter cardiac division. Even though out of my way (I live in Folsom), If I have another cardiac event needing hospitalization, I hope I go there.
