My first cigar lounge. I guess I'm just not a fan of smoky places. Rather odd thing to say stepping into a place that exists for purposes of smoking, eh? Well, I had been told that the ventilation system was one of the finest there was. Evidently it wasn't working this night. I breathed in everyone's cigar smoke along with my own. They had nothing to eat or snack on. They apologized as they hadn't been to Sam's to pick up any snacks yet. I suppose they don't offer themselves as a restaurant, so can't fault them for that overall. I suppose I'm just not a fan. But it is a nice place if you are into such things. read more

I went to go visit my friend in Ft.Worth for a few days. We both have a cigar collection and we decided to go to this place. It's was our first time ever going to a cigar lounge and needless to say, I had a great experience. They offer a wide variety of cigars and drinks. The staff is great and friendly. I was told about this cigar lounge by a friend so I finally decided to stop by. I walked in and the place was PACKED. I was very intimidated at first. I walked into the humidor and I was greeted by a staff member and he was very friendly and gave me a suggestion on which cigar I should pick. I started my tab, found a seat, and ended up staying there for about 3 hours. Everyone inside was very friendly (including all staff). I would definitely go back. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I wish it was a tad bigger and I wish there was a wider selection of cigars to pick from. read more

What an interesting place. After dinner one night we decide to walk over to the Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge. There were 3 of us and none of us had been there. We walked in and were really impressed. Big oversized leather chairs along with tables. You felt that your were in an old gentleman's club (not that kind, get your mind out of the gutter). Although the ventilation is good if you are bothered by smoke then this place is not for you. You will leave smelling like cigar smoke. We actually left our shirts outside after we got home to let them air out. You can bring your own cigars or purchase in their extensive cigar room. We were recommended some cigar (I'm not a cigar guy and have no idea what we had) but ask the price. The one had were $17 each when we checked out. A little steep for me would have been happy with a cheaper one because I'm not a cigar expert. Check them out but be ready to smell like a cigar till your next shower. PS. This is a premiere lounge. From cigars to spirits to sports, to ambience, they've got it all. The cigar selection is not bad at all. They have some familiar, everyday stocks, and some I've never seen or heard of before. Very nice selection of lighters and cutters as well. The bar is aesthetically well designed and is stocked with all of the classics as well as some pretty choice bourbons. I have nothing bad to say about the place and they DO validate parking. Many have complained about the ventilation, but honestly, if you go to a cigar lounge, you should expect to smell like cigars. I will definitely visit whenever I'm in the area. In the area with some friends, one of them grew up here and we met one of her high school classmates here last night. We arrived around 6:00 and her friend already had a table. We sat down and after a few minutes we got menus. Once we were seated, we decided what cigar we we going to smoke. We went to the humidifier room, where they have the cigars and it was amazing. My friend picked out a cigar for me, since I have absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing. I decided to get the same as her, and the cigar aficionado (cigar sommelier), said that was a good choice. We sat back and our waitress finally took our order. Both of my friends decided get a glass of red wine, and I went with a Corona with salt and lime. The drinks came out finally and we lit up our cigars. Our waitress was okay, but I have to say that the other waitress Ashley was absolutely fantastic. She spent the four hours that we were there being very helpful. The cigar was fantastic, but to top it off off, they had a special on Ketel One drinks, as they were free. I took advantage of that, and have a Ketel One and Cranberry. The ambiance of the establishment was amazing, a nice band and you could also watch the Olympics or a replay of the Houston Astros game. The clientele was very diverse, and the average was between 30 and up. If I was in the area again, I would be here again. Great job to all the employees and especially Ashley. read more

We came into town for the weekend for a buddies birthday. All of us are in the cigar industry in some way shape or form. We walked in with cigars. Sat our cigars down and some of us walked to the bathroom others walked to the bar. The humidor manager walked over and condescendingly informed us that they didn't allow outside cigars and that we would need to purchase cigars from the shop. Cigar etiquette includes bringing cigars but also intentionally purchasing cigars from every establishment that you go to smoke (We follow this etiquette.) We spent $90+ in the humidor (and could have spent more) spent another $300 on drinks. In the humidor we were told to create a tab, throw all of our sticks on it and that it could be split up later. We were fine with that. At the end of several hours we asked to split up our tabs and were told that we could only split it 4 ways because (she had already asked us.) wait staff was great when it came to bringing drinks but at the end of the day gave us a hard time about itemizing our tabs a refused to do anything but split it 4 ways. I had heard nothing but wonderful things about this establishment for over 3 years and when we finally made it here; to be treated with such a disparity of customer service and management. Edit: after we closed our tabs (some tipped some didn't) our waitress came out and argued with us for 10 minutes about our experience. The manager should've been concerned with our experience and addressed any needed changes. Dissatisfied and disappointed. We will not be returning. read more

I will lead off by pointing out that I am not a cigar smoker so I will not be able to give any feedback on any of their products but I had a good visit to this cigar lounge. Initially I was concerned that I would be overwhelmed by the smell but I was pleasantly surprised. They have good ventilation in the lounge so even though you can smell it upon walking in, it is almost immediately forgotten once you are settled. There are coat racks in the vestibule so that patrons can avoid picking up the cigar smell. The humidor is in the back with hundreds of options. You pick out what you want and a staff member will bring it and all the accessories to your seat. They also have a wide array of drink options to help you further enjoy the relaxing visit. For my first time, this place is great, a little pricey and the only bad thing is the view, of the Cheesecake Factory. They have a great selection of cigars and with not that many place were you can smoke indoors this a luxurious and relaxing lounge. Many different flavors and types and if you don't know much about about cigars, their staff are knowledgeable. So don't be afraid to ask, she help me alot. Attendee this lounge on Halloween. Me and my friend were initially trying to hit up 7th street BUT it was way too packed filled with adolescents! Atmosphere is nice. This lounge was very clean. I took my fiance here to celebrate our anniversary as we are both cigar smokers. Not anything fancy and I probably cant tell you much about them but that's why I go to places like Silver Leaf. The Humidor assistant was phenomenal. He didnt try to oversell us or get us to spend tons of money (which we could have done on our own). He picked out one for my fiance and then another one for me. Both were perfect for our taste and within a reasonable price range. That's one of the best aspects, the great variety of cigars and prices. Sitting down in Sundance Square and being able to enjoy a cigar and a nice drink is a plus as well. The drink list is a great addition because they had something for everyone even the nonsmokers. I will be back to relax and enjoy a drink with a nice cigar. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We waited over 30 minutes to get our cigars cut. One of our own party members had to get our drinks from the bar because not a single waitress was to be found. Frustrated, we decided to get our own cutter and lighter but were told to wait for someone to get our cigars cut. Another 30 minutes later a waitress m "off duty" decided to help us out, and then sat there talking with the owners son (she was there for over an hour). Don't change your store policy about outside cigars without announcing it. I called the day before to check the policy. After I broke the seal on my waxed Ghurka, I was told about the new policy; $8 cutting fee for outside cigars. Did not matter that I bought two $12 Old Fashioned Whiskys. After I explained everything, all I received was a "I'm sorry". Zero attempt to correct the problem. I brought 3 buddies there for their 1st time, after talking it up for months, and now none of us will go back. Also, if you haven't stocked Gulden Drak in a year, you should take it off the menu. Cool spot downtown to go enjoy a cigar. We got a table immediately and had nice service. Not every seat has the best views of the TVs but it's still nice. The ventilation was very nice, it was not smoky or hazy inside and they didn't have a cut fee (we brought our own cigars). Nice drink selection and free valet parking!
