Came in on a Wednesday 20 minutes before close to get a vintage Seiko resized. I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to find this place, but definitely super easy to navigate with all the signs and helpful reception desk on the first floor. Upon finding the office, I rang the doorbell and the owner came and answered pretty quickly and as I got in, I noticed there wasn't anyone else there which wasn't surprising given the fact that it was around closing. I had asked the owner about resizing my watch and how much it was gonna cost and it ended up being $19 after tax, which was pricier than I thought (which is the only reason I took off a star). However, after I had attempted to resize it at home (and failed multiple times doing so), I was honestly down to pay whatever price it took to get it resized since the watchband links were not the modern kind where you can just push out pins from the sides. The owner had to use some special tools and a little hammer to get the links off which definitely made me feel better about the price I paid. Ultimately I ended up waiting for maybe 10 mins max for the whole resizing of the watch, so it was super quick even with the owner checking with me multiple times to make sure the watch band fit my wrist perfectly before he rang me out. I appreciated his efforts in doing so and he was very patient and understanding the whole way through. Though it was only my first time coming, I would definitely recommend this place for any kind of watch repair or resizing :) Overall good experience for resizing my watch! read more

Jerry is simply excellent. A wrist band on my watch broke, I tried a replacement kit, but could not get the spring bar pushed back sufficiently to then spring into place and connect the replacement band. After fiddling with it off and on, and losing two spring bars [popped onto my floor somewhere, but not visible], I called Jerry and asked if he could make the repair. He said he would have to see the watch first. So I checked his hours, and brought it in. He took a look, went to his work desk, and finished the repair in about two minutes. I asked him if his secret was more extensive equipment. He smiled and said, years of experience. When I asked what I owed him, he said no charge. Whereupon I replied, you have given me a new watch, please let me pay something. He agreed on $2.00, which I gladly forked over. Figure on a "billable," basis, $120 per hr. Lawyers can charge a lot more, but Jerry gets points for generosity. He has become my go to person for watch repair. read more

I visited Jerry's to have one of my watches repaired (Junghans Max Bill). He took a look at the watch, and "fixed" it in minutes. Apparently my DOW/Date cannot be adjusted when the clock is between 9PM and Midnight. He saved me hundreds of dollars if I had sent in my watch, but he refused to take my money. What a great little spot! A little bit of an odd location, maybe, inside of a downtown building up on the third floor. Just a little office space, but there she is in all its glory. My watch started to fog from the inside, leading me to believe the gaskets were fogked. I also figured I could replace my battery so I went in because of the stellar reviews that exist on Yelp. Well, he opened up my watch and looked inside and immediately pulled out the gasket. Fogked. So he said it would be ready by tomorrow, and it was! Very cheap, great work, friendly guy. Jerry was very helpful and informative. My Hamilton mechanical watch got water in it after having it for 7+ years. He not only cleaned it out and replaced all the waterproofing gaskets. But he tuned it cause it was running a little slow even fully wound. And all his work has a year warranty. Always fast, affordable and friendly. Besides the normal battery replacements he's also very experienced in repairs. Along with a battery replacement I brought in a watch from the '70s and without opening it he said the battery had been discontinued (mercury) and the only size-compatible ones puts out higher voltage and causes it to gain time. He still opened it up and tested a new battery and did some troubleshooting on what was wrong with it for free. read more
