What happens during an acne facial: You lay down on a warmed up massage table and you get your face exfoliated with a scrub that smells like mint. A warm towel is used to remove the face wash. Your face is steamed with a device that has an arm that goes over your face. Then a citrus cooling gel of some sort is applied. The "acne" part of this facial is the blue light that is used next. It makes a buzzing air sound and comes really close to your face. Deb (the owner) said blue light therapy was discovered by NASA to treat scarring and was found to be beneficial for acne as well. She said usually it's a multi-session process but that there'd be benefit in 1 session. Eye covers were used during this time. The slight pressure from the eye covers felt nice. After I got a cooling face mask that smelled like Jolly Rancher Watermelon candy. I seriously considered going to buy candy after this facial because the scent made me want it so bad. The mask was removed with a warm towel and a grapefruit smelling gel was applied. With the gel, I got a facial massage where she pulled from the inside areas of my face toward the outside to "get rid of the toxins." This was my favorite because it was relaxing. After this I got a cocoa butter eucalyptus-smelling chap stick applied to my face. Afterward a cold compress towel was placed on my face. Cons: The Spotify radio station playing got interrupted by 3 phone calls (because it was connected to her phone) and ads (should upgrade to premium for the sake of keeping a tranquil feel). The music was alright but reminded me of those songs you'd hear during a focused and concentrated video game (either chess video game or a RPG). Deb's nails were long and the sensation of her acrylic (?) nails as opposed to her fingers at some points during the facial massage was a little weird. I was hoping the acne facial was more of a blackhead removing (either thru steamed suction cup thing or from squeezing it out) or pimple extracting type facial but it wasn't. After the entire session, I got to my car and realized there was white gel/product in my nose hanging out like a booger. Pros: Deb is a super kind and easy-to-talk to person. I'm not used to having conversation when I am getting a massage or facial but I didn't mind occasional conversation with Deb because it was interesting and fun to talk to her. Despite all the distractions, I did feel relaxed (just not as relaxed as I have felt at some other facials). The bed was warm so I really didn't need to be wearing my fleece sweater. The space is clean and well kept. There is parking out front and the facial room is separate from the salon.

The prices run from somewhat low to a little over moderate, in my opinion. The clothing keeps up with contemporary styles, which is very nice. There are always so many sales, and clearance racks are great for clothing/ accessories you know you won't keep forever. I do find some items are good value and well made, but some are a bit lower quality. This store is bright and clean, the sales associates were very friendly and the sale racks were very orderly and easy to look through. My only minor complaints, I was looking for some one season children's items on sale. (They outgrow them so fast). I found a few things, but I unexpectedly stumbled on 2 Small shelves with discounted long sleeve shirts that was not visibly marked Sale. I got some great buys, so remember to look carefully. Second minor complaint, some sales people do not even make an attempt to fold clothes. She completely messed up my left middle finger to where she took off a side of it, leaving the other side done, and redipping the other side making the color different and chunky! My nails haven't even been on a week and there ready to come off, my pinky finger is catching my hair! My cuticles are completely messed up too, shredded. She didn't even fully put the gel dip on my nails so the sides are my actual nail color then the gel dip color. I will definitely not be going here again, waste of money!
