I have found my new go to plumbers. Silva And Sons were great. Installed a gas line in my kitchen so I can finally go from an electric to gas range. They also repaired my fireplace gas line that was built in 1978. Business was started by their grandfather and is a licensed family owned business. Plumbers are the cardiologists of the home. If you're having "open heart" surgery on your likely most valuable asset (your home), you want nothing but the BEST surgeons. Joey and Aryan are just that. Combination surgeons and artists. They take tremendous pride in their work product. They are meticulous in their planning and execution. Every step of the way they keep you fully informed and take as much time as you need to answer questions and provide options. Extremely likeable guys, and true professionals in every way. At the end of the day, you don't feel like you've been taken advantage of. They are fair and reasonable. This is the third time we've had them work on our 1954 built, cement block construction home, which presents many challenges. They overcame them all! This project was by far the most extensive. A complete re-piping from the street meter throughout the entire home, along with a water softener and under-sink Reverse Osmosis water filtration system. Due to the construction materials of our home, much of the plumbing is exposed, in the garage, under the outside awnings and poking through into bathrooms and kitchen. This made their attention to detail and eye for aesthetics especially important. They did not fail to impress. I find myself going into my garage just to stare at their work. It is truly impressive. I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone would be lucky to have a trust-worthy and competent mechanic, accountant, lawyer, physician, electrician and plumber. We had Silva and Sons come out two years ago to reroute the line from the main to our house because of a new driveway. I was really happy with their work. We recently had an issue where a fitting coming off the main PVC line to an old copper line leading to an outside hose busted and started leaking. I left a voicemail message in the later evening hour yesterday and received a call back moments later by Joey Silva. He was very professional and prompt in offering to come out the next morning. He arrived a head of schedule and fixed the problem immediately. He was more than fair at not charging me, but explained that the water heater may not last too much longer due to its age. During Covid and very tight budgets I was really relieved to know he just helped me buy more time with my current hot water heater! Genuily Awesome! I cut into a live water pipe, thinking it was the old remains of disconnected irrigation system. Texted them at 6:30pm, and they were at my house within minutes. The line was a steel line for some reason, instead of copper or brass, however, Joe quickly got the job done with some impressive improvisation. The whole thing only took a few minutes. I would give Silva & Sons 10 stars if I could! I called at 10:30am this morning and explained to Laina that our water pressure was suddenly WAY off the charts - she said she would check to see how quickly Joey and Aryan could come over and get back to me soon. A moment later she called back and said they could be here within a couple hours!!!! When they arrived right on time (got a text notification they were en route), they were super quick to assess the issue, shut off the water, and offer repair options. They said they needed a part and would be back shortly. True to their word, they showed up with the required part in no time at all and easily handled the installation of a new pressure regulator which saved my fixtures and a lot of headaches. Fantastic service! From the quote visit to the completion of the job, the Silva's were extremely efficient and easy to work with. Their pricing was also the most competitive (I got a quote from 5 different companies to switch out our whole shower set). Their pricing was the best. They had to cut our dry wall instead of breaking our tile. They did an extremely clean cut and taped the patch to the wall. Just every detail of the job was excellent! Highly recommend them. Great service and great price. I had an item dropped into toilet that caused it to be partially clogged and required removing the toilet to clear it. I set up appointment for today with another plumber (before reading their reviews) and soon after found out they won't make it as promised. Contacted Silva & Son's Received response in 5 minutes and was able to set an appointment for this afternoon. The owner texted me 30 minutes before the appointment that he can't make it on time and if I'm fine with his father doing the job. It was fine with me and a great experience. The father went to work right away, toilet was removed in 5 minutes and the block removed in 10. He then took his time to set the toilet back correctly. I don't typically make reviews, but I feel Silva & Sons Plumbing has far exceeded my expectations. A couple of days ago, my kitchen sink was backed up. It eventually turned into a huge mess after attempting to clear the blockage myself. The next day, I sought help from 2 different plumbing services, both of which were unsuccessful and clueless about what was causing the blockage. After wasting time and money for the first two companies to come out, I came to terms with the expensive alternative options these companies had proposed. Luckily, I ran across Silva & Sons Plumbing on a Google search. I figured I might as well get a third opinion, and I am sure glad I did! Joey answered the phone right away and was able to squeeze us in, same day. He assessed the situation quickly and began finding a solution immediately. The equipment he used looked years ahead of the other companies, and he was able to show me everything in my pipes using a high-tech drain camera. Not only did he find the issue with the blockage, but he also went in and cleaned the build-up to prevent issues like this in the future. I got to see what the pipes looked like before and after; the difference was incredible. The moral of the story is, Silva & Sons Plumbing will be on the top of my list for plumbing services.
