I have been going to Shawn for wow I think 16 years for some of my tattoos and my brother and my ex boyfriend have all been tattooed by him as well. There's really no negative to this place at all they're welcoming their friendly they listen to your ideas they're very fairly priced and the place is incredibly clean. They never make you feel awkward or uncomfortable and they try to get you in as quickly as possible when their time slots allow. I've heard a few people rave about this place. I already had 3 tattoos with 3 very different experiences at different places that I wasn't really impressed with. I made an appointment with Sean and I'm very happy with his work. He was friendly, professional and seamed to move pretty quick. He may not have been as gentle as 2 of my previous artists, but that's alright. I'm not sure if it was a more sensitive area, if it was in my head or if it was the type of needle he used. I went in a little less than a month ago after booking in March to see Christian Masot for a bluebird tattoo. The wait was absolutely worth it! This tattoo came out even 10x better than I thought it would! I had my vision set on getting a tattoo from Christian for a while and I'm so glad I found him. Not only did the tattoo come out BEYOND beautifully, but the pricing was exceptional! He predicted $200/hr for 4 hours, so I saved up $1000 for the tattoo and tip combined. The tattoo ended up taking only less than 2 and a half hours, and he ended up charging me only $350 + tip. Just started my sleeve with Christian and his work is truly amazing. He is an artist and it's visible in his work as his attention to detail is impeccable. Right off the bat, my phone call was answered with a very friendly greeting and all my questions were happily answered. I went to the shop that same day to make my appointment. Again, as soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude. I was introduced to Vinny and we discussed my tattoo. He made me feel extremely comfortable and confident that he would bring my vision to life. I was having a quote that is very special to me tattooed on my foot. We set up my appointment and I was on my way. Two weeks later it was time to get my tattoo. I went in, filled out the necessary paperwork and finally got to see the design that Vinny came up with. He made sure that I absolutely loved it (which I did!) and we got ready to start tattooing. We agreed on the best placement for the tattoo on my foot and then got started. There's no way to decrease the pain, but Vinny worked quickly and carefully, occasionally asking if I was doing ok. When the tattoo was complete, he was sure to go over all the details regarding the after care of my tattoo. He assured me that if any issues came up with the healing, he would happily touch it up. I walked into the shop & the artists were all outside smoking arguing over who was going to help me. The artist who did my tattoo barley looked me in the eyes, did not care at all that it was my first tattoo. He seemed very bothered by my questions and that I was wasting his time. The edges on the circle I got are very poor & he did not spend much time at all on it. I paid $85 for a tattoo the size of a quarter (or smaller). Would never recommend. After my tattoo "healed" it became very itchy, puffy and burned. I went back several times and was sassed that it's normal because it's not red so there's no infection. No one responsible to talk to. I've been going to a dermatologist every 4-8 weeks to get cortisone injections which subside the swelling and itchiness for a short time. Very costly. The artist never unwrapped the needles in front of me so that I knew they were new, sanitary and clean. And he did not put a bandage over the fresh tattoo. Just allowed me to leave with an exposed tattoo. This tattoo was done 2 years ago! My dermatologist strongly recommends having the tattoo cut out. read more
