I was referred to Bluestar by my real estate agent and decided to give them a try. I did some…read moreresearch, and they seemed like a decent company, but after 26 years in the construction industry, I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service, especially from an inspection company. First, they rescheduled last minute, and not once did anyone call to confirm if I was available or respect my time. Second, they never communicated the price for the inspection beforehand - I only received a price through a calendar invite. Then, the day of the inspection, the inspector (who I believe was the owner) decided, on the spot, to charge me more than what was quoted. Instead of discussing the report, he led the conversation with, "My price is $560. Do you agree with it? Otherwise, I won't discuss the inspection report." This kind of conversation should have happened before the appointment was even scheduled, and a call about any pricing adjustments should have been made in advance. To make matters worse, if you don't agree to his pricing, he will leave without apologizing or honoring the original price. This behavior screams red flag and scammer vibes. I would not recommend Bluestar to anyone.
