The food was very good! Service was kind and fast. We enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches and lavender latte while taking in the outdoor view. There is indoor seating as well. Best Bacon Egg and Cheese Bagel I've ever had!

The fact that this is an old bank that is now a small little breakfast place in Lake George is very neat. However, I'm not very impressed with this place. Let's start with the most rude greeter person EVER. We were in line and once it was our turn to order we went up to the counter and stood there for about 20 seconds with no words, just her staring at us.. before I said hello?!? Like you should be greeting me and asking me what I would like to order. Nope this lady didn't care at all and barely spoke to us. I said hello and then proceeded with my order. We then asked if the table that had some paper on it was being used and she said "she didn't know". So we proceeded to sit down at that table and wait for our breakfast. Those were the only words out of her mouth. The greeter/order taker said a brief few words to us but I can move past that. The iced coffee with some pumpkin spice in it tasted horrible. I don't think there was any pumpkin in there...The food came out pretty fast and as soon as it did, my girlfriend put some salt on her eggs and the entire dispenser fell apart and salt went all over her eggs. Now this is obviously not the cafe's fault but you would think that after a few people making a good amount of noise, someone would come over and see what's going on? Nope! My girlfriend ate the eggs and didn't want to ask the non-social greeter for new ones so that's a rough encounter. I got the French toast and was very excited to dive in until I was greeted with very average and bland French toast. Nothing special about the French toast. The eggs had a date with a container of salt and the coffee was thrown away after a few sips. Along with that and the nasty greeter this place was a one time trial and I will not be returning.

    Very cozy!

Yep, it really is a little old bank turned cozy eatery. I'm delivering to a hotel here in Lake George and got stuck overnight. Not a big menu but it has all the best stuff!!! If you leave here hungry it's your fault. Jane the owner and head (and only) cook makes all the food with a smile and you'll find yourself sitting a few minutes longer just to enjoy the warm atmosphere. Face it, you can get eggs at WaWa but you can only get eggs with a smile and good conversation at a place like the Bank Cafe. Next time I'm in Lake George I will be stopping in.

Great service. Paper straws!! Yay! Drink fast though! This bank cafe was once a bank and still contains the vault! You can walk inside to see items up for sale and just to check it out. Very neat! All the pictures hung out the wall shows it's a community cafe and definitely has its regulars. That it should! If I lived in the area I would be a regular. Great coffee and breakfast food!

Fantastic breakfast sandwiches. Bagel is toasted and buttered to perfection. Lake George is lucky to have this place! Also very conveniently located in LG village.

Really good! Stopped in yesterday at an odd time - around 4pm - to order early dinner take-out…read more We were hoping to try the masala fries - but they didn't have any fries. So, we ordered the Channa Papree as the appetizer. Dinner choices were the chicken tikka masala bowl and the chicken bowl...both are served with salads. We were told that it takes about 25 minutes to prepare the tikka masala (in case we didn't have the time to wait). We did! It was Saturday and we grabbed a strawberry lassi to enjoy while we waited. There is a nice seating area near the entrance so we hung out in the big armchairs. The lassi was good; it could have been blended more as most lassi concoctions that I've had are very creamy with just the right amount of yogurt tang....this one was "ice-chunky". But it was still tasty. As promised, the meals were ready to go in about 25 minutes. They traveled well and were still hot when we got home. I really enjoyed the channa appetizer; lots of different flavor layers throughout with just a subtle hint of spice. I tasted the chicken tikka masala; well spiced cubed chicken over basmati rice (same rice that I had with my chicken bowl). Some of the chicken pieces were really big and the portion was definitely generous. My sliced chicken was also really good - different flavor profile from the tikka. Since the salad is served in the same container, it gets pretty warm....but it saves having a separate to-go box for a small salad. They also have an entire rolled ice cream selection - plus chai-inspired hot drinks and other desserts available. I wanted to try the naan and asked if we could order a side of it. Unfortunately, they still considered it "lunch" time and couldn't sell me a piece or two of naan. I found that a little weird, but I chalk it up to being a fairly new business. Plus, the girls that were working in the front - I'm guessing - are not related to the owners. Friendly and competent enough, but always embrace an opportunity to upsell! I'll be sure to check this place out again soon.

It was for a birthday I made cannoli cake but didn't want to make the actual cannolis to save time but wanted a higher quality version than price chopper I also got a latte and it was very good- nice and hot (some places they're kinda cooler) The service was great a woman with short brown hair helped me & made the latte. It was a very cute cafe /bakery and idk if they make their desserts but if they do- great job! Im happy either way and the birthday boy said the cannolis were perfect.

This is a tragedy. And that is not a word I use lightly either…read more What kind of person buys a gem like Mrs. London's and doesn't take the time to learn the recipes, master the craft, and maintain the standards of what was once arguably the best boulangerie and patisserie in America? Seriously, there is someone here to blame. What is their name? I want to know. Sure, it's not a civil or criminal offense. But it's a crime against food. It's a crime against the people of Saratoga Springs. And it's just plane offensive. I regret if anyone was driven to try Mrs. London's based on my previous glowing reviews. I am so sorry. I had no idea. But I was just there this morning. I gazed into the pastry case at the croissants, and my heart sank. I felt sick. The croissants looked like something you would see in an airport. I think the croissants at Costco might be better. These were flat, flabby, and pale things. Far from the perfect, golden, flaky, structured, glistening beauties of the past. And this isn't about fond recollections. I have receipts. Photos from the past and pictures of the present. It's night and day. If the new owners aren't going to preserve Mrs. London's food, they should have the decency to put someone else's name on the joint. I too asked about the breads, and was told "their baker retired". Fortunately, Michael London taught other people to bake amazing artisan bread, and his legacy lives on elsewhere. Unfortunately, nobody at the shop bearing his name bothered to pick up the torch. What a shame. It is so sad. I am literally heart broken. This was one of my favorite bakeries in the country. I went out of my way to make a special stop in my limited time passing through the region. But I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this is a valuable reminder of that unfortunate fact. My days visiting Mrs. London's are over. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience. Perhaps the hot chocolate is still good, and the decor is still lovely. However, if you look closely at the glowing reviews, they all point back to a time that has now sadly passed.
