I can not believe we never thought of doing this sooner. I love my final product. It was probably the day we had a huge down pour and I got to sit under my new patio cover, that I realized this was the best addition to our house. DO NOT TRUST!!! Started over a year ago (4-20-2021) but still not passed structural integrity code violations today (10-17-2022) due to fraudulently charging for steel beam insert needed to hold up structure that they left out and the 24' x 18' structure is sagging ready to collapse at any time on my family. Bond company and code enforcement had to step in and are forcing them to fix this very dangerous situation, code violation, contractual and fraud violation. This is just the worst issue. Others are measured too short and using used damaged pieces and other shoddy work but also appears that current owner was not licensed at time of work (per CSLB records) and using prior owner's license until he got his own. According to sales rep, this went on for over a year. read more

Went with 12'x20' insulated with a fan installed (we provided the fan). Took about 2 weeks to get the permit then they scheduled install 2 days later. Install guys were very friendly and quick. He was able to get the permit through even though the inspector found something in the code that could have prevented out project. The price was great, not the cheapest, but for value he is tough to beat. His crew were perfectionists. They took almost twice as long to build as Dan had budgeted, partly because of the August heat I believe. The salesman absolutely lied to my face. I was told repeatedly that condensation would not be an issue. Well, it's a big issue. As soon as the weather starts to change in the fall condensation becomes an issue along the seams and the windows. Literally enough to completely soak a hand towel. I like the look of the room. I am not happy with the light fixtures that they provide, the doorknob to the door or the handle on the slider. Those fixtures are cheap and outdated. Our door sticks, we were told they would send somebody right away to fix it. That was 10 months ago. read more

This is very untrue! The company came out once to try to repair and upon leaving the dent was only painted over to try to hide it. This occurred in November/December time. We havent heard back from the company since then after numerous attempts. The remaining money wasnt owed until last day in February. They had months to fix the problem before I decided to write a review. We never refused to pay the left balance of $500, we just feel if we are paying thousands of dollars for a product we should get it dent free upon install! Once the job is done to satisfactory then of course he will get paid! This is a shame that after all this the company wont contact us but will reply on a review! Sad. I really just want people to know what they are getting into before they spend a lot of money on a product like this. read more

In May 2017 Sierra Sun Screens & Patio Covers replaced our existing "open slat' cover with a 13' x 13' solid, insulated cover. We went with this company because they had previously installed two solid covers at the homes of one of our children. The work they previously did was excellent and the work they did on our new cover was excellent, too. They were able to use our existing posts plus they re-installed the existing ceiling fan. In other words, they did not try to "oversell' us. Dan, the owner, is very good to work with and is very responsive to questions.
