In and out in 12 minutes!…read more I was worried about going here bc of all the negative reviews. I am glad that I went anyway. Communication: I received a reminder text this morning. Thank goodness bc I completely forgot the appt! Parking: The lot was pretty full but I had no trouble finding a spot. I saw a few more near me as well. Check in: After parking, I clicked on the link in my text message and checked in from my car about 1 min early for my 11:00 appt. I walked in to see my name up on the screen already, so I knew it worked. A couple of minutes later they called my name. Service/Care: The phlebotomist was very sweet and cheerful. We chatted and after a quick poke she had 3 vials of blood. Above and beyond: I misspelled my name when setting the appointment and I was sure that it would cause confusion, but she figured it out no problem. She was patient while I got my insurance ID up on my phone to verify. I felt compelled to leave a review since the whole experience was the complete opposite of what some others reported. Have an appointment. Be on time. Remember that sometimes things happen - maybe a bathroom breaks, a phlebotomist calls in sick, a young patient takes 30 min longer than expected bc they are scared... Who knows what could happen? Luckily none of that happened while I was there and I recommend this location.

Terrible. The guy taking my blood was completely clueless and seemed like he was stoned. He took…read moresuper long at his first attempt, which hurt a lot. He tapped into a small vein and couldn't even get 1 tube of blood. He then said I needed a special "butterfly" needle. Another older nurse came and said that was not necessary and just took my blood from the other arm. It was done quickly. A few weeks later, I just got an email that they lost my blood samples. I also have a giant dark bruise that stayed for 2+ weeks. This has never happened to me before. Incompetent staff. Avoid this place.

Had a great experience here despite the bad reviews. Staff was super friendly and helpful and…read moredefinitely witnessed them being kind and patient with others. I think if anything, it's the fault of the doctors or the patient not understanding how the process works or that just some things are out staffs' control especially when it comes to insurance. I had to take my glucose test so had to stay for an hour then get my blood drawn. There was a separate room dedicated for those who had to stay longer like me. And I didn't even feel the poke when my blood was drawn! Will be coming back here again in the future. Ps. Parking kinda sucked but I was able to find a spot.

Her communication with patients was rude, condescending, and unnecessarily harsh. I observed her raising her voice, speaking down to patients, and behaving as though ordinary patient questions or needs were an irritation. Her demeanor during blood draws also appeared careless and dismissive, which is especially concerning in a healthcare setting. Patients should be treated with basic respect, professionalism, and attentiveness, particularly during clinical procedures. I hope management reviews this seriously, as the conduct I observed does not reflect an appropriate standard of patient care. I am certain that my experience can be corroborated by other patients.

I went to get my blood drawn this Saturday morning…read more I called before the office had opened to get directions and the answering machine referred me to an 800 number. The woman who answered told me they opened at 8:00 AM. Fine. I biked out there (about four miles) and waited. And waited. And waited. Figured maybe she meant 9:00 AM, so I waited. And waited. Finally I went next door to a nursing home, called the 800 number again -- turns out only one of the Westcliff's phlebotomy labs is open on Saturdays -- really nice for the working man, huh? -- and it sure wasn't this one. So I had fasted for 15 hours for nothing (except the discipline, I guess). Pretty ticked off and pretty hungry. Folks -- so many of our medical errands need to be done around the work schedule, and a blood draw is clearly one of them. Especially when you're talking about fasting. What -- you're supposed to eat an early dinner, get your sleep, then go through an entire day without so much as a Tic Tac for the sake of a two-minute procedure? For God's sake, SERVICE the people, service industry! What the hell.

i've been here twice in the past few months…read more the guy is really good at stabbing your arm with a thick needle. thats the initial prick of pain. then, about 30 seconds later, he jabs the needle even farther causing me more intense pain. this is the only lab where the nurse is SO rough. i've have my blood drawn at least 10-20 times in my life. this guy causes traumatic experiences. by far, he's the worst that i've ever experienced. my arm is still sore from the needle site. thats never happened to me before.
