I fell in love with a beautiful one of a kind ring. The price tag was heavy. Over 25k, my person actually bought it for me. I could not ever express the joy I had. It was worn with so much love and pride that I can't express. Unfortunately we had a terrible brake up and he said I could sell it as I had no place to live and no job at the time. I went back to Golden Swan already heartbroken and asked to sell it back. The owner said all they could do was give me $1000 and the promise I could come back and rebuy it. It felt like a pawn situation and I trusted them since they had sold us such a gem. My partner and I reunited and he went back to get it about 2 months later. We were told it was scrapped and they no longer had it. I can't express the pure horror I faced. It was truly devastating and I will never forget the way I was swindled. I understand there are ways to make money, but this was disappointing and disgusting. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Sierra Moon is amazing and I tell all my clients to shop there. I went to the store and the person working behind the counter was not able to find any so he left a note for the owner and told me that the owner would call me as soon as he returned. It has been ten days and the owner hasn't called. A few days later I drove past the store and their neon OPEN sign was turned on in their front window. So I found a parking place on Riverside Avenue (not easy) and went to their door. It was locked with a small CLOSED sign and another sign that said they would return at 11AM. It was after 12 noon when this occurred. Three days later I drove by the store again and the neon OPEN sign was off but their front security door was wide open with a big OPEN sign hanging from it. I was lucky enough to find a parking place directly in front of the store. When I got to the front door with the OPEN sign, the door was locked and there was no button to push so I could be buzzed in like other coin shops have. So I called their phone number and it just rang and rang so there was obviously nobody in this "open" coin shop. Whomever runs this place is an inconsiderate buffoon who is too dim to be in business, and they will certainly not be receiving any business from me.

However, I had a wonderful time at DeVons looking at watches. I've heard horror stories of customers being disrespected and having an awful time at a Rolex AD (authorized dealer.) However my experience here was outstanding. Robert took care of me and I was happy to learn from his expertise. He was kind and courteous and immediately treated me like a friend. I appreciated his insight and honesty. If you are not aware, you cannot walk into a Rolex AD and buy a watch. They are all sold out. So you are essentially looking at watches and putting your name on a waiting list to be able to purchase a watch in the future. That is not DeVons fault, that is just the current market. I had a major knee operation. And it required a second surgery. I'm hoping to commemorate the resilience and recovery with the oyster perpetual. I was so thankful that my first experience in a Rolex AD was at DeVons and with Robert. I understand that the current economy in Rolex watches has waiting lists. That is just the reality. The take home is that everyone at DeVons treated its customers with respect and made them feel welcome. For this I am thankful and I will hopefully be buying my watches from DeVons for many years.
