Signature has been my go-to nail salon for years. It is close to my home and they always do well at fitting me in when I walk in. This salon is enormous, to start with, so you know it will be easy to get into. You can either walk in or make an appointment. I really enjoyed my pedicure. I went with a friend, we got right in, and it was efficient and relaxing at the same time. I really enjoyed my experience here. After having a horrible experience at Andy's nails, I was a bit scared that something like that experience would happen. But it was totally different. When we got there, me and my friend asked how long of a wait it would be to get two manicures and they got us in right away. That surprised me a lot because it was homecoming weekend so I though we would have to wait for awhile. We got our color and sat down, then the ladies proceeded to do our nails. She started by cutting my cuticles and I was very scared because this is where Andy's nails screwed up and cut half of my fingers. But she didn't cut any of them! I was so happy. My experience was so much better here and they were a lot more positive. There price here for shellac nails is $25 where Andy's nails is $35 which makes no sense because signature is a whole lot better. They also spent 40 minutes trying to get my friends acrylics off that Andy's nails forgot to put primer on before putting the fake nail on. Props to them for trying. read more

My manicurist took a phone call and made at least one phone call while working on my nails. Then I watched her use the tools that she had planned on using on my nails to scrape dirt out of a crevice on the table. Her workspace was filthy. There was very little arm massage. She had to send someone to try to find the shalwar polish but both bottles were basically empty. She had to put on three coats just to get them covered. The only reason I'm giving it one star is the manicure turned out pretty well. read more

DO NOT GO TO SIGNATURE NAILS ON MEREDITH. Went with a friend and every time I've come, they do not let you sit by the person you come with. My technician sliced my finger open (to the point there was blood) and then proceeded to put a chemical IN my cut. She continued to use alcohol on my cut and "kept forgetting". On top of that, I was told they didn't have the color I wanted (it was on the shelf) and my nails look horrible. None of them are straight, the polish is THICK and she did not clean up under my nails or my cuticle area. I will NOT be going here again. Have tried this place a few times because it's such a convenient location for me and every time I leave the experience has been lacking. I just stopped in for a pedicure and the girl doing my nails didn't give a massage it was just rubbing the lotion on my legs, she didn't remove all my previous polish and the polish is messy. This place is close to me so I come here every 4-6 months to get my nails done. I was running errands today, gave them a call at 11:45 and asked when they could get me in. My appointment was made for 12:30. It was busy this afternoon but they got me in right on time. Much to my surprise it hasn't been added to yelp- Whaaat?! I'll take care of that! What keeps me coming back? Nice nails. The staff. Wine. There are a couple of ladies who work here that are pretty hilarious- Cindy and Tu (sp). If you're a newb here and have somewhat of a fun personality, make an appointment with them. They will make a regular out of you :) Today Van fixed me up and as usual, I was happy with my nails. This is my relaxation escape. If I want me time and pretty nails, I come here. Sometimes I will bring a bottle of wine or little baby bottles to sip on. If I don't bring my own, they have some. My shellac mani ran me $26.50. I don't know how that compares to other establishments. Seems reasonable to me. They provided the worst pedicure I have ever had here or anywhere. All of my polish chipped off in less than a week. They told me to upgrade to their $50 pedicure to remove calluses, which they didn't even do well. I called and they said they would repaint my nails and then when I showed up they argued with me about it and didn't want to repaint my nails. Not worth it at all. read more

My current spa went under new owners so I thought I would try this one. I guess I should have tried the new owners and stayed at the old spa. It was easy to get this spa in which is a plus but when I arrived I had told them my appointment was a pedicure I was sat at the nail stations. Finally when asked about my nails I said not my nails they are real I need a pedi. Moved to a chair but no water. The lady next to me doing a pedi started the water but must have forgotten to turn on the hot. Once I stuck my feet in I asked to have it warmed up. Finally reaching pee warm the girl returned removing my current polish and left again. 27 mins later a gentleman appeared than disappeared for 15 mins and returned saying he will do my pedi she went to do a manicure. I again asked for warm water as it was now beyond cold. Nothing! The quickest pedi ever under 13 mins it was completed and not even my normal side cuticle, or sugar srub or heel scrum etc done. I guess he was in a hurry. When rinsing he mention water was cold and I grinned and said very cold. As he went for hot towels there were none and another 5 mins passes as he comes back put towels on my legs for 5 seconds (no joke) and said good now. Not even enough for me to feel the warmth. I was to have a facial but glad they forgot me....would hate to see how that turned out. I guess my first visit was horrible non relaxing I sure wish Andy was still in Grimes I never had a bad disappointing pedicure with him. Not sure what to do now for a nail spa :( read more

STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY This "business" deserves zero out of five stars. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. No person should feel bad after getting their nails "done." I was humiliated to the point of tears as they verbally argued with me in front of the entire salon when I came to have my nails corrected from the day before. I was told to come back if i didn't like the mismatched colors. When I returned, I received pushback from all who worked there, and was told "it's the manufacturers fault the colors don't match. All we can do is just paint over your dip with regular polish." A customer should not feel bad for paying AND TIPPING for a service. But the cherry on top was all of the employees laughing behind me as I tried to have my nails corrected. I turned around and smiled and finally they were at least more quiet. If you can't do the job right don't do it. Or at least tell people in advance that you're going to do it wrong and you don't care because you need to leave and go out. I work two jobs and don't have time to be lied to or drive all over town to only be publicly humiliated. Zero out of five stars. I will NEVER be back and plan to tell everyone I know or even strangers I see in public, to stay away from this rude and terribly sad looking establishment. read more

Great pedis, great manis, and great prices! There is a certain guy there who really takes his time on the manicure. When he does mine, the polish almost lasts 2 weeks, whereas it lasts a week tops when anyone else or anywhere else does them. I've only had one pedicure here and it was fantastic. I do wish they would use hot towels or something on the legs like other places but they really take their time in every other area where it seems lots of other places lack. I would definitely recommend this place for shellac manis, regular manis, and pedis. I normally get regular polish on my toes as it seems to last quite a long time still for a little less moolah. read more

Pedicure chairs are upgraded and so comfortable. I get my brows done here for an extremely fair price also. The salon is very nice and clean. They did a great job on my pedicure and my daughter loved the little kid chairs! However, I have been twice now and both times I have felt super rushed. They are very busy on weekends, which means that they are good. But, I felt like I couldn't ask for a design or anything extra because they kept asking the girl doing my pedicure when she was going to be done. I'm not saying I wouldn't go again, but maybe on a weekday when they are not so busy. read more

His staff and customer service has always been outstanding . He has taken me in a pinch when I slammed my thumb and broke my nail down to the cuticle. His staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They don't have any swatches of the gel polish, you're expected to just pick from the color that is printed on the label. Also they don't put any bath salt in the water for a pedicure so just plain old water. Seems either lazy or cheap. read more

This place is terrible. From the unwelcoming greeting(no one greeted us at the front desk..a lady doing a manicure just shouted to us as we walked in asking what we were there for) to the HORRIBLE job they did on my daughter and her friends manicures...I was appalled. I scheduled my teenage daughter and three of her friends shellac manicures for her birthday. Two of the girls had BLEEDING cuticles afterwards. I am not even kidding or exaggerating. I'm not talking a small knick. I'm talking bloody. This is absolutely not acceptable. Also, I saw on their pamphlet that they offer a 10% discount for a clients birthday. I told them it was her birthday and they literally just stared at me..and then repeated the same price back to me. Also, for what this place charges they should also offer beverages like comparable salons in the area. Nope. Not impressed with anything about this place. Needless to say, I won't be going back there ever again. And I'm making sure to let everyone know about our experience as I would hate anyone to ever have to experience what we did. read more

They have always been accommodating the business has always been clean and the staff is always cheerful. I myself have never had a problem here. Their prices are on target and offer many services.
