An amazing experience tasting our favorite beverage. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the hospitality was great. I would definitely recommend checking out Blackland when voting Th

Every town has that one watering hole where time slows down, and Fort Worth has Blackland Distillery. TL;DR Cheese board stacked high, cocktails crafted with precision, and bourbon that'll put hair on your chest faster than a Texas windstorm. It was a little after 6:30 on a Saturday. Errands were done, the sun was still flexing its summer muscles, and the wife and I weren't ready to call it a night. Blackland was the answer, as it usually is. We've toured the stills, sat through the supper club, and sipped flights that made us believers. Tonight, we kept it simple: bar stools, snacks, and some finely made drinks. The cheese and charcuterie board hit the table like a Texas spread at a church potluck. Prosciutto draped like silk, salami stacked with purpose, rillette spreading smooth, and cheeses that had us doing the Lord's work with every crostini. Brie, manchego, asiago peperoncino, a dab of fig jam, whole grain mustard, and a little pimento cheese that punched well above its weight. Figs, apricots, and peppers rounded it out. No filler here, just a bounty fit for people who take grazing seriously. Drinks arrived with just as much ceremony. My wife opened with the Blackland Build #1, a crisp gin and tonic dressed up with cucumber and rosemary, while I went straight for the Blackland Old Fashioned. That rye whiskey carried its proof with pride, smoothed by demerara syrup and balanced with bitters. We leaned back, settled in, and let the evening get comfortable. As the room buzzed with more patrons, we went in for round two. My wife's Blackland Build #2 was a stunner, strawberry-infused gin tangled with basil and lemon. I stepped up with a neat pour of their 100-proof bourbon. One sip, and I was convinced Marcus Kypreos and his team distilled Fort Worth straight into the barrel. Blackland Distillery is no secret anymore, but it never feels played out. Every visit feels intentional, every glass feels earned, and every snack plate feels curated for the kind of people who enjoy conversation as much as what's in their glass. This place has become our regular refuge, and I suspect it'll keep its hold on us for years to come.

Love the service, ambience and cocktails every time we go! Parking is pretty limited as well as seating inside. Staff will always try to keep an eye out for available seating if it starts to get crowded.

Staff were all very nice and accommodating. They do take reservations, so call ahead if it's weekend. The ambiance was laid back but not pretentious. Also, average prices for a distillery.

Stopped by here after seeing their distillery tour online. We were seated as soon as we arrived and had our welcome drinks, we picked the old fashioned and dreamsicle fizz. The old fashioned was good but the dreamsicle fizz was too sweet for me personally and didn't have any fizz, so the description felt a little off. The tour was informational, Sophie was our guide and she did a good job. We enjoyed it along with the overall ambiance of the place. The tour is $36 ($30 plus a 20% mandatory fee). We decided to purchase 2 bottles of the pecan brown sugar bourbon after the tour, which is great to make holiday drinks. They charged us the 20% mandatory fee on the bottles as well, so would recommend to pay attention to that. We later found out that the bottles were cheaper at the liquor store which didn't make much sense. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and are proud to have Blackland right here in TX. We loved the texpresso and the pecan brown sugar bourbon, would highly recommend those!

Another stop during our trip to Fort Worth. I'd read about them on IG and a friend recommended as well. First greeting and service was awesome. The gentleman answered the questions and made so great recommendations. The crowd seemed to be locals with some out of towners (besides us) mixed in. Either way, it was a nice intimate environment. When, whom I assume was the manager, came and asked if we needed anything else, it took a turn. I don't know if I asked the wrong thing or if he didn't like the way I looked or what. Tbh, I don't think it's the way I look, I had showered and brushed my teeth that day. Anyway, his facial expression was akin to gtfo and why are you even here? We finished our drinks and left, we might come back and if we do, I'll make sure to bow down before the bearded manager and apologize in advance for any stupid question I ask.

From the moment we stepped into Blackland Distillery, it was clear that this wasn't your average spirit-slinging spot. Our guide, Brian, greeted us with a smile so bright it could've powered the distillery itself. He wasn't just a guide; he was a walking encyclopedia of everything ethanol, with a splash of stand-up comedian. Brian led us through the magical land of mashes and barrels, telling tales of grains and gins so enthralling, I half-expected to see a whiskey fairy pop out of a barrel. The samples flowed like a river of liquid gold, and each drink was a masterpiece. I mean, the cocktails were so good, I started feeling poetic. Or maybe that was just the vodka talking. The highlight? A tasty concoction of frozen orange juice ice cubes, the dream sickle ." It was like tasting the soul of an orange --bold, beautiful, and a tad rebellious. By the end of the tour, not only were we tipsy with delight, but we were also considering enrolling in Brian's unofficial school of booze wizardry. If you're looking for a sign to visit Blackland Distillery, this is it. Go for the spirits, stay for Brian's charm and leave as a slightly wiser (and definitely happier) connoisseur of fine liquors. Cheers to an unforgettably spirited adventure!

*Note - the tour is 2 hours*. My friend and I booked a tour because we love a good distillery tour. It does not say online how long the tour is, which on a regular day would have been fine but my friend had a commitment & wasn't able to finish her tasting. The couple next to us also seemed antsy toward the last 30mins. Outside of that, everything was great! The tours start at 1pm, which is when the distillery opens. So we had to wait outside before they opened the doors. But they have a nice outdoor patio. Once we got inside, our welcome drink was waiting for us. We got to sip on that & settle in for a few minutes before the tour started. Tour guide, warren was knowledgeable and funny. Blackland is a unique distillery than others I been to, as so much of their process is done through technology. Once the tour was over, we were back at our seats at the bar for our tastings. Bartender, Eric was very friendly & attentive. My faves were the gin & rye -- which are NOT my typical drinks or choice! So they are doing something right. I also added a tasting of the texpresso, which was absolutely divine. Overall the tour is definitely worth it!

How have I not yet completed a review?! This place is one of my absolute favorite spots for happy hour, seasonal favs, or just a quick stop and shop as I tend to leave with a bottle on occasion. Very cool space, cute and cozy and always great service. They don't serve food, but welcome you to bring some in. There have been a few staff changes lately, but nothing too crazy.

One of favorites for craft cocktails. Great service too. Hope they get few more bites on the menu for vegetarians and fix the bright lights ;-)

My friends and I love blackland! We usually try to end the night here after dinner in Ft worth which isn't too often. My favorite cocktail of theirs have been the pina colada with spiced rum. It was so amazing, refreshing and light ! I wish they would bring it back. But most of the cocktails are seasonal. We did have another cocktail with a frozen ball of orange juice. That was very interesting. It made the drink sweeter as more of the orange juice melted. Making the drink taste slightly different every minute. We do love a lot of their liquor and have the bottles at home. Will def keep coming here and trying their new cocktails every season.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.
