Both guys were great to deal with, hard working, and the did a great job. Price was good. The drove all the way out to Claremont so a long drive for them. What more could I ask for. I'm a Lyft driver and part of their Express Driver program where you rent a car from Lyft and use it as your own. I've had the same car (2015 Hyundai Elantra) for over 6 months and done over 2000 rides. Over the course of this time, the car seats would increasingly get dirty. All the car seats were stained with dirt, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, on New Years Eve a passenger threw up in the backseat and I needed the interior to be detailed ASAP. After some searching through Yelp, I found Silver & Black Detailing. I called their number and was scheduled for an appointment the very same day for the next hour. They are a mobile service that arrives at your location. Gus arrived early to the appointment where I told him my situation. There was a slight smell and stain and I wished to have the entire interior detailed. Gus told me it would take 2 hours and I left him to his work. A few hours later, Gus called to let me know my car was finished and WOW! The car on the inside look practically new just like when I first picked up the car. I was really impressed on how beautiful and clean the inside of the car looks. I will definitely be using their services in the future! Highly recommended!! read more

I made an appointment yesterday online and got a call right away confirming my appointment time, he arrived on time and walked me threw everything he was going to do. We have two kids so our infiniti truck had been neglected. He was able to get set in stains out of the carpet. Our truck looks brand new. There was an extra 30$ added to the charge which I didn't mind considering the fantastic job he did. We have some salt damage to our chrome rims(from living in Idaho where they salt the roads to get rid of the snow) but he still managed to make them look great. I really have nothing bad to say. I will be making another appointment soon to keep out truck looking nice. read more

I hired Silver & Black to come out a detail my Hyundai Genesis and also do a basic wash on my Jag as well. My main reason for having them come out is that the Genesis had some light swirl marks in the paint I wanted to be removed or reduced as much as possible. I made an appointment with Gus and he said they had an opening the next morning. He and Jose showed up the next morning and they were right on time. They brought all their own equipment (they did not even need my hose or an electrical outlet). They spent over an hour thoroughly cleaning the inside of my car as well as wiping down and conditioning all of my leather. They then spent over 2 hours washing, clay baring, buffing and waxing my Genesis. By the time it was done the car looked great and the swirl marks had been significantly reduced. The also did a nice jobs on the Jag, even though I just got their cheapest wash for it. Having checked around a little I though their price was good (especially when you consider their first time special) and if you consider how good a job they did and how much time they spent, it seemed like a great value to me. Plus it was super convenient, not having to sit around for hours at a car wash while your car is worked on. read more

If you need a mobile detailer who is professional, detail oriented, prepared, very hard-working, (I can keep going!) then you have found the right place!!! My husband and I are so pleased to have had the pleasure of meeting Gus as we have to look no further for another car detail service. I called and was fit into the schedule and Gus was right on time. He spent at least 4-5 hours on my Acadia and didn't miss any spots. He worked diligently to get our embarrassing gum stains out of our carpet and then some!! When he was done, my children said "our car is sooooo clean and NEW again!!! The next day we called again and he did a Complete Detail on my husbands Chevy Dually... In the 9 years we've owned it, it has not looked so good! He went through so many spots to get everything to be dust/dirt free, which is nearly impossible in a full time construction rig and parked location but he did it!!! I read the reviews for Silver & Black Detailing on Yelp. Gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for 12 noon. He was running late and gave me the courtesy of letting me know he wouldn't arrive until 1:00 PM. I opted for the "First Timer's Customer Special" for $110.00. He spent about an hour and a half on the inside of the vehicle before it started to rain outside. He notified me that it was starting to rain so I told him don't worry about the outside. I was expecting a $55.00 bill ($55.00 for the inside, $55.00 for the outside for a total of $110.00) but was surprised to see that I was charged $75.00 for the inside ONLY. I'm not sure if this is common practice to charge more for interiors but I just wanted to let everyone know my experience. read more

Just had Silver &Black Detailing over to clean my 2011 Sienna Minivan. Even though the car is just over 2 years old, I have three children between the ages of 7 and 13 when I purchased the car so you can imagine the condition. I got my car cleaned often as i could but with the kids and their friends and long road trips with spilled drinks, melted crayons, etc, the car needed some serious love n care. Gus showed up and stayed almost 5 hrs and cleaned it from inside out and as the kids said, "It looks like a new car!" He was very pleasant, hard worker, and paid attention to detail (even vacuumed the ceiling of the car). He was very reasonably priced compared to other companies I called. In times when people try to take shortcuts and hope that others won't notice, Gus was intent on a job well done and taking pride in his work. Very reliable and honest. I'm going to have his company do the cleaning on my Tesla and the Avalon as well. Tired of taking it to hand car wash only to point out to the guys who do the cleaning the places that they need to retouch or clean. He cracked my dashboard and never told me. He must've put all his weight on the dash to clean the windshield and it cracked. Of course I didn't notice until the next day when I drove my car. All I know is it wasn't cracked before he cleaned it and after he cleaned my car, it was cracked! If he was honest, he would've told me immediately, I see no purpose in confronting him, bc he'll deny it. I can't stand dishonest people. Fess up when you make a mistake. It makes you a better person. Don't get mad when someone stiffs you Silver & Black Detailing, because you had no problem doing that to me. read more
