The French season, and a restretto that tasted suspiciously like drip coffee
    Mollie M.

Our breakfast here was a real vacation buzz kill. I tried and tried to rationalize our experience but really it just adds up to this restaurant being a particularly deceptive tourist trap. We got 2 French seasons 14 dollars each. 14 dollars pays for a drip coffee, a really dense croissant, and a pain au chocolate. Those three items would have been cheaper bought separately. The menu leads you to believe that you will get a juice, a coffee or tea, 2 tartines and 2 baguettes or pastries. The grammar is deceptive. The juice was on a separate line from the coffee or tea, Tartines are bread with spread but can mean lots of things, and there was no colon to link that the pastries and baguette were the tartine options. So, Really you just get a beverage and more or less two pieces of bread. Finally, my husband ordered a ristretto ( extra strength espresso) in addition to his French season, and What he was given tasted suspiciously like my big cup of drip coffee in a tiny cup. Most places don't have ristretto on the menu no one will miss it if it's not there... If you aren't that committed to coffee don't pretend to be. I should have come to yelp to read the reviews first but we had vacation goggles on!

Absolutely loved the ambiance of this place! Highly recommend it for lunch or brunch. The vibes inside were so French, appreciated all the decor and the little touches covering the walls. I ordered a salad and it was wonderful! My boyfriend ordered the risotto. All the food was well seasoned with fresh herbs and beautiful presentation. The owner is authentically French and told us about her story coming to the US and building this restaurant from scratch. She also brings goods and trinkets from France and sells them at the front. The pastries and desserts were amazing as well! Recommend the pistachio ricotta gateau. A tip- this place is dog friendly! We brought a Husky and they were very accommodating.

Stopped in for breakfast. The food is absolutely amazing. The waitress was extremely friendly and fun to talk to. The atmosphere in side definitely has a French vibe. The place is extremely clean and comfortable. The potatoes are the best I've ever had.

Delicious french food. And the bread! Wow. The service is friendly and the interior eclectically decorated. Definitely a step above anything in the Village.

Cute spot to sip a coffee, eat a pastry and order breakfast or lunch. Madeline, who owns it is a hard worker and really wants to crack the code to a year round dining experience. Wish her well! Come try it out.

Friendly, great atmosphere and yummy! A jewel just outside of the way-too-touristic Lake George town center.

Wishing this place still served dinner but happy to skip a crappy hotel breakfast and come here for some quality crepes and brioche eggs Benedict.

But my aunt and I were visiting from out of town for a family wedding up in Ticonderoga, and this was right next to the Clarion Inn. To escape the summer heatwave after a morning of window shopping at the local outlet stores, this place was a godsend despite how crowded and noisy it could get inside. Just watch out for the counter where all the orders are set for taking. With all the melting cold drinks, it's like receiving your beverage via a sticky water slide. Gross. Grab a napkin before you do. As I was treating her, my aunt decided to choose one of the less pricey drinks (cafe latte) which was basically just coffee-flavored ice water. In the end, my aunt ended up stealing most of my drink anyway - a new summer blend: brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. I was prepared for it to taste bland too, but it was surprisingly strong for a blonde espresso. The brown sugar and oatmilk combo lended well to its smokey flavor without being overpoweringly sweet. I haven't had a Starbucks drink I enjoyed this much since I discovered the hot chestnut praline latte a couple winters ago. Needless to say, by the end, we were practically fighting over the last sip. And on the way out of town the next day, I ended up ordering shaken espressos for both of us to take on the road. I might just have to see if I can track down this drink one more time at a local Starbucks this summer...

Cute breakfast spot on the tourist strip at Lake George…read more There is a dining room in the back and a to go counter in the front. The stand out for me was the Mountain of Maple Iced Latte. It was very good! Both my husband and I liked the bagels. I got an egg and cheese and he got bagel with lox cream cheese. Service was quick - staff was pleasant and made sure you knew what was up when you were talking to them. My only critique was it wasn't clear what beverage were hot or cold. When the server said my latte was iced I was psyched! My preferred! But I was prepared for hot. And did not know what it would be upon ordering it.

This was the perfect place for my needs- I ordered a bagel with cream cheese (not toasted) & my partner ordered a plain bagel toasted with jelly and butter. My partner liked his bagel. My bagel on the other hand was awful. The cream cheese tasted sweet and even chunky like cottage cheese. It was a horrible taste. It was also weird that neither of our bagels were cut in half they were left whole. I've never been to a bagel store where my bagel wasn't cut. But I'm from NYC so maybe in NY state they do it differently. The staff was very nice and efficient with our orders. If I came here again I'd love to try the coffee or the pastries. I wouldn't recommend the cream cheese at all.
