This medical group hires the worst people for customer service jobs. They are so bent on telling their speed they don't listen when you're trying to talk. This is not customer friendly. There are ways to talk to people and get your point across and listening is a major component. If your doctor is on vacation they tell you to go to urgent care and the hours if urgent. Not listening when all you wanted was an appointment when doctor comes back. They tell you to talk to the office Manager who in this scenario calls the patient in when doctor is in the office with no personality and doesn't follow up with phone calls when trying to reach her. They have the system of sending texts when they should have voicemail for the dic instead of being berated by the receptionist. I understand protocol but gave an honest person who knows how to finger job. I worked in government for 35 years and had to talk to people from all walks of life and never spoke to them as I was spoken to. I like my doctor but maybe it's time to move on. read more

Brought my toddler into urgent care here with a sprained wrist & the office staff was so kind, efficient, & very quick to see us. Dr. Erickson was great helping my daughter feel comfortable, giving her a splint, and in reassuring me that everything was okay. Our current Dr that we've had for a long time is rude and does not listen to our needs, she is quick to interrupt when in the middle of speaking. I figured it was time for a switch and we wanted to stay at Peachwood just with a different Dr. I was told that the new Dr would not accept us because we were switching within the group. So we will be leaving all together. On a side note, the medical records department is a pleasure to deal with. She always follows through and is super helpful since I needed the VA to get my medical records. read more

I love Peachwood urgent care. Every time we go, we have a great experience with the physicians. Yesterday we needed to go for my son & received excellent care from the nurse practitioner (I wish I would've written down her name!)! She not only prescribed him what he needed for his terrible cold, she took her time listening to him & his lungs & wrote out a great and detailed care plan for us. I was so thankful because medicine (when more than 1 are involved) can be so confusing! She made it very easy to understand. My son left saying "I wish she could be my regular doctor!" :-) Thank you Peachwood for always taking excellent care when we need it. read more

The front office receptionist is rude. I was on hold for over 10 min. There has been so many times where I had to wait for a long time, even though I was always on time for my appointment. The day I am not feeling well, they want to charge $35. It's all good, you lost my business. All they care about is the money, and not the human being. My first choice in urgent care locations. Went in for a concern. Was very kindly cared for and given instructions to be seen by a specialist as soon as possible for further evaluation. After I left, the doctor called me within a few minutes personally to make sure I followed up with the specialist. "I wouldn't be able to sleep well if i didn't make sure I was clear about the need to be seen quickly" Her above and beyond care should be noted. read more

They treated my parents horribly! My parents were there and asked to make an appointment and the rude receptionist stated that the "Doctor isn't taking new patients at this time" But my mother has been numerous times pre covid. They couldn't tell us what timeframe is considered a "new patient" The front desk agent didn't answer any of her questions. And told her to go to urgent care. And sarcastically said you can go anywhere if your "insurance" will take you. I just am so tired of people treating veterans so disrespectfully. It saddens me because my parents are very kind people. I had been transferred to Dr.Gonzales office to figure out a situation for a prescription I can no longer afford. They told me to come in for a follow-up when I was just there at least 2 weeks ago. Why do I need to go again? When I was just there? Then the man I was on the phone with was very rude and impatient. You would think for taking care of people. They would be welcoming and engage with any questions or concerns. I will be switching my primary. I always feel judged here. I do not recommend coming here except for the nurse practitioner Joy who is always a lovely and kind face to see. I called to see what time they close and to see if they accept appointments. I was told they close at 6. He said as long as you get here by 5:30 you should be fine. I show up at 5:30 and the rude receptionist says how did you get in here, we are closed! I told her I had called an hour or so earlier and was told they close at 6. She said oh we closed early today. This is the second time I have come to this facility and have been turned away! Never again! Won't waste my time with this place! They clearly don't want my business. read more

This is my go-to urgent care when I need one. Yes, sometimes (especially during peak flu season) the wait can be very long...and yes, they do see people before you that came in after you if their medical need appears more urgent than yours. Urgent care is not a replacement for being seen by your primary care physician...but if you need to see a doctor immediately without waiting weeks for your PCP to be available, this is the place to go. I woke up today quite sick with a sinus and ear infection and was worried that this place would be either closed for the holiday or overflowing with sick patients (making the wait super long). Usually, I'd call beforehand to see what the wait was, but since I was planning to be there before they opened (to stand in line with the rest of the sickies), I just showed up. At 8:45 AM, the doors were open, there were two assistants at the desk and about 15 clip boards were set up with forms ready for patients to walk in. The waiting room was about 1/3 of the way full when I got there, and they had already started to call back patients (BEFORE they opened at 9:00 AM!). I later asked a nurse if this was common-she said they try to open as soon as the doctors and nurses have all arrived. I was called back by 9:05, saw the doctor at 9:10, and was out the door by 9:25 AM. While this is quick, I didn't have a difficult diagnosis--just had to check for strep or other potential problems. I felt the doctor took the time he needed with me and even had time to small talk before ending the visit. Now, If only the shave ice place were open today--that would be very soothing on my very very sore throat. read more

Came here around 9:10 am on Monday. They temp check you when you walk in the building. I appreciate how only every other seat were available due to COVID. I checked in pretty quick and was called within 15 min.The Dr came in pretty much right after my vitals were taken and he listened to my concerns. The facility was clean and staff was kind. This is one of the worst medical facilities I have ever visited. The rudeness and incompetency is mind boggling from the older guy at the front who first told me they didn't do prescriptions, and then changed his mind but didn't even know what Lisinopril was to the Nurse Practioner who was extremely rude and combative to me. She was uncaring, nasty, and not what you want in a nurse practitioner ( Richardson) I advise anyone not feeling well or needing medical help to avoid this place. We took our 10 month old child into urgent care but we're told that they couldn't see him because he missed the Covid testing by 5 minutes while we were waiting in line. Interesting that they're open until 5pm but only have Covid testing until 4pm. This place clearly doesn't care when a child's health is on the line. Sad and disappointing. read more

Although the practitioner was very nice the front desk was extremely rude and uncooperative. I tried to get my records sent to MiCare (Clovis Unified School District's medical care facility) in care of Barbara Gilman FNP she replied she had never heard of MiCare nor Barbara Gilman FNP. I gave her the information sheet and she said she didn't have the fax #. I said," Well call them!" She didn't have time so I called them and gave it to her. It took 3 1/2 hours for her to fax it to MiCare. read more

I am so pleased with their service. I was not able to get seen by my regular Dr. but know that urgent care is there and has my back. In today's case they have my foot. I have had heel pain for about a month and have been unable to wear normal shoes. Thank goodness it's summer and sandals are okay. They have an x ray machine and Gary did my x rays. He is super nice and easy going. Nurse practitioner Johnson was really kind and was able to put my mind at ease about my heel pain. If i could have urgent care as my regular Office and have Nurse Johnson as my Dr. I would so be there. :-) read more

Came in to urgent care with a gash on my leg that I just needed stitched up real quick. There was another guy in the waiting room with blood DRIPPING from his hand that he had cut on accident. They made him wait over 2 hours and I was like dang I'm in for it then... currently at hour 3, they put me in a room and took the dressing/compression off and left. Now it's bleeding again and running down my leg. Let's see how many more hours they waste giggling at the station outside the door about who had what for lunch. Stupid. Dropping this medical place entirely because they're just careless and always rude. Even my primary doctor has been nothing but trouble lately. read more

Used Peachwood Urgent Care for minor visits for 20+ years so I decided to establish myself with a Dr. with the group when my primary care physician retired. As I'm turning 65 this June I contacted the office in person to discuss my situation. The office person refused to schedule me with a Dr. because my insurance would be Medicare soon ((currently have Blue Shield PPO)) (this in person visit was in late February). She said come back when I have my Medicare card and refused to schedule me! I returned in April with my information from my retirement program stating I will be receiving Blue Shield Medicare Advantage when my Medicare started June 1. At this in-office visit I was told the Dr's. Are not taking Medicare patients... I showed them I had Blue Shield Medicare Advantage and Medicare. She refused me AGAIN!! I called my insurance issuing company AND Blue Shield and was told not to tell the office I had Medicare but tell them I have Blue Shield Medicare Advantage. I decided to wait until I received my new Blue Shield Medicare Advantage card and try again...late May and I have my Medicare card, my Blue Shield Medicare Advantage Card!!!...and off I go to Peachwood... I'm again stymied by the employee stating they aren't accepting new Medicare patients... I explain what I've been told by Blue Shield and my former employer and Medicare and she refuses to schedule me! As I am leaving see a billing window and decide to speak to them. The employee looks at my card and says " this insurance is GOLD, we accept this...". She walks me back to scheduling and 15 minutes later MISS Scheduler hands me a clipboard with a new patient questioner... after filling it out I'm told I will receive a call in a about a week! Are you kidding me. Auditioning to be a patient?! Anyway 16 days later and it's my Birthday 6/16!! And I received a voicemail asking if I could call to schedule an appointment!! Oh hell no!! I have ZERO confidence in this group and besides the parking sucks. read more

The location of Peachwood Urgent Care is very convenient. However, if they fail to provide adequate care, it becomes much less convenient. We have been there three times with unsatisfactory results. First visit, my daughter went in with an infected split lip, they could not see past their initial thought and wanted to treat it as a cold sore. Knowing that wasn't the case she went to Northwest Medical Urgent care the same day and got her lip treated correctly. Second visit, my son went in with allergies and a sore throat and was turned away at the desk saying he had covid symptoms. Again, went to Northwest Medical Urgent care and was seen and treated with antibiotics for infected tonsils. Third visit, my daughter was injured in a water polo game and went to get checked out. She was told to leave as her injuries were considered an assault and it's against their policy to treat assaults. Apparently a sports injury is now an assault? Went to her primary care physician and they said it was ridiculous, sports injuries are not an assault. Three strikes. They are out. Don't waste your time. read more

You're dealing with people every day, who are possibly really sick or injured. Show some grace. The doctors at the urgent care office are typically very caring and patient. After going here a few times, I will not be returning. This is the 3rd time they've rushed me out of the office with a script, just for the medication to not work/not even be for what I needed treated! They called me back today after I was in the office to get antibiotics 5 days ago, saying they ran my labs and don't think those antibiotics will work. 5 days later. This is the second time now. Other times being so rushed and not listening to what's going on. Just assuming quickly and hurrying me out the door. Untrustworthy and scary. read more

I took my granddaughter here after she was knocked out during cheer practice. The wait was horribly long, (2 hours) and when she was seen the attending physician only "surface" examined her and did not xray to be sure. I am sitting in Peachwood filling out my paperwork when a family with a child comes in and is told that the doctor on duty does not see children. How does that work? I finish my paperwork and walk up to the window. I am asked what my needs are and I explain that I have an injured foot. I then get told the X-Ray tech left early so they can't help me. What the hell are your doors open for? Can't do X-Rays, can't see children, and nothing posted outside. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

So we drove down the mountain to Clovis and Peachwood Urgent Care. They were very good...I was in and out in 45 mins! Wow...The doctor I saw was professional and kind. The nurse was also very nice. I understand during COVID it is challenging. My daughter had symptoms for over two weeks that are also COVID symptoms last night they began to get worse so we came to the urgent care. Because her symptoms worsened, mind you, not new symptoms ...we were told she would not be able to be seen. You need to have had symptoms for over 48 hours. Because symptoms worsened they were considered "new". This information was provided after we signed in, fill out paperwork and walked around to the back to get COVID tested and wait for results. Told to go to her doctor tomorrow. Going to her doctor is always my first choice but on the weekend we had to go to an urgent care. Luckily, there are lots of other urgent care options...Never will I choose Peachwood again. If that's your policy at lease post it and tell people so they have the information and can make decisions that best fit their needs. read more

My son was seen by Dr. Brough on April 15, 2022 for a sore he had on his wrist in which we thought may be ringworm. He was diagnosed with a bite and was told to use hydrocortisone on it. Today April 21, my son developed another sore on his face, we took him into his regular Pediatrician and was diagnosed with Impetigo which had spread. I gave the one star only due to the fact that Peachwood Urgent Care was able to take him in, now I wish I had taken my son to another Urgent care, perhaps he would have been treated correctly the first time. read more

Went to urgent care today with a fairly large laceration in my hand. I was seen quickly (within about 15 minutes) and treated just as fast. Everyone was very nice. I had to return about two hours later because I'd mistakenly believed I'd had a tetanus shot within the last 5 years. They brought me to the back without hesitation and tagged it on to the original visit. Expedient, courteous, and thorough. read more

Clean waiting room and it was a quick wait. The nurse that walked me back was very nice too. My doctor (Dr. Abraham), on the other hand, was very dismissive. I have severe asthma and would not have some here if I didn't feel that something was different or wrong. I would highly suggest going elsewhere (there is a great urgent care across the street) unless you want to have a condescending and dismissive doctor. read more

This place is horrible!! should've went with my gut instinct and left, when I over heard a patient come back in stating she needed to be seen again cause she wasn't feeling better. Was seen by Gloria, Brough MD, she ignored me, gave me a lecture about being obese and didn't even assist me with a possible ear infection or sinus infection I had. She denied giving me an antibiotic and gave me a lecture as if I asked for OXY. I called in to file a complaint and was transferred to the administrator so I left a message. Never received a call back, crickets!!! Co-pay down the drain and ended up going to Clovis Community ER where a real Dr. confirmed I did need an antibiotic. Good luck if you visit this place! Gave this place over a week to call me back and remedy their poor attempt to help me. read more

Out of necessity I went to Peachwood Urgent Care on a Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. opening. The front desk had numerous charts already available for completion by the patients and moved the registration process along as quickly as possible. There were about 6-8 patients in front of me. I was called within 20 minutes, my sample was collected and processed, the doctor (quite pleasant) discussed my condition PLUS explained to me why the medication I have used for many years is no longer the best treatment option. I was in and out in 45 minutes with prescription in hand. As a side note: this condition had started 24 hours earlier. Often I can get it under control myself without visiting a medical facility but by 9:00 p.m. On the previous Saturday evening I had no choice but to visit the ER at Clovis Community Hospital. The paperwork went smoothly but that's where it stopped. An hour later I suggested that I provide the sample I knew they would need so it could be sent to the lab. At 2:30 in the morning my specimen had not been processed and the lab was asking for blood. WHAT?! I have a UTI for crying out loud. And all this while I, and hundreds of other people, sat in a freezing cold room waiting to see a doctor. I hope I never have to use their facility again! read more

Wow, this Urgent care will never get my business and I hope my insurance does not pay for our visit. My daughter injured her elbow at school on 10/28, so we decided since head over to Peachwood simply because they do x-rays on site. When we arrived the wait time was only 25-30 minutes, not bad considering it was a Friday. They took X-rays of my daughters elbow and claimed it was on dislocated, also know as "Nursemaid Elbow". The Dr ,proceeded to put her elbow back in place. I have never seen my daughter cry so horrific after the Dr. snapped it back in place. The Dr, said it would be "sore" but everything should be fine; no sling for her arm was supplied. For the next three days my daughter nursed her arm and would not allow anyone to touch it. On 10/31 at 1:30pm we received a phone call from Peachwood informing us that after reviewing the X-rays again, her elbow was indeed fractured and should be put into a cast. Really!! I wouldn't have been so irritated at the misdiagnoses, however the RN that applied a cast on my daughter's arm at Valley Children's had informed us that his grandmother recently visited Peachwood with a hurt wrist and the Dr claimed it was only sprained. After going to the hospital, she was informed it was broken. Unbelievable! I am grateful for the follow up phone call, however this practice just seems reckless. Not to mention the pain my poor child endured for three days due to the misdiagnoses. EEK, Me Think NOT! read more

Mexican women in the front is the same way ! She is kinda short and fat the Mexican women And the Asian girl is a kid , she took 2 hrs and 30 min just to register me !!! Well Shute enough they toook me off the list !!!! I am now 10 people ahead of me !!! My kids can't have a show in about 2 hours and they have trained for a year for this !!!
