Pranqster and Last Word with an excellent view
    Deanna M.

Sierra Tap House is located right on the river. It has a great view, and it is nice for people watching while you have your drink. There is plenty seating on the inside and out. There are gamble machines on the bar, and there is also a pool table. I wind up at this bar a lot because it is consistent and I love the vibe. I am never disappointed with the drinks here. I usually order a specialty cocktail from their menu, but this time it wasn't made yet, so I ordered a Last Word, which was delicious! My boyfriend had the Pranqster on draft and he said it would good as well. We spent $22 for these two drinks. It was a little busy when we went, and the bartender handled it effortlessly, and it felt like we didn't wait at all. He was very nice and welcoming, and I enjoyed the service we got.

Awesome place to grab a beer on the Truckee River. It's not on the street, you have to walk down a little to the river to see the place.

A dependable, dog friendly pub that participates in tap take overs. Full bar. Cans of special craft drinks, too. I like that they usually have some sort of unusual brews on tap. In and outdoor seats. Couple of pool table. Gambling machine bar tops.

N/A beers and Mocktails available it's been a couple weeks since we've been there, so I don't remember the bartenders name. But we were visiting from out of town, and he made us feel extremely welcomed and had some fun conversation. All in a great vibe.

We love this place! It's the hidden gem in Downtown Reno, and the perfect place to spend an evening. The crowd was mainly locals, and they have tons of games like pool, shuffleboard, darts, etc. The music they played was all of my favorite bands, and the drinks are great with decent prices. I've been coming here for years and it's always a fave.

They have a great selection of beers, but my favorite part of this bar is the outdoor seating by the river. It's my go-to place for summer.

It was our first time going to a drag show and it was a blast having a Mother's day reunion this way. The entertainers were fun (Maria you're the best) and the drink service could have been a little faster. There were many of us at our table that ordered bottomless mimosas. The rest of our mommy's had tequila and other hard liquors. The food options at the outdoor parking lot were delicious. It did take some time. This parking lot is horribe. I recommend ride share or getting dropped off here so you don't have to leave your car downtown on the streets. This part of 4th street isn't the best area. Shout out to the hubbs for shuttling me. We'll have to come back and have beer on the other side. I love their peanut butter stout and usually have a chilled pack in my fridge in the Summer. Here is what we liked: - Great vibe inside, including some comfy couches and lots of seating. - There is an area for live music in the back, which was just starting as we were leaving so we didn't get to enjoy that. - Very broad range of beers on tap. - We ordered a flight (4 5-ounce pours) and absolutely loved each of the beers, which isn't always the case at other places. Bottom line: We loved Lead Dog and will definitely go back again!

The Eddy is an absolute NO for me…read more The food is mediocre, the drinks are overpriced, and I've never understood why shipping containers are supposed to be an improvement to downtown Reno. But what really pushes this over the edge is the proposal to move The Eddy into Believe Plaza. Believe Plaza is one of the few public spaces in our city that truly belongs to everyone. It's where people gather, celebrate, protest, perform, and build community. It should not become the next opportunity for a private business to profit from public land. What makes this even more frustrating is that The Eddy's owner, Kurt Stitser, serves on the City's Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board. While he stepped away from discussions on the proposal, residents have every right to question why a business seeking to benefit from public space is so closely connected to the redevelopment process in the first place. Public spaces are not for sale. Reno belongs to the people who live here, not businesses looking to profit from land that belongs to the community. EVERYONE, take your business elsewhere. To the owners of The Eddy: Reno doesn't want your luke warm ideas. Stop repackaging the same tired concept as "revitalization" and stop treating public spaces as your next business opportunity. Believe Plaza belongs to the people of Reno not private interests.

And glad to say, that in my experience, this is still the closest we have in Reno to a "soccer bar". This has always been a great spot. Small, yes, but in that casual, intimate, easy-going way that has a lot of charm. Lots of hard-wood finishes, barstools, and TVs to catch what's on. And at time of writing, totally overflowing with futbol energy. There are a good number of bar spaces, tables, and outside seating overlooking the river, which is a BIG draw. The beer selection here is great, both on tap and in cansor bottles. But they also have a decent full-barselection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Plus, a decent smattering of N/A options. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt. Though if there are big, crowded events (such as a game being on), you may have a little slowdown. Plus, the vibes here are just fantastic. The location also cannot be beat, as it is ell placed to enjoy the riverfront and explore more of the area. Though parking may be a bit tight, depending on where you park and what day or time it is. There is also no food options here, but there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. All in all, I am glad some of the energy I remember is still here. I will have to come back during MLS or Premier League matches to see how things stand. And with a soccer team HOPEFULLY returning to Reno, I definitely hope we can get the local supporters groups to return here, as well. Definitely a libation spot not to be missed. Cheers!
