they charge $12.99 every two weeks for delivery!!! that's crazy! I will cancel my service.

Starting the service was easy, canceling the service is incredibly difficult. I have tried every day for a week over hour-long waits in an endless customer support queue and have yet to reach anyone. I even tried using the start service approach in the hopes of getting some help, but regardless how I much I pleaded with them I was just dumped into the bottomless pit of a hold queue that is never answered. I found a local office and plan on visiting that office today to see if I can get cancel the service that way - will post a follow up later Like Keven P., I wish I had checked Yelp prior - Horrible Customer Service and Horrible Experience!!!! read more

I cannot recommend this company. Service was rushed and rude. Even the water wasn't so good. Just don't go with this service.

I should have checked Yelp prior to giving this company my business. If I had, I would have saved myself a lot of money. We are a small office on Fort Bliss, and wanted to share the expense of having water delivered, rather than buying bottled water and throwing away 20oz plastic bottles at the rate of 20 or so a week. I searched for companies, and gave Sierra Springs a call. I was quoted $7 per 5gal bottle, and $3/month for the dispenser. That sounded more than reasonable, so I gave them my credit card, and set up a delivery date. The first month seemed fairly reasonable. They brought 4 bottles initially, and the bill seemed to reflect that. Then, over the next couple of months, instead of replacing a bottle with a bottle, we had 6 in our office (we aren't always there when the delivery comes by, so the driver was taking liberties with that fact), then 7, and so on. Eventually, our idea of sharing the expense came down to just me and one other person using the service and paying for it. One month, there was only one person in the office for half that, but somehow our bill was over $50. It was then that we decided to end the service. I called and left a few messages to that end, but never got a return call. Since the credit card I was using was my "throw away," as in the card I use for online purchases, pizza orders, etc, and had a very low credit limit, I just canceled the card. Within a couple of weeks, the delivery driver was calling to set up a new drop-off. I met him and told him of our intent to cancel, and he loaded everything up and took it away. BUT, let's discuss billing. That ONE bottle, at $7/5gal? Yeah. So, I was charged $7 for the bottle, and $6 for a bottle deposit, AND $5 per delivery for an "energy fee." Oh, plus $3/billing cycle for a paper invoice THAT I WASN'T RECEIVING. Horrible business practices, horrible customer service, and downright shady billing. My advice? Drink tap water before doing business with Sierra Springs. read more

The people who work for the local Sierra are very nice, but the corporate office is shady. I started through Costco thinking Costco would have a reputable company working with them, they do not. The bottles kept changing, increasing in number without my consent and my credit card was billed for everything. I called to cancel and they said they do not reimburse my water. So I told them to stop service and I would just drink all the water, but it would take at least 3 months because I had so much water. About 2 months later I started to receive water again. I called the company and cancelled it again, but now I had more water. It stopped for a month, then I got more water. It occurred again! DO NOT go with this company. read more

Terrible customer service and unethical billing practices. They sneak in extra and tell you they are free, and then charge you for them. I only ordered bottled water and each month extra things just show up on our bill. We are a business and our company card cycles each month on the 15th. They could not charge our card 1 time, before the bill was even due after a year of service, locked our account. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!! STAY AWAY!!!! read more

I have been a long time customer of Sierra Springs (at least 10 years). Over the past two years approx, when DS Waters purchased the company, the customer service level has gone to hell. I requested this Monday a new water cooler (1-800-201-6218) after the old one leaked all over the floor. The Sierra Springs' customer service said it it would be delivered "for sure" on Tuesday. We stay home all day waiting for the new cooler. It never arrived. I called on Tuesday, the customer service person said it would be delivered in the morning on Wednesday. It never came. I called this Wednesday and was told that there was no record of this delivery. The woman on the phone was rude and said it can be delivered until Monday. So it will be a great Thanksgiving without a water dispenser. I have had it with Sierra Springs' poor customer service. read more

I have been wanting to leave a review for some time and just went in to pay my bill. Well even though one of the last reviews was in 2016, Sierra Springs STILL has shady and unethical billing practices. Who ever heard of a 30 day payment cycle. Not like regular legit business that bill for example on the 1st of the month to the 1st of the following month. No these guys say they bill for 30 days, for example on the 2nd of the month, well if you count 30 days from the 2nd it will change every month based on when you pay, or when you get the water or when the day shines or is cloudy. They have a very very strange way of billing that if you don't stay on top of the bill you will get additional charges that they try to sneak in if you are not on top of the bill. Now in all fairness the gentlemen that deliver have been some the nicest people I have come across in a service industry. They are so considerate and always, always concerned about what you need to order. Not pushy, rude, unhelpful totally the opposite, nice guys and I have had two delivery guys since I have had this service. Again you have to vigilant about your bill and always always make sure you review your statement. My family in Austin has also had very bad service and charges for water never delivered. Huge mess to untangle there and likely to cancel the service. Well I hope this review helps some of you to consider carefully. Worst company I've ever done business with. Totally unprofessional, delivery driver came into our store took everything (water & coffee machines). All because of a billing discrepancy caused by their billing Dept. No prior warning or phone calls were received. Driver did it in from of customers and spilled water all over the place when taking equipment and did not clean it up. read more

i have never seen a more inept company in my life. i had a standing order for 2 5-gal bottles (10 gallons) of purified water to be delivered every two weeks. pretty simple..... we started in october and for the 3 times they attempted to deliver water, none were correct!!! as costco members we are charged $6.49 for a 5-gal bottle. they charge the same for a 3-gal bottle for 2 gallons less of water. that still makes no sense to me...how can you charge the same for 3 and 5 gallons????? one customer service person said it was because of the amount of plastic used in the bottles...what? that would still make the 5-gal bottle more because it is bigger. hello?? anyway....this last delivery they gave us 3 3-gallon bottles (9 gallons) and charged us for 3 bottles (wrong again)... they agreed to credit one bottle since it was their error but they would not take any more off - they do not credit for 'inconvenience'. they have not gotten our order right from the beginning. i would call that more than an mere 'inconvenience'. they are still charging us for 10 gallons and we only received 9. so.....we have cancelled our delivery service. then...on top of all of this...they want to charge us the standard $3.84 'energy surcharge' to come and pick up the bottles because it is on a new billing cycle.... it doesn't seem to end..... in the future...we will be taking our bottles to the local walmart and getting them filled from the primo dispenser there. i would never recommend this water company to anyone. save your money... primo dispenser water from walmart runs about $.35 per gallon not $1.30 (and that is the 'discounted' price!!!!!) so very done!!! read more
