I hired them with a living social discount and while they were super nice I wasn't happy. They didn't dust a lot of the surfaces and only really vacuumed and cleaned the kitchen stove top and bathroom well. I didn't complain because the house looked better and I could never have gotten the stove clean but I had to dust where they missed and rewashed all the floors. They were sticky for some reason. They arrived 45min early, luckily I was home and finished in less than 1.5hrs. I paid for 4 man hours or 2 hours with two people. It was disappointing. I was SO looking forward to having my apartment cleaned and could not be more disappointed. I purchased the LivingSocial deal, after reading all of the 5 star reviews from customers who had done the same. I made an appointment for a 9am cleaning and got confirmation. He did say "around 9am" which is understandable with other jobs, traffic, etc. However, "around 9am" generally means sometime between 8:45am and 9:15am. I was going to let him in, show him around, then leave for work. When no one showed up, I started calling and texting at 9:15am and didn't get a response until 9:30am. At that time I was told they wouldn't be there for another 20 minutes. I told him I could not wait that long and had to leave to go to work so he would have to reschedule for either that night or the next morning. 9:50am does NOT constitute "around 9am". I told him that if he couldn't reschedule for that night or the next morning then I would be asking LivingSocial for my money back. He told me to go ahead and do that - which is exactly that I will be doing. read more

I purchased a Living Social discount and I am extremely pleased with the services I received. They texted back right away and when I asked about booking something next week they said unfortunately no but had a Saturday (tomorrow) opening at 10am. I explained I had to go to work at 10am and could not let anyone into my condo complex at that time. They countered by accommodating my needs and asking if 9am was good... 9am.. the next day! Of course I said yes and a huge thank you. The two sweetest people showed up at my door this morning and got right to work. Before I left I let them know the floors needed some love. They asked if the floor cleaner was ok and saw my hesitation and said they would clean with just water. Well, I just got home and my condo looks outstanding. The didn't miss an inch of my place. I could eat off the floors they look so great. When I went into the bathroom, they even folded my hand towel into this lovely shape and made my toilet paper roll into a beautiful rose. I feel like I walked into an airbnb! I even left some glasses to fill with water if they got thirsty and didn't touch them. I hope next time they quench their thirst, because I'm sure they worked up a sweat with the A++ work they did! I didn't even have to print the coupon; they redeemed just by simply asking my name. This is the 4th cleaning service that I have tried, and it is my favorite so far. At a fair price, I really like how 2 people arrive and clean with their own supplies. For a 4 bedroom, 3 bath Cape, it is about 2 hours of work-usually a general clean (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, bathrooms, kitchen counters.) I have not used them for a deep clean yet. (Not regularly doing the walls or kitchen cabinet faces-but Viny has been easy to communicate with via texting and he is open to your feedback.) BE SURE TO ASK FOR THE EXTRA WORK THAT YOU WANT DONE SO THAT YOU ARE HAPPY. There are many different cleaners, so it is helpful to be clear about your expectations each week. I was thrilled to have 4 people arrive on Thanksgiving week and they were ready to do extra requests to get ready for the holiday. Sometimes I am not home and they have been trustworthy for months. Sometimes I am home frantically picking up rooms as they start cleaning the other ones and this works out fine too. Everyone I have met has been friendly and they are open to listening to what you want done each visit. (For instance, one week I asked them to vacuum under couch cushions and the next week I asked if they could vacuum the stairs to the playroom.) I purchased a Groupon for two hours of cleaning with Sil and Viny. Within a few days, Viny called me back to book a date, which was fantastic. His cleaning crew was friendly, professional and worked fast. Three people were able to finish my two bedroom apartment in under an hour, which is not an easy feat. With that being said, I did come home to a ceramic floor vase broken into pieces, but turned the other way so I wouldn't notice the damage. I sent Viny a photo of the shattered vase and he reimbursed me for the cleaning service, which was very nice and professional, despite the cleaning crew saying they didn't break anything. It was not broken before I left, I'll say that... Because Viny was apologetic and reimbursed me for the accidental break, my confidence in the company was restored. I'll consider booking another cleaning with Sil and Viny based on that alone. read more

Sil and Viny Cleaning did a wonderful job cleaning my condo today! I made a mess of my condo while moving out of it this weekend. Thanks to the bad weather during the move, the hardwood floors were a disgrace. On top of that, we left the bathroom and one of the bedrooms embarrassingly filthy. I contacted Sil and Viny Cleaning yesterday and they came in today and made the place look immaculate. Not only did they do an amazing job, they also showed up in the middle of a snow storm where we got about a foot of snow. Sil and Viny cleaning do an amazing job and have the best price. Bought groupon hoping to find a permanent cleaner, Unfortunately it will not be this company. They were not horrible but really not worth the money. They did a great job in the kitchen cleaning all countertop appliances perfectly however they didn't even lift couch cushions when vacuuming or clean obvious messes such as drips down cabinets or a very smudged patio door off of our dining room. They arrived on time but didn't understand some of my requests. I was looking for more of a deep cleaning than surface which I do daily myself. The search continues. read more

I purchased a deal from Angie's List for 2 hours of housecleaning by 2 people. It was too much time for my small home, but I thought since their website says "all cleaning is deep cleaning" it would be completely spotless and would give me a break. Sadly, neither happened! The owner was unapologetic and would not give a partial refund for not doing what they were hired to do properly, and not doing what he said he would. I am tired of people not doing their jobs well and hope to spare other unsuspecting consumers. Here is the email I sent to the owner prior to writing this review. "I just want you to know that today's cleaning was not done well. Nothing seems to have been dusted. Several areas (the sides of the toilet, the bedroom rugs, the bathroom floor, the microwave door to name a few) looked either unclean or cleaned quickly and incompletely. You said you would clean the ceiling fans and they were not done either. As I mentioned many times our house is small (900sf) and has no clutter. I cleaned houses for years myself and am very neat. I am writing to ask if you will please refund me half the money I paid? I think that is more than reasonable, as I had to clean what I paid to have cleaned." The owner refused to refund any money and seems comfortable with an accurate and unfavorable review. If you expect a cleaning company to actually clean, this is not the company for you! read more

My experience was similar to Allisson G. Took forever to get an appointment. I got the 4 hour coupon, but when they actually showed up for cleaning, they only stayed for 2.5 hours. They refused to do half the tasks I asked such as cleaning the windows, inside of cabinets etc. They claimed that the promo coupon excluded those tasks although none of it was mentioned on the coupon. The only exclusions specified were oven and refrigerator. Very unprofessional indeed! read more

Not sure how good the cleaning would be since we got the groupon plus a promo code that was going on, but we gave it a shot anyway. Lady who came was very punctual and brought all her supplies. She did a great job on our one bedroom apartment. The place is spotless and smells fresh and clean. She even took the time to make a beautiful little rose out of our toilet paper. I had this company cleaning my house for the better part of a year when some furniture was moved and left a huge gash on my floor. When I called and politely asked what they could do, I was told the gash was there already and if I was unhappy I could change cleaning services. They do a nice job cleaning most of the time, but apparently do not interested in maintaining good relationships with customers. read more

2.0 star rating 6/5/2017 I was called at 8pm the night before to cancel my 10:30am appointment for thefollowing day. I was told I had to reschedule after requesting my money back or a additiona service I recieved a call back to state ONE of his girls( they advertize "Two man hours" could come out at 12. She arrived at 12pm. Did a great job upstairs worked her way down stairs got to the kitchen at exactly 2pm. Started to clean up her supplies ( I had to supply windex and pacper towles). I told her the kitchen and dining area were not cleaned yet. She told me her 2 hours was up. It was funny how the timing was perfect so that the main area in the house was left uncleaned. When I asked how much more to do my kitchen area she called her boss and told me $40. The 2 hours service was $80 (trhough groupon) $120 regular. The tissue boxes folded like flowers and the toilet paper folded into a V was a great touch, but I would of rather had the time spent on my house.So needless to say I was left to clean my kitchen and dining area. After they callied to cancel in less then a 24 hour notice, you would think they could of given that extra half hour to complete the house. WOULDN'T HIRE THEM AGAIN. read more
