I had an almost antique Citizen women's watch with a pearl face and diamonds at 12-3-6-9. It had stopped working, and another watch repair place said it wasn't worth it to put a battery in it. After a couple of years of looking at it and another watch in the bottom of my jewelry box, I decided to try again to get them fixed. I dropped them off, and checked back with them the next week (this was during January Snowmageddon) and they quoted me $32.99 each for total cleaning, new battery, new seal on back of the case. I thought fantastic! After a couple days, I checked back and was told they were ready. When I got there, he had not only fixed them, cleaned them, and they were running and the date and time was set for me, he had noticed a couple tiny crystals in my other watch were missing, and he replaced them free of charge!! My 85 year old mom has been toting around a watch with dead batteries for almost 2 years. Those big stores sell watches but they don't do any servicing. This watch was a gift to her from my late father. We tried to replace it with one of those solar powered ones but this watch had sentimental value. One day we decided to ask them even though they are in a big store (Fred Meyers). Turns out it they do and much more than just change batteries. Very friendly and kind to my mom. I don't post review's often but in this case the service that I received was so exceptional that I think others would benefit from knowing about SAM at Sierra watch repair at Fred Meyer's in Issaquah. When I brought my old raymond weil parcifal watch in for an estimate for repair I wasn't very hopeful that it could be repaired at all. I had taken it to Porcello Jewelers in Bellevue (place of purchased) years earlier but they weren't able to repair the watch. I then sent the watch to Raymond Weil in New York, they also told me the watch could not be repaired. The watch sat for years in my jewelry. I needed to have a repair done on a current watch and told Sam about my beloved old watch. Guess what? Sam fixed my repairable watch as good as new and for a very reasonable price.
