On each one I watched where they placed the ladder to get on my roof, if they were on time, if they communicated with me, even how they followed up with me and a lot more. I felt that how they took care of me when they came to do an estimate meant a lot. I also checked to make sure that the company had a permanent office or warehouse. I checked Yelp, Angie's List, and BBB reviews. I wanted a company that had permanent employees not ones that they picked up that morning. I was highly disappointed with a lot of the other companies. Some failed all my tests miserably. Sanders Roofing however shined through like a diamond in the rough. They were very respectful of my property and they were very knowledgeable. Eric was awesome...he went over everything with us in great detail so we knew what to expect. Eric was on site every day to make sure that the work was getting done properly. Alonzo who was in charge of installing my new metal roof was wonderful. He and his crew did everything they could to make it easy for me. They were also very respectful of all my property and time. I could tell the crew had worked together for some time. They all knew their jobs and got started and stayed busy the whole time. They all seamlessly knew what to do from start to finish. It was a chaotic dance from tear down to finished product but the crew made it look effortless even though it is very hard back-breaking work. First off they spray painted all of the vents and flashing to the vents on top of the roof on the newly placed shingles instead of taking them off and doing it before hand. The roof had waves in it did not look flat at all. We tried calling Ron Johnson which is the owner about this thinking he would fix the problem. NO HE DID NOT! Instead told us that he wouldn't talk with us about this he would only talk with our inspector so he says. ... Umm what?? Ok so we move on and get our realtor involved. She calls and finally gets one of his workers if he was even a legit worker of his to come out to our final walk through. We found that part of the outter edge of the roof had been bent and on the back side of the roof had tar parks on multiple shingles. This Guy Greg said it was no problem and he would fix it before we closed on our house. Ok great! Well some of what he said was true they fixed the spray paint and replaced the shingles and evened out the shingles that had appeared to be Wavy but did not fix the spot where the roof had been bent. Said he would be back the next day. It will be 5 days since he said he would be back. Our Realtor has tried to contact Ron multiple times and each time answers and hangs up with her. My Fiance has also tried to contact them and he did not return his call but had his wife call him back telling him that the job had already been done which it had not been.
