There were only two people in front of us, and within a few minutes we were ordering. The serve Battenkill Valley Creamery ice cream here, which is pretty darn good stuff I must say. Apparently they also serve Cremewiches (don't call them Flying Saucers!) from Martha's Dandee Creme as well, which is a fantastic addition to any ice cream shop's menu. So we each tried a different flavor ice cream, and I got the PB sundae, which was absolutely amazing in spite of the owner apologizing profusely that he was out of whole peanuts and had to substitute peanut dust if that was okay with me. All of the products and ingredients there are top notch, and the server who I assume is also the owner does an amazing job engaging with each and every customer, carefully completes each order and keeps the line moving quickly. The nice thing about partnering with Cafe Vero means there is plenty of indoor seating available if you'd rather dine in, especially if you're eating after Vero closes. Remember how I mentioned an uncharacteristic lull? By the time the five of us got our orders, paid and made our way over to a booth, the line had extended out the door, which based on the quality and price of the product, I assume is a regular occurrence. It deserves to be. I've eaten at literally every ice cream joint up and down Canada Street and around to Million Dollar Beach, and this is the best stuff in town, hands down.
