I live in a remote location, their installers went out of their way to find a location on my property where they could connect with one of their towers. Since then they have been fantastic if I had any issues. I upload hundreds of high resolution pictures to our cooperate office a couple times a week, they have always got my uploads through, previous company couldn't handle it. The times I have needed to talk with the staff I sensed they truly wanted to help me out, I needed increased upload speed and they supplied it, yes it cost more, but that is the cost of doing business. So keep up the excellent work folks.

I spoke with a few friends who have them and one said she didnt know what was happening , as someone was on her roof, it was Conifer Communications. They also insist on putting that ugly dish on your roof. Stay away from them! The Value ??? The internet has been horrible for a while and when I spoke to Chelsea, she told us we were just going to have to deal with it, per Jim the tech. There are so many other options out here now. Talk to your neighbors, so many have gotten away from Conifer. For a Communication company they sure dont know how to let their customers what is going on. They have a sense of entitlement about them. Stay away, they will just cause you extra stress you dont need !!!

I didn't want to go with satellite because of snow and trees. I came across this company that actually had cable. I called on a Wednesday. Got an appointment for Friday at 10. Everett was there right at 10, and after checking out the scene went right to work. This involved digging a trench from the cable box to the cabin, snaking wire under the cabin, driiling holes through the deck and walls. And finally setting up equipment, testing and getting my account set up. Come 1 o'clock he was all done and I had internet. This was the most efficient smooth installation I have ever experienced. From my first encounter with Laurie in the office to Everett doing the instalation. All was flawless. Now I know some people may say why are you do you want internet at a cabin in the mountains. This is where you go to get away from these trappings of the city. Yes, that's true, but it's nice to keep an eye on things from afar. I also now have the ability via a wifi door lock to control access instead of a key in a lock box. And finally, the added bonus.....maybe catch a deer, mountain lion or bear on camera.

Anytime I have had to call I have never had to wait on hold, they pick up. The people I have talked to in the office are always helpful and friendly. 2) We have the 60 MB plan and have not had too many issues. Occasionally there may be some lag time, but for the most part the service has been good. We do have a couple extenders in the house and I think these help a lot. 3) It is easy to set up your account online and manage anything you need. I am on autopay and it makes things very easy 4) We have had technicians come out twice over 2 years. Once when we moved in and again this week when we were able to upgrade to a higher speed plan. They had to replace the radio antenna to get the higher speed. Vance and Ryan were the technicians that came out. They are both professional, friendly, calm, knowledgeable and work efficiently. They arrive on time, introduce themselves, explain what they are going to do, and then get the job done. For me, it is the little things that matter. For example, this week when they both came out and it was wet outside from the rain, before they entered my house they wiped their feet. These little things show you that they care about what they are doing and that they want the customers to have a good experience. If you are debating about what internet to go with, choose Ayera. I kept tabs as the new office opened in San Andreas, and celebrated with the company as they continued to get community support. I grew up in Groveland/Big Oak Flat and went to the local Elementary and High Schools. I was class of 2000. I was just like any of you growing up here. I played sports, worked at the local Market when it was "Ken's", and run by my family. I was a classmate and friends with a few of the people that work for and started Conifer, having over 20 years of off and on contact with them personally. I personally have an IT background, and so anything IT naturally is of interest to me. I supported Conifer from afar while I lived away from California for over 18 years. I finally moved back a little over a year ago, and reestablished myself back in our little hometown, and knew right away, that this was the company I was going to choose for my internet provider. Why am I glad we did? First and foremost, the personal connection and the neighborly smile we get with the customer service. Knowing some of the staff was a nice perk, but the way we were always treated with respect was a great feeling. Any concerns were addressed promptly, and we were rarely if ever without internet, and if we were it was brief. Another reason we chose Conifer, was because they work hard. When they did our install, they were fast, friendly, efficient, but hard working. They made sure it was done right, and did what was needed to ensure we got the best possible signal knowing we were in a tough spot. We knew it wasn't guaranteed, but they did what they could and then they found the magic sweet spot and we got service. Finally, we chose Conifer because they are real people like us. They are from the same towns, they are familiar, and when you call/email/FB/etc. you get a real person. I can't tell you how tired I am of talking to an AI or program trying to press buttons on a phone or device, to try to get a real person. Sometimes things happen, and Conifer listens. They understand, and they work with you. After a year of having their services, I joined their team. Yes, Now I am part of Conifer too. So now I am literally seeing things from both sides. I see the installs, I see the tower work at late hours, in all weather conditions. I see the friendly faces of some of you that come into the offices or hear your voices on the phones. This week my connection started dropping at least 50% of packets. I called right away on Wednesday morning at 9am. They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. I asked if I could pick it up, or any other option to not be down for a day and they said there wasn't. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. I'm back online and very happy again.

I came into the Sonora store because my phone was having an intermittent issue. I explained that…read morethe problem comes and goes. The two employees working told me that unless they could replicate the issue right there in the store, they couldn't help. They suggested I go home, get my Apple charger and Apple earphones, and bring everything back to demonstrate the problem. When I asked whether they didn't believe me, the young man repeated, "If we can't replicate the issue, we can't help you." Since I pay for full insurance on the device, I expected some troubleshooting or at least guidance, but there was none. Later that afternoon, I called Verizon's customer service line and explained the situation again. I was transferred several times and had to repeat the issue with each person until I reached Verizon technical support. They identified the problem immediately and told me it would get worse, saying, "It just happens sometimes." They approved a replacement on the spot. Even with full insurance, the replacement cost $90, and when UPS delivered the device there was another $33 charge. I also learned that the insurance isn't handled by Verizon at all--it's Asurion--so you have to file a claim directly with them. I had hoped the in-store experience was an isolated situation, but after reading the reviews, it's clear it isn't. I'm sharing this so the store can improve training on how to handle intermittent device issues and better support customers who are already paying for protection. It would also help if the insurance coverage and actual costs were fully explained when people purchase their phones. If everything must be handled over the phone or online, then the store functions only as a sales location, not a service one.
