Authentic Japanese cuisine, great place to have a nice meal and enjoy conversation with friends. Sushi was very good although the rice was a bit sweeter and less sticky than I'm used to. The fish was spot on. I had salmon and tuna on the rainbow roll-- very good. Service was top notch. Kind, informative, and attentive staff. Sushi chefs and bar tenders were steadily working on orders in a pleasant manner. Ambiance is relaxing. Dim but well lit atmosphere with a light hum of pleasant conversations bubbling about with classy piano mix in the background.

Silk is located in the plaza of a complex with other restaurants / shops. It was a great spot to grab some quick Chinese food. Nice sit down restaurant, casual vibes, but you can dress nicely if you want. The vibes can be whatever you want. My personal favorite dishes were the Seaweed Salad, Crab Wontons, and Singapore Noodles. I would highly recommend getting the Singapore Noodles. The flavor is really unlike anything I've ever had before! Great service and excellent portion sizes! We had leftovers and took them back to our hotel.

Came down for a work trip and after a week long of Puerto Rican food this was a recommendation from a local. Price is right but I am always skeptical with large menus. The dumplings were good and the sushi was decent. If your looking for a cheap Asian night this would be your spot but quality wise it's a 3 star for me!

After a long day of touring my friend in Old San Juan we wanted to grab a nice dinner without going too much out of our way because we were too tired. We went to Silk located right in the shopping plaza of our hotel. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but they superseded expectations. We had no reservation and they were able to accommodate a table for two. Service was fast and personnel was hospitable. I wanted to eat something "light." My beef skewers were delicious! The meet was tender and had a tad of a sweet flavor (totally loved it). The miso soup was great and perfect for my dinner mood. I would totally come back here if I was craving an Asian dinner or something light.

I've been here three times and can say 3rd time is a charm. I don't mean the previous two times sucked, they just left me feeling I hadn't tasted their full potential. The 1st time I visited I went to meet up with and friend who was already there with his family. They had no real interest in eating a full meal. They wanted to drink and eat spring rolls. They ordered about 5 or 6 orders of spring rolls (maybe more before we arrived). They were good, don't get me wrong but my wife and I wanted real food. We couldn't complain though because they were inviting. Finally they ordered some sushi and the peking pork chops. The pork chops were excellent; the sushi was fine, but the sushi chef failed. When my wife picked it up with her chopstick they fell apart. Overall we had fun, but left feeling we didn't get to really know the place. The 2nd time we ordered via Uber Eats during the lockdown. We had the Singapore Noodles and the pork dumplings. Both good, but with the usual Uber Eats complaints. Took too long and arrived a little cold. A few nights ago we went for dinner. It was a nice night so we sat outside. To start off we ordered the Vietnamese Spring Rolls. Those were really good. For main course my wife ordered sushi (can't remember which) and I ordered the cashew chicken with a 1/2 order of the Silk Fried Rice. Our son had the beef skewers. Everything was delicious. We ate everything, no leftovers. My wife also had the sake and I ordered a Japanese Craft beer. It was called Kyoto, a White Yuzu Ale. Excellent. I highly recommend trying it. Be warned though it will set you back $14. I did not know that when I ordered it. I though there was a typo in when the bill came... but no. I guess I understand. Craft breweries are small, they don't mass produce batches. It will be more expensive. Add to that shipping it to LA where it is then distributed to PR. But it was worth it, really tasty. We left feeling satisfied having finally tasted the restaurant's true potential.

This was my first visit, after hearing about it a few times. Silk specializes in Asian cuisine. If anyone would have told me that I would have some of the best sushi of my life in Puerto Rico, I would have not necessarily believed - but I did. During the COVID pandemic, tables are well spaced and with plexiglass dividers in the dining room - there is also seating outside (but watch out for humid days). For appetizer, I recommend the Fried Wontons or the Pork Dumplings. As far as sushi goes, I recommend the Crazy Roll - but all other sushi we tried was just as good.

Average Chinese food. Pretty pricey, even for condado. Roast duck was good. Their wine special was worth it though.

I admittedly had low expectations for Chinese food in PR, but the lo mein with chicken was delicious! They also had a few vegan options, like the imperial ginger w tofu (essentially sweet & sour tofu) that comes with a side of rice. My lo mein did not come with a side of rice but the portion size could be split among two people, and you can add a side of rice for a small up charge. The vibe is a black & red Asian decor, with a rap around bar and a few restaurant tables. There is also a walk-up boba bar attached that's available on the dining menu.

We tried the pan fried veggie dumplings, scallion pancake, hongkong noodles, imperial ginger tofu, black bean chicken, ube pudding and donut with condensed milk. Also 4 drinks - ranging from floral soju based, tropical gin based to fruity bourbon ones. Everything tasted alright - but don't go here expecting authentic flavors - just get ur trip fix ins for asian inspired food. Also I'd skip the imperial ginger and anything that has sweet spicy description as those dishes only lean toward sweet sugary sauce flavors. Service is good but they took really long to come out with the desserts and then the check.

Parking is a bit of a downside since there isn't much available, so I had to pay for parking. Once inside, though, everything moved incredibly fast. I got my food in less than 10 minutes, which is probably the fastest I've ever been served at a restaurant. It almost made me question how fresh it was, but after eating, I can say it was actually very good. I ordered the grilled white fish with lemon and egg fried rice with yum yum sauce on the side, plus shrimp tempura sushi to go. The yum yum sauce tasted like a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise, but when I mixed it with the fried rice, it was really, really good. The fish itself was tasty but needed more salt I ended up adding salt and squeezing lime over it to bring out the flavor. It seemed like it was only seasoned during marination and not finished properly. The salad wasn't anything special, but overall, for how quickly the food came out, the quality was impressive. Portions are generous, and the pricing matches what you get. We came around midnight and left close to 1 AM when they were closing. The place looked packed, but service was still quick and efficient. Our server was okay--nothing standout, but no issues either. Overall, I'd come back. Fast service, solid food, and a good late-night option.
