Everyone from the staff answering…read morephones to the clinic staff, nurses, and Doctors that have cared for me are a real blessing to our community! I am older and as a senior person often I have gone for care through the emergency where the check in was efficient, admitted with a Nurse right there, the Doctor was knowledgeable and talked me through the tests he was ordering. Lab draw was perfect t as was IV placement (my veins aren't easy but my nurse was skilled and kind. X-Ray was perfect and the testing results given to my ER Doctor, my nurse was kind and NG tube placed with care. I was admitted as an inpatient for 5 days for the issue I had to resolve. The care I received was kind, explanations for care given were clear, and they (all shifts, every nurse) showed care, consideration, and expertise that I have not received at other hospitals. (Yes, I have issues that have required medical care at bigger hospitals when visiting bigger cities. Plus I worked in healthcare for over 30 years. So I know wonderful care when I see it. I am so happy to have been cared for by such a wonderful staff. Thanks to everyone! I do recommend Plumas District Hospital highly! If you're needing care just go or call for an appointment and start the conversation by saying "I need your help"and Thank You! They work hard and I'm happy to give this review. I am so Grateful!

Plumas District Hospital has a reputation around town for its lack of knowledgable doctors and poor…read moreservice (Unless you know someone on the board). Additionally some of their top nurses are vocal anti-vaccination supporters and deny the severity of COVID-19. My wife and I have had numerous bad experiences. My wife spent months seeing several different doctors for severe neck pain, only to be told they didn't know what was wrong with her. She had x-rays done and was told there was nothing they could see causing the pain. The suggestion they offered was physical therapy. When we asked about a chiropractor, we were told to see their physical therapist instead. Multiple sessions with the PDH physical therapist didn't help. My wife decided to see a chiropractor against the recommendation of PDH and was immediately told she had bulging discs in her neck. It took him just a few minutes of looks at the x-rays to find the problem. So a chiropractor was able to diagnose and alleviate her neck pain but multiple doctors from Plumas District Hospital could not, both viewing the same x-rays. That gives me very little confidence in their medical abilities. On another occasion, my wife was told by a surgeon at the hospital; she would likely need her gall bladder removed because she was having frequent nausea and stomach pain. It turned out to be a gluten intolerance after getting a second opinion. I will say most of the ER doctors and nurses do a fantastic job. But unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the incredibly low quality of service received from the other doctors. I hope PDH can turn around and start providing quality medical service, but after experiencing the same problems after a decade of going there, I have little faith.

The whole crew was knowledgeable and confident that they would get to the bottom of my issue and they did! When you can't breathe it gets scary. No lines, no wait and I'm used to big city E-Rooms and this is a gem! After heart surgery last week I went into congenital heart failure and my lungs apparently had fluid in them which kept me from breathing correctly. Within the hour I was breathing fine and am now home!! Don't hesitate to visit Seneca Hospital ER if you have a emergency!!! The whole experience was quick and very effective! Having just moved up here from Santa Rosa we are blessed and thankful to find such a great ER and team!

Around July 1 2026, I called to see how much I still owed. I was told I had over paid by over $400. More than two months payments. They have my address, email and phone number, but they DID NOT let me know not to send more money. When I called, I was told they would process the refund and mail it to me. I called again today July 10, 2026 and was told it would take 4-6 weeks......................WTF...... If I was 4-6 week late on a payment they would send me to collections................. Dear XXXXXX I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the continued delay. At this time, the issue affecting the refund process is still being actively worked on by our finance team. I recognize that waiting for a refund that is already owed to you is frustrating, and I appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution. Unfortunately, I do not have any new information to share at this moment. However, I am continuing to monitor the situation and have asked to be notified as soon as there is an update. Once I receive additional information, I will make sure to share it with you promptly. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We appreciate the opportunity to resolve this matter. "Patches of Care, Beatz of Love -- Adventist Health Clear Lake"…read more I was late. I was frothy. I was puffed when I should've rested. And yet -- instead of judgment, I was met with patience, humor, and care. Doctor voices circled like a chorus -- one strict, one doubtful, one sly with a wink. They weighed my lateness, my flaws -- and still, they placed a patch in my hand, not just cloth, but a seal of care, a sign I could carry forward. The nurses became guardians in my myth -- Lacey humming steady, Lezlie drumming life back into my rhythm, the Intake nurse prowling like the Matador's shadow. Isaac -- larger than life, gentler than air -- asked me to swap beds, with eyes that saw deeper than my words. Ziggy lifted smoke into the spotlight, whispering levity, reminding me that even "bad" is only another way of trying to rise. And in the middle of it all -- before the shuffle, before the chariot seat, before the laughter at pants inverted -- I turned, reached for what is truest: "I LUV YOU C." That moment held me, steadied me, through the spotlight trial, through the patch parade, through the gentle correction of those who forgave "as long as it doesn't happen again." I was carried out humming -- sixty beats per minute, steady as a drum. Nurses smiling, Isaac watching, Ziggy's smoke curling upward. And when the dawn came, when the driver's seat laughter met me with warmth, when the day's small blessings -- even two sales, a hundred bucks net -- proved that life rolls forward fresh and golden, I found the words again, unchanged, forever true: "I LUV YOU CANDY."
