The vehicle was fully functional when I arrived, no problem on the keys at all! After an inspection, I was given a quote of over $2k which I declined as it was far too expensive for the issue. After waiting a long time to get my car back, I went to ask what was going on and was told my car wouldn't start, and they didn't know why. They insisted the issue was likely related to an ignition problem they had mentioned during a visit back in August -- even though I explained that problem had already been resolved, and my car was working perfectly when I brought it in (besides the noise) They kept pushing me to leave the car and pay them to investigate, despite my repeated explanations. I also asked to speak with the shop owners and was refused, with no proper resolution offered. After three hours of back and forth, I finally called a tow truck to remove my car from the shop. When the tow arrived, we discovered the real reason it wouldn't start: They opened my key and removed the chip inside. This is completely unacceptable and deeply dishonest. Any reputable business should operate with transparency and integrity, this place clearly does not. I do not recommend this shop under any circumstances!

This was a verbal discussion, of course nothing was in writing. Three weeks later, with very little communication on their part, they let us know the Buick is ready to go. During this time, if we enquired on the status of our vehicle it was all on our part. The most we were told was "not ready yet, check engine light is on now, we're trying to figure that out". So today my husband goes to pick the Buick up and the total is $9,500!!!! Almost double the original quote. We never would have spent that much on a 2010 Buick! We were not even given the option of agreeing or disagreeing to this price. Most reputable businesses will call and say "Hey, we found this wrong with it now, it will now be this much....." . Or even better, have us initial off on a quote. Not ONCE was this offered to us, only verbal quotes. The best part of this poor business practice is when I called to express my outrage, "Scott", only argued with me about how he never said "$5500-7000", I said "$8,000". Now they are insulting our intelligence as we NEVER would have agreed to that much on repairing a used car. But of course, there is no PAPER trail to this quote because they put nothing in writing!!! They professionally perform the work you request for a fair (not cheap) price. Occasionally they point out another repair/concern but never jump into it until walking you through their opinion (sometimes we do the work, sometimes we let it ride). Above all else, they are trustworthy. Finally, I've been at the counter several times when someone comes in with a vehicle blowing smoke and driving sideways, asking to make it run like new. Or worse yet, some hungover/strung-out person comes in screaming that they have to have their properly towed vehicle immediately! Its contents immediately!! Ect.!!! Simply put, no one likes the warden when YOU have done something very wrong.
