I had the Adirondack sandwich, which was slightly spicy with the aioli. 2 in my party had omelettes, which are not on the menu but the kitchen accommodated. Classic breakfast meal and a bacon, egg and cheese finished our order. We also ordered 2 scones, which were not as good as we hoped. Overall, some ingredients seemed to lack freshness and/or could have been prepared slightly better. That said, we finished our meals and did not leave hungry. The apricot scone was okay. The apricot flavor was subtle which I actually prefer but it was a bit dry. The crumb cheesecake was very disappointing. Very little cheese flavor and no crumbs at all. My belly has been bothering me, so I needed something gentle for breakfast. We went to the Vero Cafe specifically for the oatmeal listed on the menu on their website. The less-than-friendly cashier said they don't serve that anymore since they moved. (Well, update the pictures and menu on your website!) We got egg sandwiches instead. They were nothing to write home about. Also got a healthy-ish-looking scone that was just ok. Bagels looked yummy, but I didn't think my belly would like that. Orders are placed at the counter before sitting down, and coffee was poured and handed to us before we sat down. Food was brought to our table though. Cute little spot with yummy breakfast and coffee. They do their baking in house and the bagels and crumb cake were great. Food was quick and they bring it out to your table for you. Our only complaint was that the sandwiches were very thin and could have definitely used more egg and bacon for the bagel sandwich and more buffalo chicken for the cold cut sandwich. Fantastic Breakfast Experience! My husband and I had a great breakfast here. The restaurant is bright, spacious, and comfortable -- perfect for a relaxing start to the morning. The space itself has a cool coffee shop vibe -- casual, inviting, and exactly the kind of atmosphere you'd hope for in a place like this. I kept it simple and ordered a straight-up black coffee along with a couple of pastries. The coffee was genuinely very good -- smooth, solid, and flavorful. That's where the place really delivered for me. The pastries, on the other hand, were a letdown. They were very dense and just not as flavorful as I was hoping. I wanted something light and tasty to go with the coffee, but they fell short. Overall, I'm not sure the juice is worth the squeeze. If you're mainly after a good cup of black coffee and don't mind the occasional wait, it's fine. Cute place and the girls at the register were very friendly. Espresso is very weak and the baristas were a little rude. TERRIBLE experience. My son has allergies and I kindly asked that we have allergen free food and "the kitchen" suggested we avoid everything altogether and just order from the pastries.... You order at the front of the counter, but if you're dining in, they'll give you a number and bring the food out to you. Drinks, you'd have to wait for them to call your name. For drinks, my gf ordered the Mango Smoothie. She found it to be delicious. I got the Tiramisu Latte, which was written on a big paper labeled specials. It was enjoyable. For food, I got the Homemade Corned Beef Hash. Came with eggs and toast, also on their specials menu. Would order again. My gf ordered the Breakfast Burrito, which is off of their regular menu. I just went grabbed a couple of coffees, the coffee is delicious and the staff greeted with a smile in early a morning which is always a bonus for me. I saw this place on tik tok that it was a popular breakfast place in lake George - tik tok didn't mention that you have to order up front and find your own seating. Upon arrival it was very confusing I had to find someone to ask how to be seated. There was only one menu to be found to order from. I feel this place is very unorganized. Also, once you are seated you cannot ask the waitress/waiter for a drink you have to go back up front and wait in line and order it which is ridiculous. My toast or anyone else in my parties toast was not toasted- it was a slice of bread with butter on it. The hash browns were absolutely disgusting and the pancakes tasted stale (like very hard and they didn't cut well with just a fork). We liked Vero so much we came here twice during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, we all ordered different items from the menu with no complaints.
