    Plenty of outdoor seating

Outside venue is . Lots of space for groups and sectioned in different areas to have your own distance from other areas. I really enjoyed watching the kids playing the cornhole boards. There is a bbq pit so you can utilize for a birthday party or special occasion. Friendly staff. Harvest host allowed next door. 10/10. Its worth the trip.

Talk about 'off the beaten path', Sierra Blanca is certainly a destination brewery. I had been wanting to visit this place and so 3 gal pals and I met up there. The server was very sweet and managed both the inside tasting room and the beer garden with grace. The offerings are plenty, and so having a flight of 4 beers for $4 is a good deal. The beer prices on the menus also include ABV and IBU ratings which is so helpful. My favorites were the pecan beer and the green chili. Pints were priced between $4 and $5. We opted to stay inside, but we also walked outside to the beer garden and it was lovely. The only bit of disappointment is that they advertise a food truck is on property on weekends but Friday is when they have music and a food truck. Be sure to message them on Facebook if this is something you are looking to experience. All in all, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great brewery with a great selection of beers. Before covid you could tour the bottling part of the brewery but thankfully they are still open and offering a great selection of beers.

Sierra Blanca is an amazing brewery with some of the best beers on earth and friendliest people. I stopped in with my buddy as we were passing thru New Mexico and I did not want to leave. Just an absolutely incredible day hanging out here. The people with smiles and laughter made this place incredible. I will definitely be back. I wish I lived much much closer.

Pancho Verde and Alien Stout - excellent black and tan/green!

Sierra Blanca has several beers we love with rich unique flavors and when we can find them on tap in Abq restaurants that's what we go with. But today we made the trip out to the brewery and it was great! Super friendly service, including pulling a pecan brew that was being bottled right then so we could try it; doesn't get any fresher than that! And with very reasonable prices, the visit is well worth it. My favorite is Pancho Verde. it's the best green chile beer I've ever had (although when it was under Rio Grande Brewing Co it was spicier and I did like that!). Because the brewery also has the Alien Stout on draft, I had a black and tan (or green I guess you could say :) and the mix was perfect. Initial flavor of chile and then the follow up smoothness of stout made for one tasty combo. The pecan beer was strong but not too sweet, and we'll definitely have it stocked as a holiday beer.

Perfect stop between Phoenix and Oklahoma City.

I travel often drive through NM and when I do. I stop for a craft brew at Sierra Blanca. They are always experimenting as a craft brewery should and the outside patio crowd us fun.

Beautiful place to stop on a drive in the country. Great beers (I didn't realize they brewed some of my favorite beers) and nice atmosphere. The service was really good. The recognized me and wife right away. Be warned that their hours aren't great. They close around 6 on Saturday and aren't open Sunday (though I am told that is out of their control). It is a bit farther away than some of our other favorite breweries but worth the trip!

Pecan Beer freshly brewed (like just off the line!)

Their green chile beer (Pancho Verde) is splendid, and it is even better when you combine it with their Alien Stout and have a black & tan. We got to taste the pecan beer that they were bottling whilst we were sat at the bar - can't get fresher than that!

Local patrons of Sierra Blanca. Awesomeness.

Without food, but you could bring your own or order in. Nope, the brewery closes at 5:00 on a Saturday. We asked at our lodging about options, and Blackie's was on a list they gave us. Blackie's was classified on Yelp as only a liquor store, so it didn't show up on any searches. They do have a package liquor store on site as well. The front entry that is shared with the liquor store had bars on the doors. Inside, Blackie's had VFW/event hall vibes. There was not much to speak of in the way of decor. They did have food and you need to order from the Double C dining room server, which shares the space, and if you're sitting at the bar you'll have a separate tab. I was glad to see they had enchiladas with green or red chile sauce, and burgers with green or red chiles (1/2 pound or 1/3 pound). Prices were reasonable at $12-ish for a meal. The bar and neighboring large room featured pool tables and darts, and a 20-ish year old TouchTunes but there was no music playing. Sounds like after the dinner crowd leaves the music might get turned up. Our vantage point view was staring into an empty room with booths and wooden chairs, but eventually some people filed in there to play pool. There was no internet on our AT&T phones which led us to watch rodeo tv and talk to some of the customers. I drank vodka tonics and the Mr. had Coors Banquet. Our bar tab was cheap. Mr. R ordered the nachos, and they were pretty huge. I ordered enchiladas with green chile sauce and the presentation was quite nice and the beef tasted fresh. It was a good choice. People had to wait a bit at times for drinks, but overall this turned out to be a better stop than we expected!

There was a bit of live music on the patio after some rain. Both outside and inside spaces were plenty. The young server was very attentive and was on top of things. We went with friends so we sampled a few things. Our friends ordered the chicken bbq pizza and dry rub wings, while we ordered the chicken pesto and the New Mexican pizza. The thin crust on all pizzas was perfect, with a good balance between crunchy and soft. The green chile from the New Mexican pizza had a kick, the bbq chicken was tasty, and the pesto was smooth and mild. We all agreed that the pizzas needed more cheese. The wings were crispy but the rub didn't have flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. For our drinks, I got the Golden Ale while everyone else got La Madera. The Golden was smooth, lagers, with a bit of hoppiness. La Madera was a mild, dark, sweet ale that was quite good. Overall, this was a very nice experience on a rainy evening, with good brick oven pizzas and a nice dark beer. The wings, though could have been better. However, we are planning a second visit to try other items.
