While he may partially technically be right in terms of meetings only, think again if you like to have this kind of ethics follow you during your case and weather something like this should cost 1,500 USD. read more

Strongly recommend staying away from this law firm and the lawyer Michael Pascoe in particular. I hired Pascoe to represent me in drafting a prenup in part because the reviews seemed very good. However, my experience with him was anything but that. My partner, who is a lawyer, found separate counsel via reddit, and both of us agreed the other counsel did a much better job. In contrast, I wish I had never hired Pascoe. Candidly, I was most shocked at the poor legal work, which could have cost me a lot of money in the event of a divorce. If my partner and her lawyer had just accepted Pascoe's prenup contract and we got divorced in the future, I would have had to give half of my earnings, vested stock, retirement money, and other money earned after marriage to my partner (and for context, I make more money than my partner). What's most astonishing to me is that the initial draft from my partner's lawyer accurately stated all of that money was solely mine, as my partner and I had agreed - yet, Pascoe actively changed the language in this initial draft to my detriment. Besides that, Pascoe took a long time to get the work done in my opinion (despite only making two rounds of revisions), ignored some of my emails asking about the status of the work, and made obvious errors even in the second/last revision. On top of that, he mistakenly emailed documents for another of his clients to my partner, which isn't great when you consider what types of personal information clients may give their lawyers. All in all, not exactly what you're looking for when paying thousands of dollars for a lawyer. read more

One of the worst attorneys I have dealt with. They took my case in early 2021, and in January 2022, the NEEDLE had not been moved A BIT a year later. No progress at all. They are very unorganized except when it comes to collecting. Every time we showed up at a hearing, My ex-wife herself or her attorney will take over the hearing and postpone it to another date. At one point, Michael Paseco had shown up for one of his lawyers, which I was working with (Evelyn Rodriguez), and he himself was not prepared and had no clue what to say but just roll over and postponed the date AGAIN. $30,000 later, I had to hire another attorney to take my case. The last draw for me was when the Exwife's attorney presented an order from 2013 on our divorce case in January of 2022, and Michael Passeco /Silicon valley Attorneys (Evelyn Rodriguez) had no clue where that order came from because they had never studied my file. Every attorney I spoke to when I was changing lawyers from these guys to another would 1st want to know my case number to review/study it so they could tell me A) whether they wanted to take the case. Save your money and time by not hiring their services. After spending 11k, there was no traction in my case. My testimony is in line with some others who have reviewed this law firm. Mr Pascoe has a great elevator pitch, promised false things and once I paid the retainer,no work got done and the only the charges went up. Their conduct was extremely unethical and they tie up with an incompetent accountant to get prospective clients and get commission off that. That accountant took two months just to see if she has all the documents she needs. "All talk and no work" is what this firm is known for. To add to this, when questioned about his conduct he simply quit the case instead of finishing up the work. My new layer was able to accomplish in two weeks what Mr Pascoe could not in a year. My new lawyer also found several mistakes made by the firm in the case. I had a difficult time with this law office. Michael quickly took on my case with a huge retainer 3x the amount my friend paid for her case. Then he gave the case to be handled by another lady who constantly made mathematical and clerical errors for simple things like child support money which I needed to fix which needed more back and forth which translated to paying them more money for the mistakes they made. Even once I withdrew from this law office after spending a lot of money, they kept on charging me. My new lawyers found mistakes from what Michael's law office made in my son's date of birth for which the court rejected the judgment packet further delaying my response from the court. This is my first review on Yelp but I could not not write a review for Michael Pascoe. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I retained him to help me with a very difficult custody battle with my ex husband who was asking for full physical and legal custody of my two children. The attorney I had hired before him gave me no hope. I was a lost cause. One of the first thing Michael told me was "I can't guarantee that I'll win but I will fight like hell for you". That's all I needed to hear. He ended up calling my husband's attorney before our court hearing date and wrote a great agreement that both my husband and I agreed to sign. Its a bit difficult for me to write this review, because if I mention the entire truth about my experience working with Michael and his team, it may sound too good to be true... but the fact remains it is true. So I will stick to what would be most useful for the reader to know. I reached out to Michael in June 2016; he and the staff were very responsive. They made their schedules work around mine. My marriage was extremely abusive and involved DV (domestic violence). Karen (Michael's paralegal), who has 30 years of experience helping victims of DV, and Michael make the kind of team that would be extremely rare to replicate. They pretty much brought me back from the dead. During this process I had to share such grave experiences of my 10 year long, abusive marriage, which I had not shared much with anyone before speaking to them. Right from the very first meeting to the many follow ups with Michael I have felt totally comfortable doing so without having to hold the gruesome and embarrassing details. He was empathetic, respectful, comforting and most importantly "Super knowledgeable". From getting the right restraining orders, communication with the authorities, to getting me help from victim services, enrolling into therapy, to advice on how to keep safe (safety plan) Michael and his team took care of it all. Ever since I reached out to him, I have never made a difficult walk alone and this process is a LOT to go through. In my case I also have my 3 year old child whose safety was paramount. He advised me on which supervised visitation facilities to use, how to keep her safe, he even interviewed the visitation supervisors to ensure they would fit my families needs and keep my little one safe.
