A quaint and peculiar little shop located on Main Street in downtown Blue Ridge. We were wandering around and decided to pop in Silk Road Traveler. This store certainly has an energy to it, one we unfortunately did not vibe with, so our visit was brief. They cater to the energy-centric folks with shelves filled with stones, incense, crystals and more. Additionally, they do a variety of readings on-site. We made a quick lap through the full store and sadly none of the three associates spoke or acknowledged us at any time. Overall, Silk Road Traveler is not my thing, but I can see it being attractive to others. read more

You can feel a shift in energy when you walk into this place. Good vibes and great prices. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and great to chat with. They have every crystal or stone you could imagine, wind chimes, books, sound baths, jewelry, etc. highly recommend this place, even to walk around and get some positive energy for your day! This is a very quaint little store. They have all kinds of inscense, and crystals, meditation tools and candles. Great little find in Blue Ridge. Mellow music plays as you walk in, and the shop keeper is very friendly. A true gem. You can also set up appointments to meet with astrological readers and tarot card readers. read more

This shop has a lovely spirit about it and is calming, there is so much to choose from and is reasonably priced, the attendant was well informed and went out of her way to assist me. I will always be back as long as this shop is here, I would love for them to offer more on the website as I've tried to look and see if I could purchase items I saw in the store but couldn't get during my visit. I love this store! I've been in several times and always had a pleasant experience, except for today. I read reviews from a guy below earlier, who posted about a rude lady and I thought no way. The lady I usually see is so kind and helpful, and I thought he was exaggerating. But today, I see we must have ran into the same lady. This store always gave me good vibes, but today this older lady who I've never seen in there in the past was RUDE. rude rude rude from the minute we walked in the door! It left a terrible taste in my mouth. Not only that, she followed us around the store as if she thought we were going to steal something. Seriously?! That's just bad karma. As we walked through briefly, she continued to have rude remarks and a nasty tone of voice. I'm so upset because I was showing my boyfriend who loves rock stores and this was his first time in there because he never knew this store was in blueridge. He was upset and so was I. First thing he said was he will never go back if that rude lady is there. Such a disappointment, and a terrible way to treat locals who support the business. we went in there to buy valentines gifts but instead left with a bad taste in our mouth. SOMETHING PRETTY THIS WAY COMES! The first thing you will notice when you enter this store is the smell. It is just a combination of all the different scents that are sold here, lotions, potions and candles. This store carries stones, crystals, fountains, salt lamps, clothing items jewelry and more. The fountains (currently 25% off), are all on active display so you get to see how they actually work. They would be a great gift for someone's den or office and are quite engaging. It is hard not to just stare at them. Beaded bracelets are very popular right now and especially for layering. This store had beautiful stones and different styles (elastic or fastener), that were not overdone and were very reasonably priced. I purchased a couple of bracelets to layer with pieces I currently own and I look forward to wearing them. The jewelry and the fountains were made by local artists and I love supporting a good cause. The employee was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed shopping at this particular shop. didn't want anything too fussy because I tend to layer my stones with my sterling pieces. read more

absolute shameful store. rude staff, overpriced chinese made items. we came in looking for little items for our vacation rental property in blue ridge and this white haired phycho path old lady was over my wifes shoulder the entire time. the sad thing is my brother and his wofe buy from this crap hole all the time i reccondee us to come by and our experience was just terrible. weve already told 25 people (tourist) in the area walking around how terrible the experience was. ill spread the word, social media and business development is what i do for a living, so spreading this crap hole is going to be simple, easy! stay away read more

One star because zero stars isn't an option. Today was the first time visiting this store. I believe in these times that if the merchant requires a mask it should be posted on the door and it was not. The owner then asked me if I was "one of those people" who don't believe in wearing masks. Which by the way she was not at the time as it hung around her neck. Only putting it on after the verbal exchange started where she stated she was sick so to stay away. (I have to wonder why she was there exposing an illness to her customers.) She then proceeded with her "questions". If I knew I was being set up to be berated, I would have just kindly left since I didn't have a mask on me and choose not to wear one unless I have to for medical reasons. She must have been bored since no other customers were present, to set up a customer to attempt to belittle and berate because they don't believe the same as her when she could have simply told me as soon as I walked in that a mask was necessary. She was out of control with her emotions questioning me and being sarcastic and down right nasty and still NOT asking me to leave or telling me I have to wear a mask. She proceeded by calling me one of the Q people and on and on when I simply stated that it is funny how the flu and common cold have just disappeared now that TheCorona arrived. I quickly went towards the exit to the store telling her she was obviously triggered and I was leaving and she made sure to make rude comments as I left. This lack of oxygen inhaled plus recycled carbon dioxide from wearing a mask obviously has done some damage to her. Treating ALL people with kindness and respect is how I conduct myself even if they have differing opinions , but this woman who owns a "spiritual" shoppe is obviously anything but spiritual. Shame on her. She's elderly and should know how to act in public and with customers. Some really sad times. I'd advise to go elsewhere since someone who claims to be intuitive and connect with spirits seems to probably be connecting with the dark ones. read more

Very knowledge sales staff and friendly vibes in this gem. Love the gogreen hemp CBD selection, one of the best i have seen yet.

This store was amazing from the moment I walked in. The smell is comforting and the feeling when you walk in is immaculate. The worker who we had, an older woman with long, grey hair, was very helpful and comforting. My sister was coming in for CBD oil, which she had gotten before, and the woman was extremely helpful letting her see and taste (safely) the special CBD oils they had there (orange taste, peppermint, coconut oil carrier oil is what I remember. The employee was extremely knowledgeable.) Walking around the shop was brilliant. Everything was organized and clean. They had practically everything you could want that relates to your metaphysical needs. Their prices were pretty reasonable and everything was simply beautiful. The whole shop had such a peaceful environment that I was refreshed when we returned home. All spiritual or otherwise folk, I highly suggest you stop in for a visit.
