Warren Silver was the attorney for my first-ever real-estate purchase, of a condo on the North Side of Chicago. He was detailed, patient and helpful. At the closing he explained all the minutiae so it actually made sense (!). He was also very careful with the contracts. My realtor was extremely impressed with Warren's thoroughness in protecting my interests if things fell through ... and I ended up bidding on three places, so this was an extended process. I will say, in response to the other review, that Warren takes the time to be thorough, make sure he answers questions correctly with actual knowledge, and preferably move things forward between phone calls/emails. This typically takes a little longer than humoring anxious buyers (and we're all anxious) with nutritionless hand-holding. I was glad he was focusing his time on getting things right rather than calling/emailing to tell me he'd call/email me later every time, but maybe that's just me. read more
