Fun little spot! Quaint atmosphere, no tvs or distractions... there was a little ring toss game we saw some others playing, but just a great little vibey spot to check out. Loved this wine bar! It is an intimate, relaxed bar with a wide selection of wines. Went with a friend and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine. We both got rose but his was sparkling and a little more sweet. The service was really good and quick. We were waiting for a table at another restaurant and ended up going to a different restaurant based on the recommendation or our server who provided multiple options. This is such a beautiful place. I recommend you give it a try if you want a great experience. The owners are a family and they are extremely personable. I cannot stress enough how nice of a place this is. You feel like you're having some wine at home with hosts who feel like family. The tropical wines are from Clearwater and are so delicious. Their wines are the BEST! The owners are really nice and funny which is a plus. It's always good to feel welcomed. We tasted a few of their wines and all of them were pretty much exceptional. Except the chocolate wine, I really didn't like that one. I mean, fruity wines, where else can you find that? My favorites included the Kiwi Pear Sauvignon Blanc, the Tangerine Tango White Zinfandel, the Blueberry Pinot Noir, and the Three Berry Shiraz. I'm now a fan of tropical wines! We loved it so much, we ordered a few to ship to California! The next time I'm in Siesta Key I will have to be back here for sure. read more

They offer a flight of 3 wines, about 3 ounces each, so that you can test some of the options available, and perhaps buy a bottle to bring back home. The wines I tasted were very good and ran the gamut of many countries, bodies, and tastes. While waiting for a friend, I made some new ones (this being Siesta Key) and they had some advice on which wines to sample next. All in all a comfortable, pretty, and relatively quiet place to meet up apart from the hustle bustle of the rest of the village. read more

Love love love this place! Went there a couple months ago and enjoyed a comfortable, beautifully designed interior with a HUGE wine selection! Everything is so fairly priced and the wine tender was very knowledgeable. Today, someone rang my doorbell. The owner was standing there with two bottles of wine that my wonderful mother in law had ordered for delivery. Melonie was so kind in delivering these during the COVID19 disaster and the wines are delicious (yes I tried both bottles). The owner did not wear mask and made us very uncomfortable because she got extremely close and when we left the establishment, we were shamed for wearing our mask by one of the regular patrons. We also were treated poorly by the owner. They seemed like they were not a ver culturally diverse. Also, she made the comment that she never get four men in here establishment and this was not the norm. She only gets men with their wives. It made us very uncomfortable. read more

Recently purchased by new owners Stu and Darlene Gamble they quickly made this location their own with a fresh remodel. As we entered Stu was friendly, welcoming and explained that they did flight tastings. We were able to choose from any wines they offered. We we're offered a selection of wines from across the country and world to taste. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, the wines were excellent !! My friend and I stopped in to try some wine before meeting up with some family. We asked if we were able to do wine tastings, to which we were told by the woman who owns the place, no, we could order a flight of 3 for $10, because 'rent is too expensive here to offer you a tasting.' We were both taken aback at the words and the tone of the statement. We were completely willing to pay for a tasting, but wanted to be able to sample more than three large pours of wine to determine what we like before buying a glass/bottles. We immediately agreed we would each do a flight of three, but not order any additional tastings and not buy a glass or bottle due to the service. After receiving our two flights, another employee, Alex, came in. He was so personable and it was solely due to his service that we decided to purchase a glass of wine from him too. We did really enjoy the wine and the male owner showed himself to be friendly as we sat and chatted with Alex. If we weren't leaving town the next morning, we would have purchased a bottle due to the improved service. This place is lucky to have Alex because he not only sold more wine, but he is the sole reason I'm giving the place a four star review and will now plan to return on my next visit. EDIT: Clearly I need to make some clarifications since the manager decided to rudely make some assumptions. I clearly said above we were willing to PAY for a tasting. We go to wineries all over, throughout several states, and frequently are offered both free AND paid tastings where we can get small sips of several wines vs. just larger pours of three. That's all we were inquiring about so we could taste more of the flavors and have a better chance of finding one we liked and would want to buy. Just because I mention buying a bottle, then mention leaving the following day didn't make my statement 'not true.' Our plan was to go in, quickly taste to see which we'd like, then order a glass or a bottle to drink in person at the wine bar. By the time we were done selecting (and no, YOU didn't suggest wines to us since you walked away immediately after your comment on the rent, your husband did, and he was helpful and right about what we'd like...and I didn't realize that taking a few minutes to make a selection when we were first time customers meant we were 'hemming and hawing' to your dissatisfaction - I'll make a mental note to speed up my wine selections in the future) and drinking our flights (yes FLIGHTS plural, we each had a flight - we didn't split one flight, but I'm sorry if you saw us sharing all six flavors since we were so happy with the flavors we wanted the other to experience them too), we were getting too close to the time we had to meet family for dinner, so we opted to buy a glass instead of taking the time to drink a full bottle. My friend brought me here and she doesn't even belong to Yelp, so it wasn't until we had already ordered the flights and about to receive them that I checked in and saw the free wine glass offer and she thought that would be a fun souvenir too, so then she signed up for Yelp while in there. If you don't want to offer the glasses and are going to bash people for using the offer, then take if off Yelp and don't offer it any longer. Yes, I did say I checked in as a method to remember to leave a review AFTER Alex was asking what a check in did - he wanted to know if it benefits the wine bar. I was explaining that I wasn't sure what it did on the business side, but that's how I used check ins. Maybe if you hadn't been sulking in the corner, you would have gotten some context in the conversation and saw what we actually drank. Trust me, I'm far from on a budget (as you can see from my hundreds of reviews on here, I just love spending my money on food and drinks), and implying someone is cheap just for asking questions about your tastings is extremely rude. In the end, I gave four stars, complimented the wine, your husband, and your staff, so all of this is really unnecessary and just further demonstrates my point. read more

Upon entering the establishment it seemed very welcoming and a great place to try some great wines. The owner said,"Normally only have wives dragging there husbands and not 4 guys" which should have been our exit point. We had to ask for something to clean our pallets while all other patrons already had a nut mix. Additionally, FL is at an all time high for new carona virus cases and owner failed to wear a mask and some of patrons made comments while leaving business saying we don't wear mask hear. read more

This is a fun little place for wine tasting. They offer all Florida local wines for tasting as well as a few other options. We tasted about 5 or 6 wines each and enjoyed most of them. We ended up going home with two bottles...which were priced at $18.99. A bit higher than you pay at Total Wine, but def worth it for the fun of the tasting experience, which was free. The two women working were very knowledgeable and friendly. I think they would've let my wife continue tasting for the entire afternoon if she tried. I mean what better did we have to do in the rain!
