I made a significant payment for eye exam, glasses and contacts. The eye exam was fine, but I had…read moreissues with the glasses and contacts. I went to Trillium 3 times as my glass were so uncomfortable and painful I couldn't even wear them. Every time an adjustment was made a different part of the glasses caused pain. In addition these are progressive glasses and when the adjustments were made they didn't fit on my nose correctly which caused issues - I can only see farsighted. When the last adjustment was made I was rather concerned and asked 'what if I can't wear these'-I was told to check Amazon for some kind of eyeglass gear and if needed to call the manufacturer. Although effort was made to fix my glasses I don't see why I should be searching for something to fix my glasses nor call anyone. I purchased the glasses from Trillium, although you may not be legally liable, I would expect much more than this. Well I got arm guards for the arms of the glasses and it didn't work. Now I have scaley, red soars on the sides of my head and they hurt.

The staff was incredibly welcoming while promptly confirming my details from the patient intake/insurance form. Dr. Poon was quickly available to start my exam utilizing new and state-of-the-art equipment. She was engaging, thorough in her examination and took the time to discuss how my vision might change with age and even recommended Ocusoft Hypochlor Gel for my dry skin patch on my eyelid that I get occasionally during allergy season. The young lady that I dealt with on my lens prescription was very informative and gave excellent customer service. The cashier was awesome, very friendly and was chatting with us, very informative also. She checked us out and we left . We went to lunch and I went to look at my invoice and I notices it did not show my vision insurance copays. I called back to the office and spoke with a nice man, named Darrin. He got my info, looked up my account and said they did not have my insurance info in their system, he got what he needed and said he would get with the optical department. I got a call this morning, he told me everything had been entered and yes, I was due a refund and he could credit my card right then if I could give him some info. He ran the card while I was on the phone with him, told me how much everything was and this $$ was my refund back to my card. He apologized for the office's error. I just want to tell the whole office staff and to Darren , Thank You for your Prompt service of correcting this error. The lady at the front desk asked me for my name and phone number to "put me on the schedule." I told her that I was just looking and did not want an appointment. She pressed me further and told me that they wanted to know who is in the building, which seemed odd. So, I gave her my name and phone number. Then, she asked for my birthday. I'm more or less flabbergasted at this point, since the business is located in Orange Park, not Beverly Hills. I told her to just put down 1/1/2020. Another staff member came out to request my birthday because they want to know who is in the building. Good grief, do they have a lot of thefts in that area? I have never had anyone ask for my personal details in order to look at eyeglasses frames.

After dealing with the hassles at Eyeglass World for the last two years, I decided to try a different approach. These folks know the value of excellent service. Despite my teenage daughter browsing their selection for nearly 2 hours without choosing frames from them, they maintained their friendly, non-pushy attitude and really seemed to care more about my daughter's happiness with her choice than about making a buck. She's 15 and must have taken 20 pictures with different frames and "twitted, or twitterd, or whatever" to just about every friend she has... "Do you like these or these?" At the end of that timeframe I was ready to scream, but they just offered us juice, water or soda. Our family will make this their first choice every time.
