Really taken aback by my experience with this provider for what I was seeking which was a beauty treatment. I bought a microdermabrasion facial on Groupon thinking that I might find a cool new place as my previous facialist had moved out of town. Booking my appointment was easy but the first time was cancelled by the office due to an ill facialist. Illness happens, okay, no worries. The second (rescheduled) visit though, was dismal. Minus Star - First of all, this is NOT a spa. This is a doctor waiting room playing spa muzak. Was horrified that I didn't know this and left my mask in my car. While they did provide me one, no-one at reception was wearing hers of the three visible staff. When one goes for treatment, there are folks chatting in the area just outside the treatment room door. Not relaxing. Minus Star - Second of all, the waiting room was packed. I overheard two ladies complaining to each other that they had been waiting for over an hour. The receptionist told me there wasn't a room yet available. After 25 minutes of waiting I told her I couldn't wait anymore. Ended up being treated within 2 minutes. That made my departure 90 minimum after arrival. Minus Star - The treatment room was not comfortable. I mentioned this to Myra my facialist and she said it was cold but didn't ask if I wanted another blanket or anything else that could make me comfortable. I had to ask for a bolster for under my knees, but what she ended up bringing me was a small pillow, like you'd have on the sofa. Minus a half Star - There were many positives about the facial but big ugh was bright light in my eyes whole time with no eye covering. While there were redeeming qualities about the facial, this was endemic to what felt like a lack of personal attention to the comfort of the client. Minus a half Star - the bathroom in the doctors office was not functioning. If you want to use the restroom, you have to go down the hall. Would have been nice to know this before my treatment.... Again, this is part of the lack of holistic attention to the client. The facial its self was fine. She did a good job getting my skin clean and the oxygen did keep it from running. However, the sunscreen or whatever topical cream she applied before I left made my skin sticky. Came back for my 2nd facial and it was a worse experience. Not as long a wait but aesthetician did not even introduce herself, never told me what she was doing as she was doing it and then when she finished, I asked her where was the oxygen and she said they weren't doing that anymore. What?! TL/dr: Not a spa experience but a okay facial. read more

Here is service with results. Doctor Sachar has helped me in many areas. On this occasion, I have to share the life changing results she can bring onto someone with rosacea. Within one month, I was no longer in physical pain on my face. Within two months, my face completely cleared. Thereafter, she used a laser on my skin every month for six months. I've not had any breakouts since. I highly recommend her. A Doctor with heart. She truly cares. If you have trouble booking her, it is only because she's that good. She's worth the wait, though. So happy I found this place! Myra took care of me and my tired skin. She was equal parts chatty, explaining her next move and products, and quiet, letting me have a relaxing time. What can't I say about Med spa !? This place honestly is so welcoming and so positive! I've been coming for the past two months and every time I come I feel heard and motivated to continue my weight loss journey! I was recommended by my insurance company to see Dr. Sachar for some G.I. issues. I wasn't in a very emotionally healthy space before visiting her office, but upon walking through the front office door I felt as if I entered another world. A wonderfully pleasant healing world. While waiting just for the few seconds I needed to wait I started to feel at ease. Her staff was very polite and treated me like I was the most important person on the planet. Of all the doctor's offices I've been to, Dr. Sachar's office is by far one of the most aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally calming. This review is long overdue. Way earlier this year I came in for a series of treatments and my technician, although nice, seemed to not know professional boundaries. I felt trapped there while my technician unloaded onto me such private details about her life, her breakup/divorce. It felt like a therapy appointment for her while I just laid there uncomfortable and not knowing how to evade this. She would get distracted with her monologue and would leave the device on areas of my face without moving it which burned me as a result. She'd also then take the device off for long periods of time to finish her speeches which altogether adds up and takes away from my treatment time. She also spent a lot of time complaining about the establishment which puts the client in an awkward position. It still pops up from time to time how strange this whole thing was, especially after visiting many med spas this year where technicians do NOT do that. read more

I got a 2 facial package for this place off of Groupon and initially picked this place because it had good reviews and they weren't wrong :) When I walked in the front desk girl was very kind so right off the bat I had a good first impression from this place! The esthetician (Jeannine) that did my facial was amazing. She had perfect customer service skills and was super gentle on my skin. We talked throughout my facial (I talk a lot) and she made me laugh and smile throughout the whole thing! If you come here, request her! She's very thorough and by the time she was finished I couldn't believe we were already done because I had so much fun just getting a facial. Her office and staff have always been very helpful and welcoming to me. Dr.Sachar's offers many other types of services at her office located in Torrance. Wonderful microdermabrasion treatments are performed here. My aesthetician was Olivia I believe..? I had the Groupon for 2 treatments, both of which were wonderful and extremely detail oriented. She tailored each facial to my skins needs that day whether is was more hydration or more extractions. I discovered this medical spa from Groupon. I have been getting microdermabrasion facials and forma treatment. The facials have definitely improved my face skin. Laura is great and provides a lot of knowledge about skin care. The staff is nice and the office is always really clean. This is and was my first and last time at Signature Med Spa. I purchased (in person) their body fx package plan: 2 for $700.00. I would have loved to be a customer at their facility, but they have ruined any chances of me going back there. I recently had to go to the emergency room and got bad news. On the day of my second appointment, I called Signature Med Spa to let them know that my doctor told me that I can no longer receive treatments there. I sent them a doctors note and everything, but they told me that I cannot receive refund for prepaid packages. So, you mean to tell me that a customer who is paying to a company their money all at once receives no refund, vs a customer who will pay little by little. The service of the Body FX was simply great, comfortable, and relaxing. I will admit that, and the staff are amazing and kind and the beauty of the spa clinic is wonderful, however my bad rating stem from their ability to not refund me for the package I did not complete. They never once told me before booking, in email, in person, or in written documents about their zero refund policy on packages that are paid for. I paid the day I received my service and the nurse never mentioned that I wouldnt not be able to receive a refund. If she had, I would have probably hesitated to pay for 10 session treatments. I see that the reviews are all good, and I have no doubt in mind that the staff and the treatments are a success, but the payment refund issues and policy information communication and notification is not up to par. And the thing is, when I usually ask for my refunds I am almost certainly to probably use it for a facial at a facility, but the fact that they werent even willing to refund me let's me know that I would rather spend my money elsewhere. I dont care if they are saying they will apply it to other services, the fact is I wanted my refund back for sessions I did not complete. Let me make the decision on what to do with my money..it should not be the companies decision to chose how customers want to spend their money. read more

Started using Dr. Sachar's new Biotin gummies a few weeks ago, and my boyfriend who barely notices a new haircut commented on how good my skin looked this weekend. I notice a major difference in my skin, and my hair and nails always grow fast, but now they're starting to grow in stronger, which means less breakage!! I have to stop myself from eating more than two gummies a day because they're so good. So, so, so excited that a bottle is only $22!!
