I stumbled upon Silk during one of my many Yelp searches for threading. After having called them to confirm that they still wear masks while working on customers, I decided to give them a try. I walked in, and there was only one person working, Sabita. I think she owns the place because her name is on the certificate behind the desk, but I am not sure if there are others. Upon arrival, she was working on another person, but she quickly greeted me. I am happy to report that she was, in fact, wearing a mask. When she got to me, she was very pleasant and polite. She asked how I wanted my eyebrows, and I told her to do what she felt best, based on the shape I have. She was careful to make sure I liked the job, as she asked me before she finished to take a look before she continued; I actually really appreciated that. Needless to say, she did a great job with my eyebrows! I had been looking for a good place to get my eyebrows threaded in this area for the last few years, and I am glad to have finally found that place! I will be returning! read more

I would not recommend this place. I brought my daughter here to get her upper lip and mid brow threaded and the lady missed up my daughter mid eyebrow. How is that possible? That should be by far an easy area to thread and apparently it's not. read more

I was excited to try this new threading salon and even more so to take advantage of the advertised 30% off for new customers. I showed the Yelp coupon to the threading artist who informed me that the salon wouldn't honor it even though it is clearly available through this platform. Yikes! Talk about getting started off on the wrong foot. Initially she threaded where it looked uneven due to a gap where I'm missing some brows on one side. I told her I wasn't pleased and to even them out. I think this could've been discussed prior to her beginning her work on my brows. After trying to be safe this whole pandemic, today was my first visit in nearly 2 years. I went on Sunday afternoon and it was empty. Sabita greeted me and had on two masks which made me feel so relieved. I too had two masks on. The background music was so calming and I felt well rested. She said they no longer honor the $5 Mondays but that they have a punch card. Rightfully so. This pandemic has hurt many businesses. I'm glad they are getting a price upgrade. My friends and I came here a couple weeks ago on a Monday (when you only pay $4.99 as opposed to the regular $6.99 price to get your eyebrows threaded.) I guess you get what you pay for; the place was completely empty and only one woman was working there, who originally I thought was just the receptionist but turned out to also be the one doing our eyebrows. I was hesitant from the beginning, but since I was already there, still decided to go through with it. Big mistake, even though I told the lady I wanted them left as thick as possible, with only a minor arch, she completely ignored my request and left them extremely thin and arched. YOU GUYS, I was so sad, I had grown out my eyebrows for moNTHS, and all of this growth was completely negated in a matter of minutes :'( Plus, she even left my eyebrows uneven, my left eyebrow ended up being thicker than my right eyebrow, and when I got home, I had to try to even them out myself. What's more is that my friends were also left feeling upset with the way she left their eyebrows. Maybe it was just that the lady was having a bad day, or was simply inexperienced, but either way, I don't think that I will be coming back to this place :-( read more

I walked in for a clean up and now I have thin thin eyebrows and still not clean . She reshaped my perfectly fine eyebrows. The other girl wasn't there that usually does it, so I tried that one, I'm not going back. She said that the other girls isn't coming back anymore. My technician was very pleasant, even with my several requests to go over a couple of areas again, she did so without a negative attitude. Found my new brow threading place, yay! I'm very picky about my eyebrows and usually do it myself, but every now and then I get so busy that I just let it grow out. I'm always appehensive when I get my brows done by someone else because it ends up jacked up half the time and I end up having to salvage it myself, ending up with eyebrows thinner than what I want just to correct my arches. I don't live in the area and found this place through Google. I didn't get her name, but the girl that was in station 2 did a great job cleaning up my brows.
